Mike was very professional. He showed up with a helper. They got three to work. They did a great job. They completely changed the look of my kitchen and made it way nicer. They did a great job cleaning the gutters too. They were very clean. He books up fast because he is so good. If one has a work for him that they need to get done, he schedules pretty far in advance. I would recommend calling him early. The price is spot on and fair. I had called him for another work; but he was busy, so I had to call someone else.

Called in March to see if Mike would do some work on my house. He finally came out 4/13/13 and looked at the work: replacing some gutter downspouts, and replacing a damaged sheet of drywall. He said he'd get back to me with a quote. Never heard back for weeks, and finally, on 6/6/13, called and left a message. Today, 6/10/13, a woman (not Mike) called back. She said they'd lost my contact information, which is why they hadn't contacted me earlier. She said that Mike said the work was too complicated and they couldn't do it. Wasted 3 months. Now will have to find someone new. While he's too busy to take new work, and sounds like he does good work, he shouldn't have strung me along like this.

This is the second job McClelland Home Maintenance did for us. Work is done in a timely fashion with an aim for perfection. Very pleased with results of both jobs.

Mike was great to deal with from the day he came to give me an estimate. He was timely in providing me with the cost estimate, quick to respond to my questions, and scheduled the work around my work schedule. His crew and he were punctual, polite, and very professional while working at my house. They did a great of job of tearing down the old storage shed, the side walls of the patio, and installing replacement posts. And did a great job of cleaning up. I will definitely have them back at my house for any future jobs.

I called for an estimate for a few small jobs around my duplex on Wednesday, May 1st in the afternoon and left a message. I was really happy to have received a call back within five minutes. I then scheduled an appointment to have an estimate done on Saturday, May 4th at noon. On Saturday, no one ever showed up and when I tried calling, no one answered. I left a message Saturday afternoon and now, on Wednesday the 8th, I still haven't heard back.

Mike came to my house about a day after I called him for an estimate. He was on-time, very professional, and was the lowest of the four bids that I received. He was able to quickly schedule a date to do the project (within a week) and completed it within two days. He and his crew were punctual, professional and did a great job. I'm very happy with how the project turned out. Mike has done work for me in the past and I would definitely hire him again for future projects. I've already recommended him to friends and family. The contractor we were working with to replace two bathrooms and a powder room and lay hardward floors couldn't finish those pesky last minute items before an annual Christmas party we host every year. After almost a year of remodeling, I really, really, really wanted the house DONE! I started making phone calls on a Tuesday for work to be done that same week. I left a message for Mike McClelland of McClelland Home Maintenance and he called me back almost immediately. He apologized that he couldn't fit me in that week, but that he was booked up. He offered another time, but it wasn't convenient for my needs. If we had another case for a handyman bid, I would ask him because of his responsiveness and professionalism.

Extremely well from start to finish. He contacted me right away and submitted the estimate in a timely manner. He was flexible and he was here to complete the job two days after I hired him. He was professional and cared about the work that he was doing. He was tidy and cleaned up after himself. Highly recommended.

Mike and his crew were professional and prompt throughout the estimate and work. He was flexible in agreeing to use tile that I found at Construction Junction (even after the original quote) and in integrating some of the existing recovered tile from our bathroom to help the repair blend in with the bathroom as a whole. It was a tricky job working with unmatched tile and he and his assistants did a great job. Gas line also went in without a hitch. Completely cleaned up after themselves.

Faxed Mike McCllelland the information concerning the job that I needed done. I followed up a day later with a phone call. Mike said that he would be out evaluate the job and give me an estimate on Saturday and that he would e-mail the estimate to me. I received the e-mail on Sunday evening during the Super Bowl. I felt that the estimate was reasonable and I called Mike on Monday morning to confirm a date when the work could be completed. Mike stated that his crew could do the job on Wednesday. His crew showed up on time and completed the work within several hours. I was completely satisfied with the professional manner in which both Mike and his crew conducted themselves and the expert manner in which they completed the job. I would definitely hire Mike and his crew in the future.

Our job involved installing an interior door, putting on the trim & painting it. Mike & his assistant did a good job and finished earlier than we expected. My schedule makes it difficult for me to call & schedule appointments like this, but Mike's assistant was very proactive in calling me back & working with my schedule, which I appreciate. He was able to do the job within a week or so of when I called, too. Overall, he was easy to work with & did good work.

The guys showed up on time & were very clean, moved everything to basement every evening. They worked fast & finished in a few days. Also, had a light fixture and faucet switched out. I was happy with the job they did so scheduled painting of my living room & dining room for the following week. Would use them in the future.

Great experience with Mike. My initial phone calls were quickly returned and he came and gave me a written estimate before starting the work. I accepted his bid, as he was able to start the work the next day due to a cancellation. He showed up on time and he and his assistant spent about 6.5 hours making the needed repairs and painting the ceiling so that it looked like new. I'm very happy with the quality of the work and would definitely hire Mike again for other projects.

After we had agreed upon a date and time, Mike and his assistant arrived and completed the work promptly on both occasions. The first visit they painted and did patchwork on the foundation on the front of my house, installed a new window air conditioner and a lock on my downstairs bathroom door. On the second visit, Mike installed a dimmer switch in the dining room and his assistant hung pictures and blinds in two bedrooms. Mike and his staff did good work and were personable and professional. I intend to use them again.

Mike McClelland is a pro! The guy takes off his shoes or has cloth bonnets on, so he does not mark up the floors or carpeting. I made a call to him on a Tuesday, and he was over at my residence the following day with a detailed estimate for the scope of work. Mike adjusted his schedule, got the work done in just a few days, so I could surprise my wife with a new tiled bathroom tub and shower. The previous person who did the work was nothing but a hack. I spent the $26.00 on Angie's List and found Mike McClelland of McClelland Home Maintenance and could not be happier! Mike pays very close attention to detail, and after he completed the interior work in the bathroom, I had him replace an old exterior wooden door and trim. Once again, Mike did a great job in a timely fashion. There is no question I would use his services again, and so should you!

In the end, Mike installed a drip edge, replaced my storm door, replaced my porch lights, and stripped my flooring/subfloor and replaced with new, and reinstalled my trim inside and outside the house. I am enjoying my new, sturdy floor and knowing that no water is seeping into my home. They always arrived when they said they would, worked so quietly, and were incredibly courteous. I will call Mike again should I need more work in the future.

I called and left a message and the return caller said I would be contacted if the work could not be done within the week. No phone call and I am now calling others.

Excellent job. Garage ceiling repaired. Coating looked so good I decided not to add another top coat. Doors were installed perfectly. They took 1.5 days to do the doors. No dings. No errors. Line up as best as they could given the warped frames. Perfectly level and true. It took me 3 weeks to do one on my own ! On time. They clean up after they finished. Professional. Focused. I see why it's hard to get an appointment. I had asked Mike about some work on my deck and he was honest about it being something that his crew could not tackle and do a good job ( that sold me on him when he was doing the estimate). I am very particular about how I do things and want things done. Mike and his crew operate at the same high level. Looking for something else they can do on my list !
