Description of Work: I had my attics insulated, the attic access door upgraded, and a bathroom exhaust fan vented through the roof. They were quick with communication and follow up, came to conduct a survey of the job within days of initial contact, and provided a written estimate within days after the visit. They were also able to schedule the work to be done very quickly. They provided good information about their product and talked through with me exactly what I wanted done and what they thought needed to be done. No high pressure, but very informative and helpful. The men who actually performed the work were punctual, professional, and they cleaned up thoroughly before leaving. It hasn't been long enough to know if the product will provide the desired results, but, based on the professional experience I had with the company, I have high hopes that it will.

Description of Work: They did an insulation air leak test, and successfully identified many sources of airflow that could be compromising the effectiveness of the insulation I've installed in our house. | |They were very understanding and responsive to my preference to DIY most of the jobs, and were happy to talk with me about what I could do myself and what they could do for us in order to be economical and effective. Very satisfied; will recommend them to friends.

 + -1 moreWe saw them at the home show in 2006. We had an estimate done that was broken into 2 parts - roof only and then roof with all walls, which we thought was very helpful. Man who did the estimate was prompt, polite, and answered all of our questions. A few months later, we scheduled the insulation work. It took the crew of 2 men 4 days to complete. They were quick, thorough (took special care to make sure our cats didn't get outside when they were coming and going), cleaned up after themselves (except that they left cigarette butts around the perimeter of the house). We were very pleased with the work and the service.
Description of Work: Mincin insulated a 3 story house including roof with cellulose insulation.

 + -1 moreIt went well. It took 3 days. These kinds of jobs are always a little messy, but we knew that in advance. They blew in A LOT of insulation- it is ground up- and treated paper that is blown into the attic (loosely) and into the walls (tightly) via holes in the outside wall covering (which in our case was wood slats). They also fixed problems that they encountered, such as bathroom vents that had to be vented to the outside (and not just into the attic).
Description of Work: Insulate attic and walls of a very old duplex.

 + -1 moreTHEY WERE FANTASTIC! THEY WORKED FROM THE MINUTE THEY GOT THERE UNTIL THE MINUTE THEY LEFT. THEY WERE HONEST AND PUNCTUAL. THEY ARE VERY THOROUGH. THE SUPERVISOR WAS THERE TO CHECK EVERYTHING. THEY ACTUALLY COMPLETED THE JOB EARLY. THE JOB CAME IN UNDER THE ESTIMATED COST AND THEY ADJUSTED IT SO THAT WE DID NOT HAVE TO PAY THE ORIGINAL ESTIMATED AMOUNT. THEY MADE OTHER SUGGESTIONS THAT WE COULD MAKE IN ORDER TO SAVE ON OUR HEATING BILL. WE FOUND THEM ON ANGIE'S LIST .

 + -1 moreOVERALL EXPERIENCE WAS GOOD. THEY WERE LATE BOTH DAYS, ABOUT .5 HR AND 1 HR, FIRST DUE TO GETTING LOST AND SECOND TO THEIR TRUCK BREAKING DOWN.
Description of Work: HAD THE WHOLE HOUSE INSULATED, INCLUDING THE GARAGE CEILING. NOT THE ATTIC, ALREADY DONE. MATT THE MAN WHO GAVE THE ESTIMATE ANSWERED ALL MY QUESTIONS, AND I HAD A LOT. HE WAS VERY NICE. GAVE ME REFERENCES. I DID CALL 2 AND THEY WERE POSITIVE. THEY WERE AT MY HOUSE FOR 2 DAYS. IT IS MESSY. THEY DID CLEAN UP SOME, BUT WE WERE LEFT WITH A LOT TO CLEAN UP IN THE HOUSE. THEY FORGOT TO FILL 2 HOLES IN THE MORTAR AND AFTER I CALLED THEM THEY CAME THE NEXT DAY.

 + -1 moreTHIS WAS A GREAT COMPANY. THEIR PRICE WAS REALLY LOW COMPARED TO OTHER COMPANY'S, AND THEY HAD STELLAR REFERENCES. I'M GLAD I HAD THEM DO THE WORK. THEY WERE POLITE, NEAT, AND ENJOYABLE TO WORK WITH. THEY EXPLAINED THE ENTIRE PROCESS, AND WHY CELLULOSE IS SUCH A GOOD PRODUCT TO USE, AND LEFT SOME GREAT LITERATURE ABOUT INSULATION IN GENERAL, AND CELLULOSE. THEY ALSO LEFT A 6 PAGE LIST OF REFERENCES, SOME OF WHICH WENT BACK 8 YEARS (THE PEOPLE I CALLED WERE ALL VERY SATISFIED, EVEN AFTER SEVERAL YEARS). THEY ALSO CAME OUT TO DO A TEST DRILL ON THE OUTSIDE OF MY BRICK, TO SEE IF IT WOULD BE DAMAGING TO THE LOOK OF THE HOUSE. WE DECIDED TO BLOW IN THE INSULATION FROM THE INSIDE OF THE HOUSE, BECAUSE OF POTENTIAL BRICK DAMAGE. I WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY.
