Description of Work: We have a very complicated multi home sewer problem. Matt was able to meet In a very timely fashion and was prompt. However he was not able to help us with our issue due to some undetermined variables hat he suggested we investigate and get back to him. After meeting with the Boro engineer we decided to abandon our original repair attempt and install new lines due to the geographical difficulty of the situation. I called Matt again to discuss the new plan, and he wouldn't even give me the time to discuss it. He told his office personnel to tell me the same answer that he gave me the first time. His perogative...obviously not interested. But I wouldn't consult this company if you have a difficult situation to solve. They don't seem interested in complicated issues.

Description of Work: The young man, Steve Appleton, rescued me when the pipes under the kitchen sink burst and flooded the kitchen and dining room floors. He was prompt, courteous, friendly and paid attention to not making the mess worse! That was truly appreciated. He repaired all that was necessary, cleaned up and presented a bill that surprised me: pleasantly! Cudos to Steve!

Description of Work: Rory installed a new dishwasher that we had bought. He removed the old one first. The fit of the new one was tight, but he was patient in fitting it correctly. He was also kind to my 2yr old grandson....a real plus! All in all a good experience. Rory was top notch!

Description of Work: We found a leak in a closet down in our basement ;the finished part) that had been going on for quite awhile. We called Matt Mertz Plumbing, and they were excellent. Punctual, clean, knew their stuff, answered any questions, and did a good job.

Description of Work: Removed broken pull out/push in shower spigot, replaced with new one & did connections. Same shower was leaking through downstairs hall ceiling. They had to open up ceiling and replace pipes and connections. In another bathroom there was a leak from a toilet coming through the ceiling. They lifted toilet and replaced the wax seal and sealed around base of toilet. Drain in garage was clogged; they cleaned it out. This was done over 3 separate visits and since we were repeatedly calling them, they only charged once for service call rather than 3 times.

Description of Work: Fixed a leak in an upstairs shower that was dripping water onto the ceiling. The plumber diagnosed the cause and resealed the shower strainer which fixed the leak.

Description of Work: Replaced a leaking 80 gal electric water heater. Everything went well, no problems with unit. I am always amazed at plumbing prices, but they appear to be competitive.
