Contacted them through Angie's List. There was some confusion about getting the estimate, but they apologized. Very professional and got us the estimate when we asked for it.

Linder Lawn has reasonable prices and when work is performed do a reasonably good job. The difficulty I've had with them has to do with scheduling, and showing up. They seem like good folks, but professionally, they left me with the impression that they are funcitoning just a little beyond their capacity. I stopped using them because they didn't show up on the dates they committed to, and I had to call them and remind them. My job should have been fairly easy. I have a small yard. If they had continued to work reliably, they would of had a fairly easy income from my property, but because I couldn't depend on them, I wound up doing the yard work myself, as best I could.

They called back right away, which is a plus for yard work (most contractors won't even call back). From first request to completion took awhile, but did a good job.

We are very interested in using them. Their quote seemed fair and they had good ideas. I only met with them for about an hour but they seemed very professional.

The Linder team are lovely people and easy to work with. They promptly returned all calls and were excellent communicators. They installed a basic back yard landscape that will grow over time - great for people who want some opportunity for DIY work but don't have the time or skill to do it all. They welcome your ideas and are very comfortable working those into the design. Great family oriented business - our toddler was so impressed by them and they were happy humoring him as they worked. Finished product looks great and we will look forward to having them help us build on this work when spring comes.

They were wonderful but they are from the other side of town so it was not worth their while. For me the prices were too high but they were wonderfully attentive and they would have been a great company to employ. But I think I need to live on the other side of town. I would consider them in the future. I enjoyed getting to know them and their company.

Very good work, they worked for about 3 days, very satisfied with the outcome. cost was half of other estimates.

The quote they gave me was very nice. It was provided through email, which I really liked. I still haven’t decided if I’ll go through with the work, but Linder was very professional.

We hired Linder about two years ago because he was cheap and did a competent job. He has also trimmed our hedges each summer. It seems that he has gotten too popular and is now not as reliable. He seems to be restricting the area, and I got a call this week in which he said we weren't going to be able to get his service any more. They weren't always the most careful with what they cut, but they were cheap, but the fact that they haven't trimmed the hedges nearly a month after they said they would, and then all of a sudden dropped us mid season has prompted me to give them a low grade.

I contacted Linder Lawn to get an estimate for replacement of our front lawn. It took a bit of rescheduling, but eventually we had an appointment for a Thursday morning. The estimator was right on time, and proved to be very knowledgeable. She took measurements and described our various options to us. In all, the appointment lasted under 15 minutes. Later that day, we had a full, written estimate delivered via email. The cost of the work in general was out of our price range at the time, but if we ever change our minds, we'll be sure to call Linder again.

This company has fabulous customer service! Returned calls and emails promptly, kept us in the loop whenever rain caused a delay, let us know what steps were coming up, worked very well with our pretty explicit design ideas, etc. Additionally, they did much more cleanup than we expected -- they policed the entire area around where they worked before leaving on the last day, not just the area in which they specifically worked. Additionally, the price quoted was very good for the amount and quality of work they did. We have already sent their website to several friends, as we would not hesitate to recommend them and use them again.

Representative came out to house and we went over the work to be done. They were going to email an estimate. As of 6/27/2011, we have not received an estimate or any other communication. Very disappointing. On 6/28, we received an email with an estimate and an apology for delay. We decided to use a different company.

They were fabulous. mr Linder was quick to respond and even quicker to give a very reasonable estimate. His crew was great. They arrived At scheduled time and worked tirelessly. We are so pleased with the result and will certainly use them in the future!

The job went well from start to finish. John came to give me an estimate and met me to discuss what I wanted done. I explained the problems that I have (moss, shady areas, bare spots), and that I didn't want to spend a ton of money on something like a total lawn replanting. I also have a fenced in back yard, which is for my dog, and that I didn't want to have any fertilizers or chemicals applied to the grass in that area. John was understanding and explained the limitations of what could be done. It took a little while to get the contract from John, but he proceeded with work soon after I signed it. I wasn't home the day they performed the work, but my wife and neighbor said that John and his crew worked hard and were professional. Although I didn't get another estimate (I couldn't find too many people in my area that do aerating, mostly lawn maintenance/mowing), I definitley think the price was fair. The lawn is growing in as well as can be expected. I would use John Linder Lawn & Landscape again.

John Linder and his wife arrived to do an estimate. They were very friendly and eager to do a good job on the wall. Their estimate was very fair, so we hired them. As soon as the weather was reasonably good, John showed up with a small crew. Each day they were here they worked for most of the day, and accomplished a lot. Fortunately, there were no real complications with our job, and they finished well within the time-frame we expected. The wall looks fantastic, and we will probably be hiring them to do some additional landscaping.

I e-mailed John to give me an estimate on a retaining wall. Amazingly I got a call back in 10 minutes and he was at my house within the hour! He heard what I had to say and took measurments. I got a detailed proposal in the mail the next day. He was very courteous, professional and I could tell that he would've done a fine job on this wall. I had to go in another direction however because my yard has serious drainage issues which required the expertise of a landscaping engineer and will need new drains and catch basins installed. This may or may not be beyond John's capabilties, but I wanted to hire an expert in this area to do the work. However, for regular landscaping and hardscaping needs, I would not hesitate to call John. I believe this is a top-notch company that does outstanding work.

We called LInder, who got back to me after a few days and they sent someone over to get an estimate. After what I believed to be a fair price for the job needed ( grass/weed/tree trimming) I told them to go ahead and perform the job. They did not require supervision. They simply called when the work was done. I confirmed with my tenant, who was very pleased. The B ratings are my grade for a general job well done. I try to reserve A's for something outstanding, but I would definitely call linder again.

They are very professional and are very kind. When they come out they are always on time. I would highly recommend them.

They came reliably every week or so as needed. The grass looked great all summer. At first my elderly friend was a little afraid of the strange men in her yard -- but after a few times she spoke very highly of them. They were always very polite and professional.

We continue to be pleased with John's and his crew's work.

The job was done very well. Initially Amanda Linder came and took all the dimensions and had everything exactly how we wanted. John and another worker were very friendly and polite. They were courteous and very informative and answered our questions. They listened to our concerns. They had put in one part of the fence and I did not care for how it looked, they changed it without a problem. We also had the fence initially go to the back alley, we then realized that I could not see when I came out the garage. John came right out and shortened the fence so that I could see for no charge.
