Description of Work: They refinished 2 rooms and laid new unfinished hardwood in 2 rooms and a bathroom and then finished it to match the other rooms. They had a lot of patching and repairing to do on the original floor as well. The floors look fabulous. I would highly recommend them.

Description of Work: I had purchased a house that required new hardwood floors. I called Calabrese about the possibility of doing the flooring between the time of closing and moving in. I had used this company many years ago and had been very pleased. Again they were willing to be extremely accommodating. Unfortunately, the deal for the house fell through because the seller was unable to provide a clear title. I would definitely use this company if the house I find requires new floors.

+ 0 moreCame to give an estimate on time as arranged. But he was the only one who couldn't produce an estimate. Another contractor eventually did an excellent job right on an estimate.
Description of Work: Came to give an estimate for hardwood floor sanding and refinishing. Unlike other hardwood floor contractors, said that he cannot give the estimate until the rooms are cleared of the furniture an things moved there for remodeling in the other parts of the house.

+ 1 moreIt was a difficult job to plan and to execute, but the Calabrese men installed beautiful flooring and solved the problems our house presented.
Description of Work: Installed bamboo flooring on two stairwells, a hallway and one room. Leveled damaged floors in the living and dining rooms and installed carpet. Removed old vinyl tile and installed ceramic tile in one bathroom and the entry hall.

+ -1 moreCrew was very friendly and helpful. Did a few extras at no additional cost. They were not extremely careful about dust control, but not bad. The floors were thin and in bad shape, but they were very careful and the results are excellent. They were more responsive than others I called and more professional than my previous floor refinisher. There was no contract with detailed scope, (quote on business card) so a prejob briefing was required, but no problems.
Description of Work: Refinished approx 500 sq ft of hardwood floors. Replaced multiple damaged floor boards. Installed molding around rooms. Installed four threshold reducers.

+ -1 morePaul's team of three men worked quickly and thoroughly. Their many years of experience made it possible for our floors to be restored to their original beauty. Even though we had to move all our furniture around and pack things away, they did the floors in two phases over four consecutive days and we could still sleep in our own bed at home every night but one. We will be having our kitchen tiled next and we will most likely have this same company install it.
Description of Work: They completely refinished our oak wood floors in five rooms and two hallways.

+ 0 morePaul was great! He was very professional and on time for every meeting and was very responsive when we called to schedule the appointment. The floors look beautiful and the crew even fixed the very loud creaking floor boards as much as they could (without us asking!) We would definitely use them again and highly recommend Calabrese flooring.
