Description of Work: This process was challenging, but it was me. Amanda was quickly responsive to my request for a estimate. She was patient as I waffled on what I wanted done. Ultimately, a four person team showed up early, led by Vaughn, showed up and went above and beyond! I was more than pleased. I am not embarrassed to be seen in my yard anymore...

Description of Work: Work was scheduled and first payment made, but had to be cancelled due to problems with the company's equipment and the fact that they wouldn't be able to reschedule until spring. They promptly returned our deposit. This company was very pleasant to deal with and responded within reasonable time frames when contacted about anything. Unfortunately, we had to go with another company only because it was very important for us to have this job completed before winter.

Description of Work: Removed old mulch, weeded, and re mulched front yard

Description of Work: Created new edging, added fresh topsoil and grass seed wher new lawn was to be established, sprayed and cut plant overgrowth from the back of yard, removed weeds and ornamental grasses and old fabric that was under old mulch.

Description of Work: I needed some retaining walls replaced. Mrs. Linder came to check out the job. She was very nice and appeared very knowledgable about the business. I explained the walls on the lower level had to be completely replaced, but there was a smaller area on the upper level that needed attention as well. The original walls were done in railroad ties, and I wanted to continue using that material. She informed me they only work in cement block. Her quote was fair. Because I intended to put my house on the market, I was eager to have the work done as soon as possible; and so, I put aside my objections o the cement block and asked her to send a contract. Looking it over, everything appeared to be in order, EXCEPT the upper wall repair wasn't referenced. I gave her the benefit of the doubt, signed the contract and sent my deposit, along with a note that she seemed to have forgotten to include the upper wall. It wasn't until a subsequent phone call, that I learned her husband [who does the work] wasn't interested in doing the upper wall. "When were you going to tell me?" I felt that information should have been disclosed before she sent the contract and took my check. To her credit, she offered to invalidate the contract and refund my money, which is what we did.

Description of Work: They mowed my mother's lawn even when she was no longer living there. They also trimmed some bushes. |

Description of Work: Replaced leaning concrete wall on the side of the front lawn.

Description of Work: Removed renmants of a collapsed retaining wall from one side of my driveway,dug and established a new footer base,reinstalled the concrete blocks with proper drainage and backfill.

Description of Work: I emailed 4 landscaping companies that are recommended by Angie's List. Amanda not only responded quickly, she was the only one that responded! She set up an appointment and explained everything very clearly. Unfortunately she was so busy (a good thing!) that we would have had to wait too long. But she was great and I would definitely use her in the future.

Description of Work: They come on a weekly basis for lawn cutting.

Description of Work: Called and spoke with Amanda who stated they were located on the South Side and that to come North of Pgh. the work would need to be a minimum of $400 not a great conversation. Felt she just did not want to come the the neighborhood I live.
