 + 0 moreIt was excellent. I had no problems with him at all. He did a great job. He was very professional. He came to do an estimate when he said he would and he came back when he said he would. He did a wonderful job. He cleaned up after himself. He was wonderful.
Description of Work: I used Backyard Medic to take down the old fence and he brought a new fence and put it up. He also cut down some bushes.

Description of Work: I did not use this provider. Unfortunately the section of fence he was going to replace was later destroyed (the remaining sections)by a large tree that fell in our yard during an ice storm in Feb. We have removed the fence and have not replaced it.

He did all of the usual right things that a contractor should--arrived on time, completed the job quickly and to high standards, etc. But he went beyond that. During our initial consultation, my fidgety 3-year-old was with me. Ben had brought an iPad with him to show us examples of his work, but he then opened up a game and handed the tablet to my daughter so that she could be entertained while we continued our meeting. While this may not highlight Ben's skill as a contractor (though the quality of the fence absolutely does), it made a piece of the whole process so much more comfortable and easy. As a separate thumbs up, I happend to have a handywoman working on a separate job at the same time Ben was installing the fence. The two of them got along so well--and she was so impressed with his work--that she has now struck up a business relationship with him.
Description of Work: Installed a small fence in a portion of my yard (adjacent to a doggie door). It was difficult to find a fencing company that was willing to do a job as small as I needed, so I was thrilled to find Ben.
