They were very reliable. They were friendly and useful. They came out and did very good work. I will use them again in the future. I had a good experience with them.

I reached out to approximately 4 companies. Only 2 provided estimates. Allegheny Fence being one of them. The company got back to me in a few days. They set up an appointment within a week. After the decision to sign up for work, they were able to fill out the contractor section for the permit required in my town. I was a little concern about having to put a 50% down payment. Only because I have had problems with contractors in the past in which they forgot about you. It turned out to be ok with Allegheny Fence. I did have to follow up with them to see if my materials were in. It was about 3 weeks from the time they cashed my down payment check until they called to set me up on their schedule. The scheduler called and said that they would be out in a week or 2. I think they came out in about 10 days. They called the day before they planned to come out. The workmen were very nice & prompt plus they cleaned up after the work was done well!! I was very happy with their level of professionalism. I had a challenging obstacle for the team to dig through. Although it was a bit rough, the work team was able to work through and provide quality service & a great finished product. I would rate the experience as being Very Good especially the workmen experience and quality of work. I would definitely recommend Allegheny Fence to a friend. As a matter of fact, my neighbor may call upon them in the future. Thank you Angie's list for the service to find a contractor.

Never called back after visiting the property. Even left several messages - still no response.

Came in and fixed the problem left by a poor sub-contractor. They were very reasonable and very professional. I thought were were going to have to replace the entire railings, but they assured me they could repair the post instead. That really impressed me because I was expecting to spend several thousand dollars. A neighbor's tree fell on our chain link fence as well and they fixed it in five minutes at no charge.

Just OK. I provided a property survey with drawings of where I wanted the deck to be. They submitted a bid with drawings that had the fence on my neighbors yard. They had to go back out and look again and the second bid they gave me was a little higher, perhaps because they were aggravated. They cashed my deposit and then I didn't hear from them for a couple weeks. I called and asked about the work and they sent a crew to install the posts. Again no work for 2 weeks. Finally after another call they went out and finished the job. They dumped their extra concrete in the back yard. When I complained, the foreman gave me attitude. On the plus side the fence seems to be very well constructed, but I didn't enjoy working with this company.

Overall, everything went well. The fence is beautiful. Many people have admired it. They were professional and prompt. They are a very good fence company, I would choose them. Keep up the good work!

It only took 2 days and they were 90 degree days. The workers were very nice and did a great job.

The sales rep, Kathy, was most polite when I called her to add a third gate necessary for composting our grass and leaves. She was still polite when I called her back 7 months after her original estimate and held to the pricing. The installers were most professional, making a minimum of mess in setting the posts. When they returned to install the fencing itself, I hardly was aware they were working in the back. Despite [or maybe because of] the cold weather they worked quickly and had the fencing and gates up in one day. They even made friends with Puffy, our dog, who always barks at strangers, especially men. Great experience! I'd hire them again.

When Michael Howard Incorp. Fencing of Verona, PA did not send me an estimate, I called Allegheny Fence. Not only did they give me an estimate, their installer wanted to do the work Sunday and Monday evening so I didn't have to miss work. I had to wait a month for the fence to arrive, but the finished product and service was worth it.

Everything was prompt from the estimate to the daily arrival of the contractors. Very happy with the look of the fence. We had the fence installed to contain our dog, but we didn't want something that would obscure the view of our wooded back yard, so we had the best of both worlds until our dog escaped. A few days after voicing my concern that it didn't keep my dog in, they came back to put stabilizing wire on the bottom. So we are very pleased with the outcome.

Company was very professional and the quality of their work was fantastic. We even had a special request to maintain the extensive trumpet vines growing on the fence. They were very careful as to not damage the vines and kept them elevated during the fence replacement. Due to some rain days, the even came on a Saturday to complete the job.

Very happy with this company. They were flexible about scheduling and were able to do the installation more quickly than normal due to our upcoming vacation. Workmen who installed it were polite and efficient. They didn't try to charge us extra even after they discovered during the installation that there was a buried layer of paving stones that complicated digging the post holes. Fence has held up very well over the past year. Their price is not the lowest, but none of the fencing contractors that do a good job are cheap. They also matched a slightly lower estimate from another company.
