Description of Work: I purchased a multi room deal. Decent price. Carpets were brand new (one year old). Owner called to set up appointment. Agreed on day before thanksgiving at 2:30. On day of cleaning, he called numerous times to move up time, but my wife and I work. So he did what he had to to keep the scheduled time. He cleaned four rooms, a hallway, and a flight of steps in under an hour. My wife was home during the work. She showed him a couple of small stains...he said he'd try, but no promises. When I returned home, and the Carey had dried, it looked untouched. The stains still in place. Then, just last week, I attempted myself to remove the stains he couldn't. I used a kitchen towel, one part vinegar, and other part hot water. Blotted and dried. Stains gone! It was a case of a rushed job due to the holiday schedule, and if I wanted it done right I should have done it myself. You get what you pay for, I guess. I paid a sale price and got a half way done cleaning.

Description of Work: I sent e-mails twice to this company, asking for a call back so that we could set up a time for them to come to my house to do the job. They never replied. Now, it is almost 8 weeks since I heard from them, I have paid for the service, and I have received neither a callback nor a carpet cleaning. I would like a refund of my money from them or from Angie's list. What do I now do?

Description of Work: Bought AL deal. Everything was fine. Carpets clean enough, not perfect and he wouldn't move anything at all not even for a fee. |Paid extra for small hallway and stairs. |He left it was really wet still. He said this was fine. I've had carpets clean before this was extra wet. |I've not been happy with most carpet cleaners so I figured he was good enough. |He said don't buy deal through AL pay him directly so he doesn't have to pay AL and lose a cut. |I saw he had a groupon so I bought that this time. | |After making appointment I get a call saying he will honor the price of the deal in cash but he's too far out of mileage range to use the groupon deal. |After back and forth and pointing out even when you google it I am still only ONE MILE over the limit. |Surely this justifies a small fee not paying twice. |He or very rude and defensive and refused. |To me it was my fault for paying groupon i should have called him direct. |Two weeks ago they could have told me this. |I just moved all of our furniture and kids stuff in a really small house and I have herniated disks, shoulder, elbow and knee injuries. |This is a slap in the face. |I would never recommend anyone doing business with someone this rude and incapable of running a business.

Description of Work: Carpet Stretching for 3 rooms

Description of Work: carpet cleaning. It went well. But our area rug shrank on three sides a little. it was flattened after use for a few days though. Not sure it was because the quality of our rug or because the temperature setting or the chemical in their detergent used this time was too strong.

Description of Work: Walter was very professional and thorough. He cleaned our family room carpet, stair case carpet, and dining room rug. He explained what he did and asked us to inspect his work. I would definitely use him again.

Description of Work: Steam vac two rooms - went well. Initially debated over square footage vs. number of rooms, but realized we didn't have much square footage to do, and ultimately made good on our original request.

Description of Work: Cleaned carpet in Living room and hall. Discussed possible dying of carpet to eliminate sun fading. Carpet looks wonderful.
