The first time we hired Mr. Sparky to help with the installation of a tankless hot water heater and moving the basement switch up above the flood zone code requirement, Jay Fontes was very professional and did quality work. He always called before he arrived or if he run a little late. Then he explained how the work is going to be done and also his crew went over everything they had done once they were finished. The second time we hired this company was when we had a partial lost of power to our house. Jay came to do the assessment and found the problem right away then came to fix it in a timely fashion. We will continue to hire them for future jobs.

When I talked to the office I was told that if the problem was with the socket they would be able to replace that socket. After I agreed to pay almost $50 to have them come out I was told that they couldn t replace a socket and charge me almost $200 for 15 minutes of work checking wires and determining that the only problem was the socket. I never would have had them come out if I hadn t been given false information when I talked to the office.

The guy from MR Sparky was great. The cost was more than we’d hoped but he did a super job and uncovered things that could have been serious.

they tried to get me to pay $49 for the initial estimate and another $49 for the actual work, on top of the quote given... I think this is how the company makes money - seems that electricians are free agents. I could be wrong. Other than that, the professionalism, the quality, the knowledge - all there.

Found the problem right away. Recommended getting a new ceiling fan because the connection between the remote and the fan was not working properly. Should get a fan with pull cords/chains.
