I found Mr. Contractor on Angie's list and place my job description. Very soon I was contacted by Steve, contractor and owner, who came over next day to look at job site and give estimate. Steve was very professional and gave detailed analysis what needs to be done and gave estimate of the work. His crew showed up as scheduled and performed job very professionally and in timely manner. Steve and his guys were very responsive and addressed all concerns I had. I was very glad with quality of work done and definitely consider Mr. Contractor for next projects.

the crews were on time everyday and cleaned up everyday as if no one was working in the home. Ken and Steve ran the job from start to finish and also made sure anything that came up which was un expected was clearly explained and options were given. I would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone who wants a professional company to work in their home as I have had bad experiences in the past with lower priced contractors. They came highly recommended from angies list and few co workers that have used them as well. Kudos to Jim, Alex, Joe And Greg who gave us our Dream KITCHEN and BATHROOM.

Excellent & the most friendly experience I've ever had!

Steve and his crew were on punctual and professional. He was always responsive to my calls and questions. He worked with me on every aspect of the design. When I wanted a change he provided guidance but gave me what I asked for. I get rave reviews on the finished product. In the end I wanted the rails to be higher. We decided to put lattice on top of the rails. He coordinated the color with the balcony color and the wood capping. It was a custom job and a darn good one!

I cannot praise these guys enough or thank Ken enough. First I have to give you my background. My wife was paralyzed in an accident July 2014 and was left a quadriplegic. Our house was inaccessible as it had steps for entry, had narrow doors, and no bathroom that was wheel chair accessible. Further, my wife had just come out of the ICU and expected 1 month of physical therapy before being sent home. We were desperate as our house would not accommodate her and every contractor told me they would need at least 2 months to get most of the work done which did not include the access ramp. I contacted Mr. Contractor, along with other contractors. Ken from Mr. Contractor was the first one that appeared when he promised. His quote was in line with the others but he promised me quality work that would make us happy. He also added some upgraded suggestions but kept his price close to what the others quoted. Shockingly, he promised to gut, remodel, and completely finish the work by the time she was discharged from the hospital. I selected Mr. Contractor but was worried as other families in the hospital told me how it took 3 months just to get their bathroom completed much less an entire first floor which included a kitchen. He also promised to move all the electric switches, widen the hallways and doors, and finally complete an access ramp. I'm happy to report they did everything they promised plus some extra things I requested like wiring for cable and other amenities. The ramp looks awesome and we get compliments from everyone that visits. My wife loves it and feels comfortable in the new house moving around in her wheelchair. I highly recommend these guys. Most important, we all make mistakes and when I pointed out theirs they never argued or made excuses. To quote Ken, "I'll get my guy over there by tomorrow and we'll make you happy." He always did!

Mr Contractor was terrific. Very professional from start to end. They did the work we asked for and had suggestions and ideas for better ways to do things without trying to upsell us. They also just did a few things extra (cementing some holes in our foundation, for instance, and installing plastic sheathing to discourage the carpenter bees that have been making swiss cheese out of the underside of our porch railings). They were clean, stayed in touch, and their work is top rate. Our team was friendly, polite, responsive, not to mention very skilled--everything I want in a contractor. I trusted them with our housekey and they did not abuse that trust--locked up every day (this project took almost 2 weeks) and returned the key at the end. Highly recommend them.

The folks from Mr. Contractor could not have been more helpful. After a flood in my condo basement, they came quickly to schedule the job and finished on schedule. I am very pleased with the work and would definitely use them again.

Couldn't be happier with the quality of work and responsiveness. Kenny provided a fair estimate and good explanation of what was needed. What began as a siding replacement & repair to fix a leak ended up in a complete wall re-build. When we discovered that the wall was completely rotted through, Kenny pulled his carpenter over to our job in order to re-frame and build a new exterior-facing wall. The wall was rebuilt masterfully, and the change-order price was very fair. Kenny even had his team return to the site a day later to make on last fix needed to complete the project. Overall they did a great job and were VERY easy to work with.

They were very professional and the quality is good. I will think about using them again.

My house was built in 1925 so my kitchen was antiquated to say the least. I did not have a bathroom on the first floor which my eighty one year-old mother needed very much. The washer and dryer was previously in the kitchen which made the room even smaller. Mr.Contractor Inc. built me a larger kitchen, a separate and decent size laundry room and bathroom. The appropriate doors were used to separate the three rooms. I now have a granite top counter area, beautiful cabinets, nice Duraceramic tile floors, wonderful up-to-date lighting, beautiful sink with a garbage disposal, wonderful plumbing, and a beautiful paint job in all three rooms. When something new had to be added, Lonnie, the manager, did it for a fair and reasonable price. My circuit breaker box had to be replaced and they did a superb job.The backdrop behind the sink is stunning. They also filled in some holes in the walls of my cellar, giving more strength to my aged home. The electrician put in outlets all around the counter area so that I can plug in multiple appliances. Even Lonnie jumped in and performed a great job on what he was fixing. I am thrilled and truly believe that you will not regret hiring Mr. Contractor Inc as it is a wonderful corporation.

When they did the work everything was fine. In May I noticed that the sidewalk they poured was cracking with pieces coming out of it. I've called them a few times since May to have them come back out and fix it. They tell me they'll be out on a particular day and then never show up. This has happened every time they made an appointment with me. **Update 10/22/2014** They came and fixed all of my issues.

From the office crew to the contractors, the staff with Mr. Contractor puts customer service first. They are very friend, professional, and helpful. The contracting crew was prompt and professional -- the work is quality and tidy. These guys definitely go the extra mile to meet the customer's expectations.

Steve came out to give an estimate for repairing our windows and a few other things we needed fixed. He seemed honest, professional and the quote he gave us was very reasonable. His team began the project on time and they were efficient, professional, and worked hard to make sure the projects were done well. We were extremely please with the services and would definitely use them again, and highly recommend them for any contracting needs.

Mr Contractor and his employees were very professional, fixed the problem by replacing the down spout and all other necessary repairs. I would recommend this company to anyone who needs professional work done at a very reasonable price.

Crews showed up everyday and the owner was at the job site at least on e a day to go over anything I needed. You get what you lay for and i would recommend mr contractor to anyone looking for a contractor with a great team and if you want the job done right with no pressure on the sale of the job.

My review is very late coming - sorry guys it was a crazy year... Mr. Contractor did an amazing job replacing the damaged portion of my roof.The Supervisor (cannot remember his name) was absolutely wonderful. It rained the day my job was to start, he said, "hey we're here - we can get something done." Instead of just blowing off the day, they spent the time moving items out of the way and planning how the get the job done the next day. Twenty-four hours later: they were there ready to work - on time, ready to work. The guys were funny, polite, fast, hardworking, and they cleaned up after the job was done. The best part for me - the job was expected to take two - three days, they finished it in one. I've recommended Mr. Contractor to friends, family, and co-workers. It's been a year, and there are no leaks, and it is beautiful. After a few awful experiences with contractors, I was leery, and I'm sure I drove the office folks a little nuts, but they were patient. Changes to the contract were made when asked with no problem. This is a good company. I cannot say enough great things about Mr. Contractor.

I've never had such a good experience. I've never had a good experience with a contractor before this! They contacted us every day. They were responsive to every telephone call and the quality of the work was top notch. I couldn't have asked for more.

Everyone from the office staff to the direct workers were professional and timely.

They were great. They were very expensive but they did a good job. It would be hard to use them all the time because of the price.

Steve, crew worked quickly and did a good job. On pricey side, but you get what you pay for is my theory.

Everything went extremely well. The work performed was put off for years because we dreaded having contractors in the house creating a mess. Barry's guys at Mr. Contractor were respectful of our home. They cleaned up every evening after themselves. They took away all rubbish. They even moved our sofa and love seat every evening so we would have somewhere to sit. I thought that was very thoughtful. When the curio closet was removed, Barry, worked with us to determine what would be the most cost effective solution. The outcome is gorgeous. Feels like we have a new house. We have other projects that we will be using Mr. Contractor in the near future!

Barry and his team were excellent to work with. All were very professional and knowledgeable. Barry also provided very competent advice on choosing electrical, mechanical and other subcontractors. Barry also helped to select fixture, carpet and cabinetry vendors. All were professional with high quality workmanship. Barry's knowledge of the L&I process and inspectors was also invaluable. His experience and relationships ensured that we quickly met or exceed the City's building code requirements. The price was a little high, but the quality of work and peace of mind were well worth it.

He took a look at the job, which we knew definitely needed a total redo, new subfloor, walls, tub, tile, etc. He told us all about his company and the different jobs they take on and how they would do a masterful job. He told us the total job would run around $17,500.00 and that would be for everything. When we told him that was a little too much for our budget he told us to get other estimates and that we would see no one would be able to beat their price for the amount of work we needed done!! We'll we did find someone on Angie's List that performed all the work we needed done for $6,500.00 less than his estimate.

We researched and interviewed several general contractors and found Mr. Contractor to be the most knowledgeable, responsive and professional. We were not living in the house while work was being performed, but Mr. Contractor kept us informed of their progress throughout the entire renovation. Despite the number of snow storms we experienced in the Delaware Valley this past winter, our home was move-in ready, just one week after the original proposed move-in date. We could not be happier with the finished project, and we plan to use them for the remaining rooms that need updating.

They also sheet rocked my basement where the leak did damage and spackled where they needed too, to complete the work. They also removed some old sheet rock in my basement and replaced it to look like it did prior to the water damage. Overall they did a good job and the guys that did the work were very friendly, I would recommend them and got additional work done when they came to quote me a better price. I also got a 1 yr warranty on the work done.
