Description of Work: Butch repaired a panel of four switches that control outdoor and interior lights. He did a terrific job.

Description of Work: Spent time over the phone to discuss my project in detail and gave me excellent advise even though I could not use his services.

Description of Work: Installed 2 metal boxes for electric wires and placed covers on 3 others |Chris was professional and finished the job in about 30-45 minutes. |This was one of the "get $200.00 worth of work for $109.00" specials. |Since we do not have any electrical skills, we felt the price was right for the job done and done correctly by someone who knows what they are doing.

Description of Work: He was unprofessional. He arrived and quickly told me that he couldn't do either of the simple repairs I wanted him to do . Ultimately i was able to repair the doorbell myself by buying a $2.00 part at Radioshack . This "electrician" couldn't figure it out

Description of Work: They came out to provide an estimate, but never returned it to me. I'm hesitant to do work with someone where I always have to be the one prompting them to follow-up.

Description of Work: After several attempts to reach BN, finally I spoke to the owner on his cell while he was on a job. I told him I purchases an Angie's List Big Deal. I paid $99 for $225 worth of "Certified, professional electric services." The Big Deal continued to detail that "This deal is for LABOR only" and listed examples of services you might have done for your $99. When the owner asked where I was located I said Avalon near Bellevue. He then said, "OK, well I'll have to get back to you when I'm not on the job. What work did you have in mind?" I told him 2 things and he said, "now, let me be clear, this deal includes a $100 SERVICE CHARGE. SO YOU WOULD ACTUALLY BE RECIEVING $125 WORTH OF WORK." No...there is NO mention of SERCIVE CALL fee OF $100 ON THE BIG DEAL! When I said that, he said "Oh yeah we charge that on every job, thats part of the $225 on the deal." I've called several times to get in touch with him since and there has been NO return call. I will not be doing business with BN, I will no longer be doing business with Angie"s List, and I will be demanding a refund of this Big Deal. Angie's List is supposed to eliminate workmanship problems...but instead, they seem to be part of the problem! Nice work!

Description of Work: Butch, the owner, and either his employee or apprentice arrived exactly on time and were very professional. Our dog liked them and once she got to sniff them, she didn't bother them again. To me, this is always a good sign. I showed Butch the problems---there was an outlet in the basement that was sparking and there was a switch for light upstairs that was not working. Butch fixed the problems at that time and was done within a 1/2 hour. He gave me the 50% discount on his service fee without me even mentioning the coupon. Both Butch and his employee were very polite, courteous, efficient and honest. If we have electrical issues in the future we will be using this company.
