They never did work for me

Jim English and his team were great to work with and did an outstanding job updating our kitchen. We came to them with a limited budget and they were respectful of our numbers, and worked extensively with us to provide us several layout options that were in our target price range. We ended-up going a little higher than initially expected, but could have forgone the solid-surface counter-tops or the addition of a breakfast-bar and been back at our original number. Fred, the contractor assigned to coordinate/perform installation, also did great, professional work - was on-time, efficient, trustworthy, and easy to talk to. He was also flexible with our flooring contractor. One more thing: these guys are good at communicating over both phone and e-mail, which we really appreciated.

We paid a small figure for them to come out, take dimensions and provide the design information to the kitchen designer. It was excellent. They did that very well. They were totally professional, experienced and knew their area of expertise very well. They were a bit expensive. Some of the things they identified should keep me out of trouble.

Sales experience was great. Project started on time but was delayed many times for dependencies on sub contractors and their own people. Very good demolition and roughing in the new bathroom. The project took 4 months when it was estimated at 8 weeks. I expected some delays but doubling the amount of time was not expected. The drywalling was poor and NOT professional. I had the foreman on the job bring back his team several times and it was still not done to my satisfaction. I brought in another contractor to estimate fixing the drywall and to repair a hardwood floor they had damaged. The contractor I had hired and the salesman at North Shore both noted what a poor job they had done.

The work they did was great. It just took them along time to finish. They started in October, and didn't finish till Christmas.

I bought all my material and they just did the installation. They installed the dish washer, cabinets, counter tops, and the trim. Everything that they did was fine. But the counter top people misled me a little bit. Price wise I did not compare it to anybody other than do the self install and I could not get enough people together to do that. It seems fair. It certainly did not seems outrageous. Punctuality wise they were usually here even before I was awake. I will use them again.

The cost of the sketch would have been applied to the cost of the remodel which I didn't have a chance to get. Their professionalism stood out, they appeared to be very, very knowledgable about what they were doing. They spent an hour and a a half here taking measurements and taking pictures and making suggestions. They did do sketches for the renovation which were very good. They seem to know what they are doing. They stayed in contact and emailed me the finished product which was very conventioneer for me. They also sent the sketch to the company where I was going to order the cabinets which tells me they did want the job when I decided to do the actual remodel. I will eventually get a quote for the actual remodel.

We bought the cabinets. Our experience with them so far has been excellent. They improved the design of our kitchen. They had some real nice input and we did rearrange our kitchen slightly after they came out and did the measurement with the quote. They were very responsive. They came out the next day after we talked to them. Their punctuality was very good. Their professionalism was very high. I have to see after they get the kitchen installed but right now I would say that I would use them in the future. As of now they are very high on my list.

Very well! LESCARE is a top notch, professional outfit that delivers what it says it will on-time and within budget. The design was an iterative one and Jim was very responsive. The building started on time and was well coordinated with the delivery of the cabinets, plumbing and countertops. The building and cabinets did take a little longer than was planned but nothing out of the ordinary. One cabinet was the wrong size and had to be reordered, but caused no delays in the finish. I'd rate Lescare an A and the contractor B+.

I've had a long term business relationship with the owner of the company. I've always been very pleased with the work that he's done. We would absolutely use them again for more work in the future.

Met with Jim English based on a recommendation from an architect friend. He came to our house, designed a new kitchen layout and provided choices in cabinets, sinks, appliances, countertops and floors. The existing kitchen was demoed (including 4 layers of flooring, metal cabinets, etc. New kitchen installed. The work took about 6 weeks from start to finish as promised. To lessen the pain of putting in a new kitchen, a temporary sink was put in and dishwasher installed as soon as cabinets were in. Not nearly as painful as I had feared.
