Joe and his gang did a great job. My boyfriend is very handy but this was one job he did not want to tackel himself. He wanted to hire a professional and we reviewed Angies list for possiblities. We called Joe and he came out to look at the driveway and gave us an estimate. We did not want a subcontractor. My boyfriend watched the work and was impressed with the work and the professionalism of the crew. The end result is exactly what we anticipated. We are both very pleased with the driveway. We would call Joe Connolly again. .

Joe was very professional from beginning to end - listened to what we wanted, made suggestions, communicated very well throughout the process. His quote wasn't the least expensive but we had confidence in his ability to deliver a quality product. And he did just that! The driveway looks even better than the last time we had it done 15 years ago by someone else. His workers were very friendly and courteous and worked very efficiently to complete the job.

Joe Connolly is an experienced professional who has much experience with resurfacing driveways. His crew was on time and their work which Joe personally oversees is very neat and clean. Almost no blacktop was on areas that were not intended. I'm interested to see how long this resurfacing will last but the installation and has been more than satisfactory.

I got several estimates, however, Connolly Paving came highly recommended from guys I work with. They had Joe and his crew replace their driveways years ago. He showed up on time, not only for the estimate, but for the demolition and then again for the paving. They were professional and courteous. Joe has a 5 year guarantee, but I'm sure I won't need it. The driveway looks great and I really couldn't be happier!

The entire experience was excellent! The estimate was accurate and there were no add-ons either in work or in price. The crew arrived exactly on time and introduced themselves, gave a brief run-down of what the process would be, and how long it could be expected to take. Crew were respectful of owner's property. They worked consistently from arrival to completion. The crew gave instructions on how to care for the new driveway and what the owner might experience in terms of tire marks, how to handle winter weather, etc. The work came with a guarantee. The crew were clean, personable, helpful, and respectful of the owner's property. Their tools and trucks and other equipment were well cared for. My brother and I laughed that maybe the trucks were cleaner than parts of our house at that moment. I mention this as an indicator that if a workman respects his tools and things he owns, he is likely to respect yours. Joe Connolly Paving gets a five-star rating from me. It was well earned and is well deserved. I would hire this company again anytime.

The workers arrived early in the morning, removed part of the driveway, prepared the outer parts for a thicker layer and resurfaced the rest. in about a half day, they completed the drive in a professional manor. they were clean and meticulous in all of the area surrounding the drive, gardens, sidewalk, and street in front of our home.

Excellent. Joe provided clear communication. He contacted us and provided an estimate in a timely manner. He completed the work within the time frame he specified, and he and his crew did an outstanding job on the prep work and resurfacing of our driveway. It has never looked so good!!! The job was done in one day and the work could not have been better.

Mr. Connolly returned our call right away and came to our home to give us a written description and price for the work. He gave us an approximate date when he would perform the work. He did not ask for any money down, but said we could pay him when the work was completed. He called a few days prior to starting the job. Joe and his men showed up on the appointed day and got to work. They finished the job in two days as promised. Joe provided a clear explanation of what he was going to do to certain areas to eliminate puddling.He and his men were professional, efficient and courteous. I originally contacted this company last Fall to resurface my driveway. I left a message and my phone call was returned that evening. I was provided an estimate at the time, however the owner informed me that the temperatures were getting too low to do it properly and that I would be recontacted in the Spring when the temps were okay to do the installation. True to his word, Joe Connolly did contact me again in the spring and we agreed to a mutually acceptable day to do the job. His crew arrived on time, completed the job in one day and Joe reviewed it with me prior to leaving that day. All in all, a great experience. I most appreciate that the communication was great all the way through the process and he did a quality job.

They were early and very considerate of my neighbors and the time of day. They explained how the day would go and they were perfect. When they left they took all of the trash and left me with absolutely nothing to do but enjoy my new driveway.

Job went great fro start to finish. Joe was prompt when giving the estimate and did the project when he said he would and completed on time. Joe returned phone calls in a timely manner. It was encouraging to see the owner actually working on the job site.

Joe was very professional as was his team that came to do the work. Because of the very positive Angie's List reviews, I did not compare his pricing with anybody else. I did think the price was a little high, but really am not sure. Joe and his team clearly make an effort to make the entire experience, from estimate to completion, very positive. In having many other services done at my home, I know that customer service and attitude are not often priorities for home service companies. Joe clearly gets it and it makes a difference.

My old driveway was in desperate need of being replaced and Joe and his crew did a terrific job. They were professional, punctual, reliable, and respectful, happy to answer questions. They were very careful during excavation and installation to the adjoining property, which included a sidewalk, garage apron, steps, garden ties, stone wall, and neighbor's lawn. We hired Joe Connolly Paving to replace our four car driveway that was 25 years old and in poor shape. Joe and the crew showed up exactly when they said they would and worked quickly, efficiently, and carefully. They put down tarps to protect paved walkways and were careful around our flowerbeds. They had the job done by the early afternoon, cleaned up everything and left us with a beautiful driveway! The edges of our driveway were newly expanded and the work crew made sure that the edges were neatly beveled and fit in perfectly with our existing gardens. We would hire these guys anytime!

We had several estimates for this job. We were pleased with Joe?s estimate. He recommended that we remove a portion of the driveway and resurface the remainder of the driveway. This would allow for improved drainage and be a cost effective solution. We scheduled the work and Joe was able to meet the schedule. He also explained the timing of the work. Joe supervised the crew throughout the process.Joe checked to assure that the drainage for the driveway was correct and everything was cleaned up after completion of the job. When he first came to the house to give me a quote he explained how he did driveways. On the first trip they dug up my driveway and widened it then put crushed stone down and then packed it. We then drove on it for a couple weeks packing it down further. On the second trip they came back repacked the crushed stone then put the first layer of black top down, steam rolled it then put the top layer down and did the same thing. Both times the crew showed up on time and were extremely friendly. They kept their equipment picked up and clean near the driveway. Everyone including the owner were professional at all times. I would highly recommend them to family friends & neighbors and would have them return anytime.
