GREENSKEEPER

First of all contacted the vendor by email and didn not get a response by end of day. Phoned vendor who took responsibility for not getting back to me right away saying he is very busy at the moment and could not talk. Said he would phone me that evening. Two days lated I phoned this vendor again who again stated how busy he was except this time made a date to meet me at my home. Vendor was prompt on meeting me at my home. After discussing what I was considering he excused himself for ten minutes and returned with a photo of my home with digital graphic images in place which gave a look as to what was being considered. Vendor said he would send me an email with a quote for the work. One week lated I received the quote with a message stating that he had quoted me earlier however for some odd reason the message was returned to him unsent to me. I chose not to use this vendor for my project.

Greenskeeper was on time and the gentleman was very personable. He suggested various landscaping improvements and after taking pictures of my property, showed what those improvements would look like on his computer. He later emailed what those improvements would cost. Maybe his estimate was reasonable but it seemed high to me. I'm really not current on the cost of landscaping but I was hoping to pay quite a bit less. I ended up doing some of those improvements on my own.

We bought our home last August and it already had multiple mature planting areas throughout the property. We waited until this Spring to put the finishing touches on the landscaping and further improve the curb appeal with splashes of color... Of course, we also needed to remove and relocate several plants, pull all weeds and finish it off with a new layer of mulch. John came out and did a thorough walk-around inspection and followed up in a few days with a written proposal delivered via email. On the day the work was to be performed, John arrived promptly with his crew and went over the whole job with them (and us) in detail so we knew exactly what to expect. The team took most of the day to perform the work and when they were done cleaning up, the transformation was complete. We shopped this job to 2 other contractors but Greenskeeper was the only company to follow through with a proposal and an appointment that fit into our busy schedules. I'm confident that John stands behind his work and would wholeheartedly recommend his company.

Follow up is slow. Called a month ago and he hasn't come over.

John came out and took a picture of the existing garden in my front yard, and one week later he came back with his computer and showed me a design ( which I was not allowed to keep) of what type of shrubs would look good. I already had lots of greenery in the garden and wanted suggestions on flowering shrubs that would last all summer into fall. He came back with a quote to plant the shrubs, edge, $1665.00. I felt this was excessive since the garden is already established and I am only planting new shrubs and edging.

Cannot remember the exact date of the special that was posted on Angie's list. This "provider" had an offer for landscaping design/suggestions for property owners at a special fee. After being charged for / paying for this service, there was never any contact from this company. I had never expected this from someone on Angie's list, and am more than somewhat disappointed. Consequently, we contracted with another reputable landscaper (not through Angie's list) who provided us with a FREE assessment of what our property needed, with pleasant results thereafter. Unfortunately, we are out of the money paid to the original landscaper. Never again will we take advantage of an opportunity like this !!

Overall, excellent service. No complaints. Very reliable. I am still waiting for all my beds on the property to be mulched and the edges cleaned up, but I am sure that will happen soon.

Quote was way high for my budget.

John from Greenskeeper is great! From the time we met him, we knew he was a trustworthy guy and one we wanted to do business with. As our yard renovation project unveilled itself, with a lot of help from John, we were very impressed with his team as they transformed our old yard with little grass and plantings into a wonderful sight to see every time we drive up our driveway. We definitely reccommend Greenskeeper.

The landscapers arrived the day and time we agreed on and the work was completed in the amount of time that was estimated. The hedges look great and the excessive amount of debris was all removed, leaving our yard clean. They were professional and did a very nice job.

Was contacted by Greenskeeper and they were very professional and responsive. Unfortunately, the timing did not work and I used another company. I would consider Greenskeeper again in the future.

We are very happy with our overall experience with Greenskeeper. John came to our house for a consultation and provided us with an estimate for the work that we wanted to have done. After we gave a deposit, the crew came to remove the old shrubs and photograph the gardens. John then came back with his computer to show us the digital landscaping designs he had created. He was very open to our feedback and made several changes to the original plans. On the day that the new shrubs were being planted, we were able to look at everything, and he even made a few trips back to the nursery to switch things that we were unsure of. The yard looks great, and John has been back to check in on how the grass and all of the plants are doing. What really impressed us the most about Greenskeeper, however, is that they helped us out with a few things above and beyond what was in the contract. There was an additional garden of hedges that we were initially unsure what to do with. We ultimately decided that we wanted to remove the hedges and plant flowers. John and his crew did this for us at no additional charge since they already had the equipment there. In addition, they moved a big pile of firewood for us and finished spreading mulch in our backyard, which were two things that I mentioned we had been meaning to get around to but never seemed to have the time. Overall, we found John and his crew to be professional, easy to work with, and responsive. We highly recommend them!

Overall it has been a long process because of the rains and hot summer weather.

The crew came on time and well exceeded our expectaions

I received 3 quotes for the work I wanted done. John responded promptly, his price was fair compared to the other two quotes and I felt the most comfortable with him. He listened to what I wanted and provided vision on some things to do as well. He did not try to get me to do more than I needed. Due to all the rain my job got pushed just a few days and John worked with me to reschedule; they showed right on time as scheduled. John's team did a great job, the yard et al looks awesome and I am getting neighbors asking who did the work. I would definitely recommend John and will use him in the future.

Following my initial call John Ferucci responded promptly and explained everything clearly and thoroughly/ He presented a fair estimate for the necessary work. The crew arrived a few days later and completed the work in a timely manner demonstrating professionalism. John also "pointed" some needy crumbling cement not related to the retaining wall damage. (no charge) Nice cleanup following the job. I recommend Greenskeeper based upon this experience.

They fix all the landscape and even did a few extra things to make the job perfect. I highly recommend this company to anyone who needs landscaping work. I like the work so much I had them come back and mulch the gardners for the spring.

My parents have a fairly large yard that needed a major cleanup. John came out promptly and gave me an estimate for the cleanup; he was very professional and clearly knowledgable about the process. We scheduled the work for the following week, and he and his crew were here promptly on the agreed upon day. The crew was also very professional and extremely hard working, explaining the process to me and handling my last minute requests with humour. It began to pour only a few hours into the day-long project, but they kept working until it became impossible to continue. They were back the following morning and worked for four straight hours without any breaks. They not only removed leaves and tree debris (without damaging any of the already blooming plants), as was discussed, but removed large limbs, tidied up all areas of the yard, weeded and pruned, redefined existing beds, tilled the soil, and rearranged existing lighting and yard ornaments that had been knocked over and buried by storms and leaves. The yard looks incredible - it doesn't even look like the same space! My parents are so pleased that they will be contacting Greenskeepers to do a whole new landscape design.

He is very efficient in coming out and checking things out for us. He got the bid back to us very quickly. He works out of his home, so his mom answers the phone and she is very sweet!

John was very good to deal with, did more than we agreed on and charged what we had agreed on from the beginning. He was always on time, returned phone calls promptly and was a pleasure to work with. I would definitely recommend him to anybody.

John, the owner, was prompt, reliable and professional through all aspects of the project, from estimating, planning through to installation. His crew was also reliable and hardworking. The result is wonderful and exactly what we wanted and had discussed. John was excellent at telling me how to take care of all the new plantings, and why plants were placed where they are. He called a few weeks after installation to see how the plants were doing and to see if I had any questions. When I called him later, during a particularly hot and dry spell, with concerns about some of the trees, he made a special trip to make sure all the plants were OK.

EXCELLENT!!! John from Greenskeeper did a great job designing and installing my new landscape. The crew and equipment the company has is impressive, especially his hydroseeder which was used to seed my yard. The professionalism that John and his entire crew demonstrated was superb. John took the time to listen & understand exactly what we wanted! My husband is in the construction field and has dealt with many landscapers but Greenskeeper proved to be superior! Even though we knew it would be pricey to do what we wanted, we absolutely got our monies worth and then some!!
