When I called (number listed on Page A27 of the coupon section of the September issue of Angie's List Monthly), I was advised that I was "not in their system" and I was "outside their service area". Why was the appointment made if no one was going to show up? Bad Bad Bad business practice!!!

Description of Work: The Matt Mertz team replaced my old hot water tank with a tankless system which included re-routing a gas line, tapping into the existing water supply lines, running new vent lines, and installing the new water heater and drain. They also replaced and reconfigured drain lines under the basement concrete, roughing in new toilet, shower, and sink drain lines. | |The work was high quality and I couldn't have asked for better service. The team was very professional, knowledgeable, courteous, and took the time to discuss options with me before doing the work. Service was completed over 2 days, which was impressive considering the amount of work that needed to be done. I will be calling on Matt Mertz again to inspect a few floor drains that I suspect are clogged. I highly recommend this company.

Description of Work: I had an emergency situation with some plumbing problems. They only wanted to give me the run around. I have used them in the past and it was great but now I am without satisfaction.

Description of Work: I had called and set up an appointment to come look at replacing a shower drain. They never showed up and never called!!!

Description of Work: Initially, we called them to install a water line for a new refrigerator. We were very happy with what they did and got an estimate to replace the toilets in our house. They came back two weeks later and did that instillation. Both times they did the work to perfection and we would not hesitate to call them again. We highly recommend them.

Description of Work: Matt Mertz came and visited on the first call and gave me direction on how best to handle my situation where my house to main sewer line has broken, leaking sewage into my yard. After I followed their guidance they followed up with me which was awesome. I decided to move forward with the work which required digging up the yard, replacing the sewage line and control valve and putting the yard back together. The workers were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable and worked hard to get things complete timely, sometimes staying until after 6pm! | |After they fixed the issues they repaired the yard by replacing the dirt. Intially it was going well until the heavy rains came. Of course there is settling but due to the large hole they had to dig, there were sections requiring additional filling. A simple call back to Matt Mertz plumbing had them coming out a few days later to backfill and organize. They did a fabulous job in filling all areas. | |Extremely please with the Matt Mertz team and their efforts. I will definitely use them again as needed and refer as much as possible.

Description of Work: The appointment originally was to snake out downspout drain. also showed him a leaky outside faucet shut off faucet. Brian showed up on time, completed the snake out quickly. We then went into the house to check out the faucet. Brian was able to replace it. very quickly without any mess. I would definitely use them again. The total cost was much less than I expected. He also checked a shower faucet and tightened it up so it work work correctly. Truly awesome work.

Description of Work: CALLED ON SATURDAY ABOUT CLOGGED SEWER, COMPANY NEVER CALLED BACK UNTIL MONDAY. THEY CAME MONDAY AND FIXED SEWER THRU THE TOILET, BUT THE PLUMBER WHO FIXED THE SEWER CLOG COULDN'T PUT THE TOILET BACK TOGETHER. THEY HAD TO SEND ANOTHER PLUMBER OUT TO DO THAT, BUT THE COMPANY DIDN'T HAVE SOMEONE AVAILABLE TO DO IT FOR 8 DAYS BECAUSE THEY WERE SO BUSY. WHEN HE DID COME OUT TO RESEAT THE TOILET, THE PLUMBER DID DID NOT DO A GOOD JOB CAULKING AROUND THE BOTTOM, I REMOVED IT.
