I was very impressed when I called and talked to skip. He explained everything to me and we set up a time when I was going to be home. When the installer (Bernie) came out and we talked about how this job would be done, again I was very impressed. I just can't say enough about how the job turned out "PERFECT" and that I am 1000% satisfied. I am in business for myself and I asked Skip to send me some cards that I can give to my customers if they ask me if I know a company that installs generators. Good work, good price. Skip was straight forward and honest with us regarding our options. He didn't try to push us toward something more than we needed. The other 3 contractors we spoke to did. One company quoted twice as much for the same service that My Family provided! We will likely call Skip again when needed.

I had an interlock switch installed for a portable house generator. Overall I was very impressed with the service I was provided. They worked with my schedule and got me a quote in a timely fashion. The work was done at the quoted price and it looks and works great.

Toby came over and fixed the problem real quick. Appreciated his manners and prompt help.

Skip and Bernie and the team were all very professional, responsive and scheduled quickly. Their quote was the most competitive of the three that we received, so we went with them. Work was done over a span of a few visits, longer than expected, because some things they did needed to be redone after mistakes were made. (Floodlight was placed on the wrong end of the house and hardwood floor was damaged on the floor above after installing a chandelier below.) They rememdied the mistakes and made us whole in a professional manner. We were happy with all the end results. We had them install a ceiling fan, two chandeliers, two flood lights and one porch light. Bernie even helped us by installing dimmers on some of our switches that he wasn't doing work on, free of charge. I would recommend them to a friend as a great value electrician.

The Home Advisor website does not have a specific drop down selection for removing connections from panel. It only has UPGRADE PANEL. This caused some confusion on the front end of the communication. Home Advisor needs to let customer to specify actual work to be performed. But the electrician was excellent.
