It went well. There were a few confusing situations resulting from the shoddy work done many years ago by others that was not up to code, but they did it in a reasonable amount of time. They kept me apprised of what they were doing and why, which was also helpful.

I'm glad we did this as it makes a significant improvement.

I was faced with an emergency at a unit and a tight work schedule, but Rich rearranged some things to work within my limited schedule and emergency. Excellent, Rich was able to show up on short notice (1 day) since my current Electrician had an emergency. He was prompt, courteous, and professional. I would hire Rich again for any work electricial work.

Rich bailed me out by making a short-notice visit to keep us on schedule for municipal inspection of our reconstructed porch. While he was here, he rewired some of our kitchen switches to allow more options in selecting lights to turn on or off, and quickly installed a new outlet in the bathroom. During their two visits Rich and his workman were friendly without being overly chatty, while working efficiently and leaving no mess. I really appreciate his scheduling flexibility and also the promptness of his response to texts. Would definitely recommend him for prompt quality work. I like the simplicity of his business model - no fuss, work done directly by him and not a nameless crew, clearly a professional who knows his stuff. Would make three suggestions: 1) name the Angie's listing something besides "Electrician" because it's difficult to pick this company out from the rest of the listings; 2) announce labor rate up front; 3) confirm precise location for installed fixtures. Although the two new outlets are installed in the areas we discussed, it was clear after the fact that we different ideas about where the exact best place would have been. The locations are okay, and will not be a problem; perhaps a lesson for me next time.

Rich Apolito and his assistant, Vince, showed up on time. Both were extremely pleasant and professional. I had questions and concerns regarding some electrical issues. I also wanted to make sure my home was to code. They checked the plug receptacles. Several GFCI plugs needed replaced. A switch to ceiling fan was replaced to make it work again. My doorbell and the electrical box in the home was replaced. When examining the breaker box, Rich found one switch which needed replaced to bring box to code. Apparently, Comcast had used one of their universal switches which won't pass an inspection (beware). They explained how certain switches in a room corresponded to different plugs. I have to say, they were very patient with me, as I got quite an education on electrical wiring. I feel confident that I am living in an electrically sound home now, thanks to Rich and Vince and their many years of experience. It was a pleasure to have them in my home, and I will call them again if I ever need electricians again. I highly recommend.

It was a simple job and it went really well. Rich and his coworker were nice, knowledgeable and professional. It took them not even 10 minutes to trouble shoot and replace the switch. Unfortunately the color doesn't match. They offered to go to Lowe's and get a switch with a matching color but that undoubtedly would've added to the cost. This means that I still have to switch it at some point. My only suggestion would be to stock up his truck with the basic supplies better.

Excellent. Rich Apolito showed up on time and solved my basic problem in less than 15 minutes. A previous contractor was unable to fix the problem in three hours. He was courteous, friendly, professional and competent. He was also able to fix problems left by the previous contractor within 1 hour. I will certainly call him for future electrical problems.
