 + -1 moreThey were very quick to schedule to come out, however, they did have a little delay in the time for the day of service. Originally they were scheduled for 10 am, moved to 1 pm and then came at 12:30. However, they were able to clean a carpet that hadn't been cleaned in years and make it look almost like new. Price was a little high, but it was good quality and the carpet dried in about 5 hours.

 + -1 moreThe carpets look like new, especially the stairway which was very dirty. Steve did a great job and was very professional and concerned with doing a great job. He arrived early and went right to work. He spoke with the tenant who was moving in later that day and left extra pads to put the furniture on.

 + -1 moreThe technician was 30 minutes early but called to notify us that he was running early on this Saturday morning. We moved all of the furniture before he got there to make things easier but he helped us move two heavy beds. The technician was very knowledgeable and polite, as was the owner when I initially set up the appointment. Neither tried to sell us too h****** other services as other companies often do. Because they are very fairly priced, professional, courteous and get right to work when they come to our house, we will definitely use them again.
Description of Work: Cleaned master bedroom, guest bedroom, office, hallway, stairs, living room. As a courtesy on the way out, cleaned my area rug in front of the door.

 + -1 moreOverall, it went well. Some stains didn't come out, and that was made clear from the beginning. My son's room still smells a bit funky on very warm humid days, but we can put off replacing the carpet for a while. I was impressed by the responsiveness, honesty, punctuality, and care from everyone I dealt with. I definately got my money's worth, and I definately would use them again, but will discuss specifics of furniture -moving ahead of time.
Description of Work: I have a small dog who has "problems." He had peed on my son's bedroom carpet multiple times- and neither of them reported the multiple transgressions to me. So by the time I banned the dog from the room the spot-cleaning was not effective. I knew that if professional cleaning did not work, the carpet would have to be replaced. The staff at the office were very knowedgable and honest about the process and effectiveness. Since the price was cheaper than replacement, we decided to clean first. The operator was on time, polite, and listened carefully to my directions about where most of the transgressions occurred. While there were two pretty big men, and they did move the twin beds, I was disapointed to discover they did not move the dressers, which needed to be done to get the area around the dresser feet. They did not move the full-size bed in the other room or any of the dressers. None of the dressers was very large, and they did put foam blocks under them to protect them from dampness. The "B" in quality is only for the furniture issue. The work overall was very well done, and I am otherwise satisfied.

When I called they immediately provided me with an estimate of the cost, scheduled an appointment for four days later, and answered every question I had honestly. On the day of service, the technician arrived right on time, was professional, and did an excellent job. I have two young children, an elderly dog, and several guests in and out of our home... so our carpeting takes a beating. Once the cleaning was completed - it looked brand new. They were even able to clean and deodorize my living room where my elderly dog recently got sick. Great Job! I will be using them again.

 + -1 moreI joined Angies list to look for a carpet cleaner. The best reviews I saw were for Thomas Carpet cleaners. I called them as I live in New Jersey. I wanted to know if they performed service in my area. I am glad they did. I am 75 years old and have used many companies for different reasons. This company, by far, was the best contractor I have ever dealt with. The work was performed as promised and my carpets look like new. I had a problem with the kitchen carpet. It was no fault of the company. My wife had used carpet fresh on the dark rug and the cleaning had left light spots on it. I told John not to worry about it but he sent his men back over and they cleaned it again at no charge. This is a man and a company who mean what they say in their pledge to satisy the customer. I highly recommend them for your carpet needs. Thanks again John...By the way, we are not related. Thanks Angie's list.

I had spoken with the company and before I booked them, they explained that because I live on the 6th floor of an apt. building, there would be an extra $40 charge since the portable unit would be used. Bob was the person who arrived,..he called earlier than the scheduled time to let me know he was on his way. There was slight confusion about what needed to be cleaned and he had to run back to the van to get different equipment, and quickly resolved that issue. Bob was very friendly, and went promptly to work. He added a mild scent to the furnature and cleaned the decorative pillows, which would have cost extra if I had another company do the job. He explaned how long it would take the furnature to dry. He left the area he worked in clean. Job Well Done.
Description of Work: I needed a 3 seater sofa ( 2 cushions attached to the back with 2 large seat cushion and 2 decorative pillows) and an oversized chair cleaned. The furniture was removed from storage and after 2 years, it had rodent turds sprinkled throughout (Luckily no rodent was present).

 + -1 moreMy pale beige wall to wall carpeting had not been cleaned in several years and really needed a good deep cleaning. I was surprised to learn that Thomas Carpet Cleaners was located right in my neighborhood and contacted them right away. They were able to give me an appointment within the week and told me that they would arrive between 9:00 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. They were right on time! The service provider was extremely neat and professional. All of the cleaning equipment remained outside--only the hose came in. I had three rooms and a stairway cleaned. All the furniture was moved, and after the cleaning, plastic squares were put under all funiture legs to minimize impressions in the carpet and the furniture was replaced in its original location. The carpet was thoroughly cleaned--it looks like new! I was extremely satisfied.

 + -1 moreGreat. They worked around my schedule and came when scheduled. They were quick, but thorough. The carpet looks excellent now. The carpet cleaner explained why certain areas would remain discolored (pet issues), but worked to make them look as good as they could.
Description of Work: Cleaned the carpet in a sunroom, large den and large dining room as well as one set of stairs. Everything looks MUCH better -- stains came out nicely and the areas where we walk the most blend in with the rest of the carpet again.

We recently purchased a 14 year old townhouse and the cream colored carpets were never cleaned so they were quite gross. After the treatment, they were sparkling and fluffy and there was no harsh chemical smell and the carpets dried in a couple of hours. Excellent!
