Fisher Masonry was prompt when returning our calls and worked with our schedule to find a time to fit us in. They showed up earlier in the week than anticipated, which was great for us as we wanted to have the work done before colder weather set in. They we punctual and professional throughout the process. Fisher matched our existing mortaring as possible and finished the work in one day. We would definitely hire again.

We had a chimney crown on our stone house that was badly crumbling and we were concerned that it would eventually cause long-term damage. I called Ron Fisher and he was courteous and professional on the phone. He came out to provide the free estimate as agreed and when I asked him for proof of insurance he had his insurance company send it to me right away. We got estimates from three places. Ron's was the least expensive but more importantly his professional demeanor and advice gave us confidence to go with him. We discussed various options regarding things like adding a chimney cap and he was happy to accommodate my wishes. On the day of service he arrived promptly with his crew and began work. We have a slate roof so they set up a scaffolding to avoid having to step on the roof. They were careful when setting up and tearing down the scaffold to avoid damage to my bushes by the chimney. Ron selected a mortar that closely matched the existing mortar so that it would blend in well. They replaced the crown, replaced the terra cotta liners, added a chimney cap, and disassembled, repaired and pointed the top three layers of stone, where necessary. He made sure that the crown sloped properly (unlike the old one) so that water would not collect. He also provided a receipt for the chimney caps that he had picked up for me on my request. He also pointed a stone in the lower section of the chimney that we had discussed without my having to remind him. Afterward he showed me a picture of his work and described what had been done. Lastly, the crew cleaned up and Ron came into the house to open the fireplace dampers to check for any bits of the terra cotta liner that might have fallen during their work. I thought that this was a particularly thorough touch. In all we are very happy with Fisher Masonry's work.

Great job, great crew, great experience! Ron came to my house, listened to what I wanted done, inspected the chimney and foundation, and then provided me with a very competitive estimate. He remained in touch, and kept me informed on when he and his crew would be able to perform the necessary work. They were punctual the three days it took to do the job, and I could not be more pleased with the results. It was obvious they took the extra time to "do it right" versus just get in, get out, and move onto the next job. Both he and his crew take pride in their work, and it is reflected in the job they did at my house. Bottom Line: Honest, conscientious, and professional.

After I contacted Ron Fosher he viewed the work and provided me with a quick and fair estimate (it matched anoother estimate I had obtained). He got the job on his schedule within a couple of days and he and a crew that included 3 others completed the work in one day. They carefully avoided trampling my vegetable garden while repairing my garage wall. They were very pleasant and professional and cleaned the area well when the job was completed.

I called Fisher Masonry Contracting to get an estimate on repairs needed to the brick and mortar joints. Ron came out within the week to look at the house and the repair was scheduled in about 2-3 weeks (due to the almost incessant rain in Pittsburgh this month). The work was done perfectly and everything was cleaned up afterwards. I asked Ron to look at the chimney and he found that the cement cap was cracked, and replaced that, also. I am 100% happy with the work and am very glad that they were able to match the brick and mortar.

I gathered some contractors off of angieslist to get my repairs. ron answered my phone call ,came to the house and i explained what i wanted done. He gave my an estimate and an approximate time when he could do the job. He arrived with his helper and set up to do the job. The work on my chimney and masonary was done perfectly. My daughter-in-law had a birthday party the next day and I had many compliments on the brick repairs. Ron did very good work. and the price was reasonable.

I was out of town when the service was performed. However, my tenant was there during the job and couldn't say enough good things about Ron and his team. Even though I was away, Ron called me to keep me updated on the progress and was very professional. When I returned the entire area was completely clean and the removed bricks were piled very neatly exactly where I had requested. Ron would have taken the bricks away but I had asked him to leave them so that I could use them for other projects. I would definitely recommend him and his team.

This could not have been a more positive experience. It was a challenging job that required creativity and resourcefulness on the part of Ron, the owner, and I am completely thrilled with the results. He and his brother were punctual, extremely hard working, and very respectful of my property. We discussed the situation thoroughly in advance and I felt they carried through with skill and confidence.

Ron responded promptly to my request for a quote and was very pleasant to deal with. He completed the job within a few weeks of my initial call. His ability to do work up on roofs is of course dependent upon the weather. The job was done exactly as agreed with excellent craftsmanship. Cleanup from the job was also very thorough and I thought that the work done was good value for the price.

Everything was done in a timely manner with courtesy and professionalism. Fine job.

They started and finished on schedule. They were efficient while displaying proficient workmanship. Their bid was much higher than I anticipated the job would cost, but given the work involved and the quality of the resulting product, it was a very reasonable price.

The roofers started early June and told us they could not complete the project until the work was finished on the chimney. Ron was the 1st Chimney fellow I called and he came within the hour to take a look (he was close, geographically!) He gave us a pretty good quote and we decided since was able to start the work the next day, to go with him. They did a pretty good job - there were some cracks that my husband noticed later on - but was well worth the price because of the timing and ability to not keep the roofers longer!

Ron Fisher and his team were very professional and pleasant and easy to work with. They have started and finished the job promptly to prevent further damage and reponded to everyting in timely manner. They did a very nice job under difficult conditions and I would recommend them highly for any bricklaying, masonry or chimney repair jobs.
