My wife called Servpro to request assistance and they arrived at the first opportunity which was on a Saturday which we were later informed was "after hours" and billed at a higher rate which was unnecessary. We could have waited until Monday had they communicated things properly. We were billed for 4 set ups although there was only 1, we signed for 15 machines they billed us for 20 which I think they eventually knocked down to 19. They somehow lost our final sign off sheet which my wife signed on their computer system in which the crew member and my wife agreed on 15 machines. We were also billed for labor hours that didn't seem to correspond to the actual time spent on the job which was minimal. Would not recommend these guys in the future. Work was done properly but billing was a mess. I would clarify charges prior to agreeing to any work being done. I paid the bill because I didn't want to waste any more of my time. The total cost to dry my basement and rip out the carpet was $5,085. Could not believe this cost on 600/sf of finished basement particularly when there was no water creep into the dry wall whatsoever. I feel ripped off so buyer beware.

They were here right away, got all the water out and that was a blessing. It would have been nice to have an estimate of how much it would cost me, I just got a bill last week. They sent the salesperson out first and I had a cap on my insurance and he was like you will have to store this and I just needed a cost and they wouldn't do it but I was in a bad situation and I needed to get the water out.

The crew was amazing. They quickly removed all the walls in our basement, down to the block, including a "free standing" wall. Hauled away all the moldy garbage. We ran 2-3 dehumidifiers and air purifiers in the basement for nearly a week. Upon returning they treated the wall with a natural mold killer - smelled like sage in the house for a few days but safe for my and my family (elementary age kids). Unfortunately since the basement foundation was exposed we haven't been in touch with ServPro to complete the work (not their fault) and come back to drylock the basement. Therefore I've only paid 50% of the quoted amount.

On Wednesday, I had about six inches of water in my basement caused by a severe storm that washed mud and debris into my driveway. The debris covered an exterior drain and the water rose and entered the basement around the garage door. After clearing the drain, I called Servpro. They were swamped with calls and said they would be out within 48 hours. Joe and his crew arrived on Friday at 4:00PM. They removed pockets of standing water, mopped up the layer of mud (even getting on their hands and knees with rags to reach some places), removed the baseboards to let the walls drain, removed a damaged carpet and other damaged items, and set up blowers and dehydrators to get the moisture out. From the time they arrived at 4:00PM until they left at about 8:00PM, they worked. There were no breaks, there was no fooling around, they just worked. I was very impressed with their professionalism, courtesy, attention to detail, and thoroughness. They did an excellent job. On Sunday, another Servpro rep came back to check the moisture readings. He removed most of the blowers but left a few in place in some areas where the moisture was still high. Joe came back on Monday, checked the trouble spots, and removed the last of the equipment. I am very pleased with their work and would recommend them to anyone having flood damage.

They were really bad. There was a lot of miscommunication. We had a work order that included a person come and do exactly what needed to be done. The people came in bit did not have the work order with them and they did not even know what had to be done. They had to redo a bunch of things. They messed up and did not complete the task. They had to come back. They did some damage. A person came and told them what exactly needed to be done and they had not done what they were asked to do. They had come back again and that cost even more. It was very frustrating. The communication was very bad. I would not use them again. They also did not follow the protocol for safety. They were supposed to tape off the rooms so that no air can get through but they did not do that at all. It was one after the other. They did not do so many things and the project went very long. They were nice people but I think because it was an emergency they hired a lot of people who did not have much experience. One thing they did the job well but they had to redo it many times. They were always on time though. They came when they said they would. This company has many branches and I will not use this particular branch.
