Quick to do repair work

Ed and his staff are the best, they went above and beyond what a repairman would normally do. They repaired my popcorn ceiling, installed new drywall where necessary, painted the ceiling and the walls in the living room and dining room. They installed laminate in the living room and dining room, foyer and kitchen. Also, they Installed baseboards and corner rounds, moved appliances and furniture and cleaned up. My condo looks brand new.

I had them do multiple jobs, they pulled the carpeting up and put down Laminate. They painted three rooms and a hallway. Then they painted all the doors and heating vents. The house looks brand new I love it.

They did a nice job. Friendly and polite staff.

The first time I hired Ed and his Team he replaced all the carpet in our house with vinyl wood flooring. When his team finished the job, my wife and I loved the work he did, however, Ed was not satisfied with how our steps turned out, so he decided to redo the steps at no extra charge. Even though my wife and I loved the way they looked before, the final product was even more impressive and we were glad Ed convinced us to let him redo the steps. Ed and his Team are very professional, great to talk to and hard working. Since then we have hired Ed and his crew every time we need work done. Just last week, I called Ed to see if he replaced dryer venting, since ours was not up to code. He came out, took a look, and said it was something he and his guys could do. His crew came out Friday to start the job early in the morning and they were wrapping up the venting with all holes patched and primed by Saturday Evening. Early next week they came back to finish off the painting and everything looked brand new! Always impressed with his work! If you are looking for a contractor who puts quality first, is reasonably priced, and hardworking, give Ed a call!

The quality of the repair was above average. Crews worked evening and nights without regard to my schedule. I asked them to work days and they said they could not because they were working other jobs. As a consumer spending thousands, I would hope the communication from my contractors would not make me feel as if I was not a priority. I would rate lower but I do not want to tarnish their reputation.

Horrible experience. He sweet talks and he is a liar.

The work was done by a subcontractor. Although this was not the cheapest option, the quality of the work is very good.

About Ed Wolf Renovations: What should have been a 6-7-day project, took over 6 weeks! First, the van broke down; then a worker was sick; then there was another job that took priority over ours. Why did they take our job in the first place? They would say they would be here at a specified time and arrived 3 hours later. Half the time, they never showed up at all. The workmanship was below average. The work ethic from this company was horrible! They never took in consideration that we had things to do and did not feel comfortable leaving our garage door open when we were not home. We did not pay the last installment. We had to pay an electrician to fix an electric circuit that they messed up. And we paid for tiles because they did not have enough. All told, the company owed us $50. For these reasons, I can not recommend Ed Wolf Renovations.

We hired Eds team for a relatively small (~80 sq ft) bathroom remodel. The project was estimated to take 3 - 4 weeks, and ultimately took 5 months - none of the delays were due to unexpected extra work required. Ed created delays regularly with poor planning in regard to ordering items, and scheduling his crew. We regularly asked Ed to order materials early and cleared our garage for storage to accommodate. Ed regularly told us items had been ordered, and on more than one occasion directly lied to us (he later admitted as much) regarding the status of an order, stating he had ordered it weeks before he had. Ultimately the quality of the work was sub-par in places. The end result included uneven floor/shower tiles and grout which is significantly cracking less than a month after the installation. In some cases, multiple attempts were made to correct these simple issues, but they were never able to correct. To give credit where it is due, Eds team were all courteous and professional. Joe and Karma in particular are great guys. Unfortunately Ed typically had them working multiple jobs concurrently, and we did not get the attention or commitment to our job that Ed had initially promised. It seems that Ed does not have enough skilled laborers to manage the volume of work he is taking on. Additionally, Ed was regularly available by phone to answer our issues. In the end he acknowledged the repeated delays and waived his final payment. The gesture was appreciated, but simply covered the additional cost of boarding our dogs to allow his crew to work the additional days. We would previously hired Ed to paint and replace carpet, which he handled quickly and effectively. However, on a bigger job I would highly discourage people from hiring Ed. If you like Ed and want to hire him, INSIST on a schedule at the beginning of the job. We asked for this consistently throughout the job, and Ed always deflected saying I will get that to you Friday, while never delivering. Ultimately, we have had the majority of our house remodeled over the last 5 years and this was the worst experience we have had with a contractor.

They did an excellent job. Would hire them again.
