They were very prompt and called me to review in detail their inpsection of my home, what need done immediately and then the overall process of pointing the bricks. They even reviewed how the bricks were set farther apart in this older home that what you see in newer homes. They also told me how they would map out a line to seperate my home from the other row homes and how an issue on one of my neighbors home could affect my home. Very nice to work with and I would recommend them and I would certainly call them again.

Very professional service. Mr. Perry inspected the outside of the house and walked through the areas that he believed needed to be re-pointed. His price was comparable to or better than others that we called in for estimates. The re-pointing looks good too, as his company matched the mortar well. Overall, very satisfied.

We were very satisfied. They did a great job, they were very professional, they were very personable. They cleaned up after themselves pretty well.

I did not use his services. I contracted with another provider whose estimate came in at a lower cost and whose recent work I was able to view. Perry Masonry was timely in their initial response and submission of their estimate. I would consider them for future work.

He called me to let me know what he found when he inspected the chimney and was very thorough in explaining the issues. Unfortunately, he explained that the repairs needed a bricklayer and he did not do that type of work. I was very impressed with his fast response to my call and appreciated him taking the time to explain his findings even though he could not do the work. I would definitely recommend him and would not hesitate to hire him for future projects.

They were fine. They got here and did the work efficiently. They were done in one day. They could have done a better job cleaning up, but everything looks good. They were exactly on time.

Ed and his crew showed up fairly early in the morning. I originally thought it was too much to get completed in one day. The three of them were incredibly efficient and had the entire house done before I knew it. The color matched the existing mortar perfectly. I highly recommend Ed and crew. The price was excellent and the work looks outstanding!

These guys are great. They have done both tuck pointing on the house and repair on a long stone wall for us and both jobs were excellent. They are polite, reasonable, prompt, and really good at what they do - we get many compliments on the work from people that walk by. They cleaned up after the job every day and took the time to walk us through their work every day, explaining their choices. I definitely recommend them!

Ed and his team did a great job of addressing all problem areas. We were very pleased with the matching of the mortar color. Ed and his team even pointed the entire front porch, which is the focal point of the house. We really appreciated that they did this because only part of the porch really needed pointed, but to keep a consistent look they did the entire area. It blends so well that you can't even detect it was pointed. Ed and his team also dug down along the foundation to ensure they pointed the bottom row of bricks to address the eroded mortar caused by water damage. Not only did Ed and his team do a great job with the pointing, but he also recommended contractors for other work that we planned to address. We did use his recommendation of Ron Fisher to remove a brick banister and re-lay some bricks along the front of the house. We were very pleased with the job. We would certainly recommend Ed and his team to anyone looking to do pointing and would use him again in the future.

I called Perry Masonry and left a message requesting an evaluation and estimate for repointing brick areas on my home. Mr. Perry called back and said he'd be in my area for the next two days and would come by. He called in the evening of the day he did his site visit to let me know that the brick areas were not yet in a state that would call for repointing. He said that the decorative wing wall was losing mortar because its original construction was not ideal for its specific location. The wall was nearly 80 years old and was beginning to waver. It was his opinion that it would continue to do so and lose mortar over the years until it eventually failed because of the poor design for the location; and that when it fails the wall could be rebuilt correctly, if desired. He stated that did he not do bricklaying and thus did not give me an estimate for any work to be done at this time.

It went very well. They showed up as expected and did the promised work. The owner and his two workers were friendly and professional. Site was cleaned up very satisfactorily. We are very pleased with the work on both the stoop and the chimney. It is such an improvement! Also, new mortar color is an exact match to the existing mortar

He went above and beyond. The initial quote was to REPAIR the pillars, after beginning the work, he ended up REPLACING pillars at no cost above the initial quote. He was very professional and very easy to work with. I would recommend him to anyone.

He was very good. He was reasonable. He was cheaper than some of the companies that were below him. I was very satisfied with him.

This was how you hope all of your transactions would go. Perry did a great job, delivered as promised, gave a fair and accurate bid and cleaned up the area well. This is the company you want to do your walls, but you better hurry, he was talking about retiring.

They were very professional. They did a complete estimate and was very thorough. The work he did matched up with what he told me he was going to do. What they did was quality work. The cleanup was good, they didn't leave any mess. He did everything he was going to do. He showed me all the work that he did to make sure I was happy with it. He gave me some tips on getting brick sealers for sealing the brick. More of a professional material than the stuff you would get at Home Depot, he gave me some advice on that.

Ed Perry returned my phone call requesting a quote within two days. He examined the house within a week. He later called to discuss the work to be done in detail over the phone. His bid was half the cost of another Angie's list A rated spot pointer. He said it was a one day job to be done within four weeks. Three weeks later he called to select the day. He showed up with 3 workers and did a good job.

Ed is awesome. Color matches mortar. Is super-price competitive. Doesn't do work that doesn't need doing. Extremely honest. Compare prices and he's going to be competitive if not lowest. His work itself can't be beat. Just sold house and home inspectors were really impressed with the work. he doesn't take shortcuts (properly cuts in instead of just slapping on mortar). a real mason and a real professional.

Mr. Perry came to my aid when an unscrupulous contractor did a horrible job which was supposed to be repointing a chimney but looked more like someone took mortar and smeared it all over the bricks. Mr. Perry and his crew managed to remove this mess and repointed first one chimney and then several weeks later the other. They did a fantastic job and the chimneys look great.

Work was completed promptly and professionally. The entire job, including set up and removal of scaffold was completed in 2 days. The pointing work looks clean and thorough. The chimney cap now functions correctly. Since it was repaired, we no longer have water entering the basement via the chimney in heavy rains. Mr. Perry also took time before the job to explain duration and work to be completed as well as time after to explain what was done, which was appreciated.

Mr. Perry was responsive and professional. He did a great job. Actually, after the repaired the chimney, we did have some water come in the house. I called him and he came out right away, went back up and worked on the chimney again. From then on we didn't have any other issues.

I wasn't super impressed. He seemed like he was in a hurry and didn't seem too interested in it. Other people came and talked to me about what was going on in my house and what needed to be done. He didn't even come when we were home or didn't tell us when he came. He just kind of told me over the phone and that was it. He was definitely the cheapest, but I wasn't very encouraged and he really didn't seem to care if I was his customer. If you just want super cheap and you don't really care if they talk you through it or discuss things with you then I guess that's your guy.

Perry Masonry did an excellent job repairing my top cap. The job was done when scheduled before the weather turned. I'm very pleased with the repairs I received and the price and I would use Perry Masonry again when needed.

The company did not respond to my initial email, but did respond promptly a few days later when I called and left a message. From the moment he came out for the initial estimate, Ed Perry was open and honest, even when giving bad news. He worked with me every step of the way, keeping informed of what was being done and what was needed. He and his workers showed up when they said they would and completed the job as quickly and efficiently as possible considering weather conditions. Most importantly, the quality of the work is top-notch. It ended up costing a good bit more than I had hoped, but I am confident that the work they did will last longer than I will.
