Lowe's Air Duct Cleaning

The provider was punctual, neat, courteous and knowledgeable.

He arrived on time and completed the job in less than two hours. He explained the process as he went along and was professional.

He made sure that everything was clean during and when he left. It was a lot of work since it had not been done for 12 years.

Serviceman was clean, quick, and courteous.

Called promptly to schedule. Scheduled within one week of first contact. Called prior to arriving and I could request the later end of the service window. Arrived on time. Took shoes off in the house. Instructed me as to the process of cleaning. Moved any items in the way. Showed before and after pictures of the main ducts upon request. I was disappointed they didn't clean out the actual HVAC unit. I should have asked prior to purchasing the Big Deal. I will need to find another company who cleans the actual HVAc unit (blower, etc.). Also, disappointed all the vents were not covered as there was much debris to clean up afterwards surrounding many vents. (I watched a video of another company that covered all vents except the one vent that was being cleaned out.) Did not watch to see if the vents were taken off the walls or if the air pressure tool was just inserted into the vents. It seemed the vents were not removed and I do not know if that impacts the quality of the work in the ducts leading down to the main trunk ducts. Overall, it seems the air quality in the house is better. And the before and after pictures showed the vast difference of dust and gunk removal in the main ductwork. The person who did the work was very professional, interacted kindly with my kids, answered all my questions as needed and kept me apprised of any issues or differences in duct work. No hidden fees or charges, which was extremely appreciated. I paid 240 for the big deal and received the duct cleaning for one HVAC unit main trunk and unlimited in/out ducts.

It went really well. The guy was really friendly and knowledgeable. I'd recommend using them, no questions.

Saw the deal for $250 on Angie's List. Called to book an appointment they directed me to their website where I saved an additional $50 for the same service. Paid on-line. They arrived on time. Took off their shoes and finished the whole house in about two hours. Courteous and polite. Thanks again.

The service man called me about half an hour before my appointment to tell me he was going to be an hour late; he didn't account for traffic coming from NY. We walked through the house and he took note to all the vents needing to be cleaned. It was all very noisey, but he cleaned up after himself and it took less time than I had estimated (2 hrs I think). Overall, I had no issues with the company, but I just don't think I will be getting this service done again.

I forgot the price but it was reasonable. Work was done well and I am fully satisfied.

I wanted to get my ducts cleaned before the winter as I smoke and have two dogs with lots of hair. The ad said they would contact me and no one ever did. There was no number in the printed receipt to call so nothing happened. From this experience I wouldn't recommend the service.

It was on time, professional and tidy

It was great. We purchased the house a year ago and finally got to cleaning out the air ducts. The worker told me it's probably been about 10 years since they were cleaned. He walked me through the whole process before starting to see if I had any questions. Then he would check in with me to give me an update on how it was going. Amazing experience.

Serge arrived on time. Explained scope of work. 2 1/2 hours later finished. Ducts were clean. However Serge failed to reconnect an appliance in our laundry room that he used to power one of his equipment. It was the next day that I discovered that it was the refrigerator. All food in the freezer was lost.

Single person came for service. Looked like he was already exhausted from the previous job. I had 18 ducts to be cleaned. Pretty sure he missed a few. Unless you stand behind them for the entire time you cannot be sure that the job was done in full. The guy was professional but it was late in the day and he had to go back to NJ from PA so he had to hurry up. He cleaned some ducts very well but some of them were like within a couple minutes. Overall, it was a very okay job. Not very satisfied. I would try someone else next time

Serge removed the baseboard return and register vent covers and had a huge HEPA vacuum running to pull dust etc from ducts. Holes were made in the main trunk lines and smaller lines to permit cleaning throughout. The job took about 2 1/2 hours for my small house. He was very professional and focused on the job and left everything neat and plugged/covered all duct holes used for the cleaning. As I was planning to replace all the old vent covers, I asked that he not reattach them. I was very pleased with the service.

It went well but the problem was that the wall around the vent were messed up in multiple places. He asked if he can cut around the vent with the paint attached to remove it and that was fine. I did not expect that he missed the vent all together and cut my wall too and elsewhere he did an incomplete cut around the vent and the attached spots was ripped off the wall and now it looks like a hang nail. he was a nice kid but probably not experienced enough to deal with the attached vents. Prob will not use again as he did not tell me of the damage at the time it happened as I discovered it a day later.

The service provider did show up as scheduled but the appointment time was difficult to schedule.

I ordered the $250 Deal for the "Complete Air Duct Cleaning". Lowes was responsive and they were able to come out on a Sunday to accommodate my schedule (I assume that Lowes works with different contractors so I don't know if Sunday appointments are possible in all parts of the country). They gave me a time window of two hours and Serge arrived right at the beginning of that time window. Serge spent most of the afternoon cleaning the duct work with a rollable vacuum. He showed me what the ducts looked like before and after his work. In addition, Serge mentioned that our coil was clogged so I agreed to pay an additional $149 for the service. After he was finished, he spent some time with me giving me air conditioning care tips and explaining how to keep my air conditioning from getting dirty for as long as possible. Since I am not a professional, I can't actually speak to the quality of the service or price or how it compares to other companies. I can say that Serge was polite and professional and respected our wish to be careful about our newly finished floors while moving around our house with ladders and his vacuum. I would definitely use his services again and will recommend him to friends.
