All My Sons Moving & Storage

Chose this company due to the assurance that we would be given two qualified and capable movers with a 26 foot truck and with a dolly (just assumed it would be a working dolly) to help move my kids. They charge an hourly rate, so having one guy and a quarter without a working dolly and 20 foot truck, smaller than promised, caused this job to take far longer than quoted. Being very dissatisfied, I contacted the general manager only to be told that their rates were set by the Pennsylvania Utility Commission and if I had a complaint I could call them, which, by the way, does nothing to adjust the $1800, quoted originally at $800. They took $180 of and said they couldn't do more; I say they wouldn't do more. When asked what motivation does All My Sons have to send capable people/equipment, they had no answer. We were scammed. They got 2 stars because they did show up in time and they did have a truck...low bar.

James Cousins & Ernie were great. On a very hot day they moved several very heavy pieces of furniture with a smile. Very pleasant to work with. Second time using AMS moving & other team was great too. Scott in the office was very helpful , professional & pleasant.

Charles, Demiaus and Jacob were all very polite and professional. They took their time and wrapped every item. We are very pleased. Great job!

Trey, sorry if I spelt your name incorrectly, and Charles were prompt. Both genetlmen were extremely professional. They took time to pack my momâ s belongings with care. They both took time to make sure that all of my moms moving needs where met. Unpacking of her belongings where met with the same care as packing.

Noor and Charles were great! Friendly, fast, and strong. Very respectful of our things and very helpful in delivering boxes and things to the right place at the destination.

NEVER BOOK HERE..DONT BOOK THIS COMPANY AT ALL...More like two cousins ray ray and pooky than all my sons... horrible experience didn't move everything, kept talking about a list. sent two guys to move a whole house. Tore my furniture moving it out of old place refused to move it into new house. Had to pack my car to the max was very dangerous. Unprofessional and rude. Then tried to charge me $1100 when me and my 13yr old son did most of the work the only thing they moved was fireplace two bedframes a table chairs and two couches. Me and my son did the rest very lazy rude and Unprofessional. I will never use them again. The manager Mike was extremely rude. And became defensive towards my concerns. They almost left without taking everything. I still have to go back to old house and pick up items they refused to load on that big truck I paid for. Very frustrating and made my moving day a living hell instead of a peaceful process. They also took a lunch and drove my stuff with the to a fast food place while on the clock, while me and my son starved trying to move stuff ourselves into new house. NEVER AGAIN!!

Moving suck. However George and Jacob made the day suck a whole lot less. Being type A I can get really stressed during a move and the teams ability to make jokes and laugh really made it at times feel like friends were helping me move. The team is also has an attitude of no task is too complicated approach. I moved downtown Pittsburgh and the team had to go into a small ally and park their truck into the loading dock. Itâ s really hard to put into words how amazing this team was for my move so Iâ ll just end this review by saying BOOK THIS COMPANY.

WOW they were GREAT with my move today. Logan was focused, explained the way it would be best to do the First floor and then what I had already staged in the Garage to be moved. Logan and Jordan were so kind, pleasant and professional. If you are seeking a mover, DEFINITELY get a bid from ALL MY SONS and know that their hearts are in making your move as easy as possible.

I have 2 refrigerators ( 1 black-1 white) they moved black from basement to match appliances in new house kitchen. White went to basement. They cleaned the refrigerator, which I think was over & beyond. I would recommend them.

The movers were very professional. William [Last Name Removed] kept me up to date on the move throughout the process. They completed everything in a timely manner. My consumer was very happy with the work they did and would recommend them to anyone that is looking to move.

Terrible company. Misquoted the price for how much it was going to cost and when they had all our stuff in the truck they upcharged on the quote we were given in the first place. And they have workers that screwed everything up

Reasons for Ratings at the Pittsburgh, PA location: David Hall, the move team lead was very professional but other than that I would not recommend using the Pittsburgh location. The movers arrived at my place at 9:00AM smelling of marijuana. I thought of cancelling however my lease cancellation date was already set. I felt that it was risky to cancel and schedule with another mover. We had boxed and labeled my belongings to make it as easy as possible for the movers. The first thing we noticed was that large items such as wardrobe boxes, dressers, and furniture and a stackable washer/dryer and office desk were not strapped when loaded onto the dolly. These items were taken down 2 flights of stairs. Because they were not secured my office desk fell off the dolly and was destroyed. Pictures attached. They also damaged an end table and bookshelf; boxes were tumbling of the dolly as they were moving them to the truck. We instructed them several times not to wrap the office desk before taking it out of the office, due to the narrow doorway. They did not listen and wrapped it and then had to unwrap it again. They also wrapped other items that needed to be unwrapped several times. We also noticed the downtime between taking items to the truck and returning to the apartment. They would go to the truck empty handed. Also midway through the moving process time was taken out to smoke marijuana again. To move the process along, we began to take our items to the truck. Upon arriving at our new location, the labeled room boxes were ignored, and all the boxes were placed in the most convenient room closest to the entrance! We were informed that the desk dropped, and we would need to file a claim and it would be handled in a timely manner. We sent in the claims via email and spoke with several people within the organization to no avail. Upon request Mike refused to transfer me to Brad the manager in Pittsburgh. My last attempt to resolve my claim was sent to wecare@allmysons.com and obviously they do not care!!! Here I am without resolution and a desk!

Movers were very good. All My Sons asked what time I wanted & I said 10:00. When they called the day before the move, I was told 8:00. Not pleased, but agreed. Morning of move, I received a call that there would be delay. Didn't arrive until 3pm. Not pleased. Luckily movers were quick, so not the workers. Took off a star for lateness & company not honoring agreement.

Alll My Sons Moving was A+ from start to finish. The "support" folks were courteous, friendly and thorough in ensuring they had all the information needed to make "moving day" a success. The 2 movers, however, were definitely the stars!!! They arrived on time, reviewed everything to be moved to 2 different locations then went to work loading their truck. Everything was moved to the first location and set up as needed. Delivery to the second location was more challenging because of the topography, but these great guys proceeded move everything here with an excellent positive attitude.

I moved approximately 10 miles from where I lived. I was quoted $650 and gave $100 down payment. It was considered a partial move as everything was going into a garage except for four items. The morning of the move, I received a call that an extra person has shown up and that it will cost me slightly more, but in the long run, it would be better because it would not take us long to move me. The price I was quoted at that time was an additional $750. the move is completed. My items were not wrapped or protected. The final cost was $1178. When I called I basically got the runaround. I do not know what you are looking for. I receive no satisfaction from them whatsoever the young men that move me were excellent . However, as I said, only one item was shrink, wrapped my television was not protected. I do not believe anything was broken, but I am very dissatisfied with the move and unless you want to be taken for a lot of money, do not hire them.

Did damage to furniture and house and never acknowledged or apologized.

DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE IF YOU ARE IN PITTSBURGH!!! They are total garbage! Took my deposit and scheduled my move for Saturday. Called me the day before and asked to reschedule for Sunday, ok no problem. Sunday morning they cancel because 2 people called off. Rescheduled for Monday. Called me Monday morning and canceled due to a driver calling off. The next available date was the following Sunday but I needed to be out on the Tuesday prior. They did not care about anything. DO NOT USE THESE GARBAGE PEOPLE, ESPECIALLY IF YOU NEED TO BE MOVED BY A CERTAIN DAY. I will be reaching out to the PA Attorney Generals office as they did not comply with their OWN contract. I gave them 1 star because I could not give them zero stars. Total garbage people!

Fantastic company, fantastic team. They were on time. super professional, friendly and kind. This was a move from my recently deceased grandmothers home to a storage unit and these guys, Jack and Zach could not have been any more awesome!

Great workers. Get the job done quick and protect your property from damage. Recommend to everyone.
