Lowe's Air Duct Cleaning

Nicholas the tech called and emailed before arrival within the original time frame as promised. He completely explained the scope of services and performed as stated with no problems or complaints. Nicholas was very thorough and showed me his work as he moved though my home. He was here for between 2 to 3 hours and was very careful moving his equipment in my home. I would definitely use his services again!

The tech was very thorough and knowledgeable. the system was over twenty years old and had never been cleaned, so there was a lot of work to do, and he provided some before and after pictures that will definitely motivate me to have the system cleaned regularly. Because it had never been cleaned, there was additional work to be done that was outside of the agreed upon Angie's List Deal, so there was a charge for that, but a fair one. I would always rather have the job done right and to its completion, so I appreciated his honesty in recommending the coil cleaning.. What was really impressive, though, was how the Lowe's tech helped me resolve a problem on the fly. Just by using spare parts from his truck and a little elbow grease, the tech rigged up an HVAC Filter Stand so that I could use a standard 20-20 filter. The older air duct system had a poor design and did not easily accommodate HVAC filters, but with the help of the filter holder, I can use a standard issue one from Home Depot without any trouble. It may not seem like much, but it was not something he had to do, and it took quite a bit of engineering to put the stand together and position it properly, and he did not charge me for this service. As a new home owner, I really appreciated getting this taken care of before moving in, and having such a knowledgeable and ingenuitive tech made this a very positive experience. The service was very professional the Lowe's representative came in introduce himself and got right to work. He took his time and made sure every duct and vent was properly cleaned. What I loved most about the work he did, he was able to show a picture inside of each duct before he cleaned and after, which showed how thorough the ducts were cleaned when he was finish. He also did a great job cleaning our dryer vent.

Air duct cleaning and chimney sweep - did not complete full chimney sweep, cut additional hole into air vent when on already existed that he could have used, also missed cleaning vents in bedroom The guy was nice but i have no idea if he did the job he was supposed to do....he first said that i didnt purchase the chimney sweep and i had to show him the receipt....he didnt really understand what I was asking him.

The provider showed up within the first hour of the two-hour "arrival window" and quickly performed the service. He was nice, courteous and worked efficiently.

The technician was very nice and took care to set up neatly to perform the work. He informed me of what he would be doing and how long it would take. He was happy to show me the camera view of the duct work, and then he also explained to me how I can properly clean between professional cleanings. I will likely schedule them to return within 3 years. Great experience and happy to have clean air!

We recently renovated and the return was very, very dirty. The technician was very efficient and cleaned the return so well it looked new. Very happy with the service.

The technician that came out was very professional, curteous, and respectful. He did a very good job with cleaning the ductwork, which was much needed after renovating the house. He also did a good job cleaning up after his work was done.

After you purchase the deal, Lowes sends a message on angies list acct to schedule the service, even though you have chosen 3 days. On the scheduled day, the service man called us 45 minutes prior. He brings the huge "vacumm" inside the house, had to drag it thru the steps and connects it to the HVAC. The returns and the vents are cleaned after. The HVAC filter is then removed and a new filter is put in. You have to make sure to have a new filter available to replace when this service is done. We were happy with the service.

The provided did a fine job of cleaning the air ducts. He also provided some advice on how to keep lint from building up. However, while he spoke English, it was difficult to communicate some things and for him to understand me.

Very well! Rep was very knowledgeable and professional. He had to work around contractors and painters who were still finishing up work and he was absolutely great. Came on time, was very thorough and provided detailed information and educated us on our system. Would recommend and reuse.

He appeared to know what he was doing. He provided a camera view for me to see areas where he had cleaned. My wife did not see him do the dryer vent. When she questioned him about it he stated that he had already completed the cleaning. He was courteous/professional and arrived on time. My wife and I thought the deal included all vents in the house.This was a costly project.

I'm not sure; the technician was very nice but at the end of the job he showed me a filter that was very dirty but I'm not sure if it was my filter because there were actually 2 filters. My original filter is still in the furnace so I don't know if he was trying to show me a dirty filter to prove the benefit of the service but he never said where that actual filter came from. He did tell me what he was going to do and how long it would take though.

The person they sent out was very, very nice and very professional. He explained everything he was going to do.

We just purchsed the house and all of the ducts were full of junk. Every night when i came home i would sneeze and have an allergy attack. Knock on wood not since they cleaned the ducts.

He had to drill a hole in my heater which made me a little nervous, that went ok. He went through and did all my vents, I was unsure about one vent. My heater was turned off and it wasn't turned back on when he left. I called and he answered right away.

Joe was great. He called to let me know when he would arrive the day of the appointment. He cleaned all of the vents and the heating unit, which I believe had not been cleaned since its initial installation. There was an incredible amount of debris in the ducts and Joe took care of it all. He also covered all of the vents for me afterwards as the my house is still a bit of a construction site. Overall great service and very friendly guy.

It went well. They were quick and were on time when they said they would be there. The interaction was good. I don't think I paid over the deal.
