Description of Work: I called them several times last year to come out. They did not call back and then I called the owner. I told him that Bernice was rude and not at all professional and I was tired of chasing them down to do our driveway. I told them not to call me again and I hired another firm. I am constantly still getting calls this spring for them to do the driveway. We told them the last time if they call again we are going to report them. |I don't think a customer should call several times for them to come out for an estimate.

Description of Work: They mowed the lawn the full 2013 season. They were dependable and efficient. Accomplished task in less than 15 minutes with the crew of about 4 people.

Description of Work: They removed a branch and dragged downed branches to their truck. He told me it was four men for one hour, not 4 hours of work as you advertised. He then quoted me $450.00 to clean the yard, with a haul-a-way fee of $45.00. I told him no, I just wanted the one hour of branch hauling and whatever else they could do in that time frame. They called me the day before to say they would be here the next day. I asked when they would be here and he said he was putting the schedule together and would let me know. I never heard another word until three guys showed up at 2:45, and asked what they were to do, and said they couldn't clean out the flower beds because the wind was so strong. I told him that I didn't want him to do the flower beds, but showed him the branch to be removed and asked for the brush and fallen branches to be taken to the truck. I then said if they had time, I had a shrub I would like trimmed. I went back out to check on them fifteen minutes later, and the guy was standing under the tree with a saw blade on a long pole, which he couldn't reach the branch with, so I told him he could use one of our ladders. At 3:38, they were pretty much done, but spent another 20 minutes hunting for something in the grass, I'm thinking a screw, and I saw they were repairing the side rails on their truck, and then they left. I went out to look at the tree, and they left a huge, jagged edge of the branch they took down. I could have done a better job. |When I got the invoice, by email, I was charged $45.00, which he had quoted for $450.00 worth of cleaning the yard, raking, leaf removal, etc. I didn't have him do the extra hours @37.00 per man, per hour which I guess would have been another three hours or so, and did not fill up his truck by myself, only 1/3 at most, so I asked him to reduce the haul-a-way charge, and he said that was what he quoted. I will never use them again, and found out that a friend had encountered the same $450.00 quote, and she found someone else for almost $250.00 less! I will never recommend him for yard work to anyone I know. | |The other thing that bothers me, is that you advertised $99.00 for Four Hours of Spring Yard Clean-Up, and I have that copy from you, yet he sent me an advertisement of $99.00 for 4 men for one hour, or 2 men for two hours. No matter, he didn't honor the contract I had, nor the one he sent me, as 3 men should have worked for 1 1/2 hours, and they only worked for one. I was very disappointed. I guess you don't know about all the people you work with.
