There were two bedrooms, living room, dining area, and hallway to be done. I only called him as a last resort effort to salvage the carpet, and actually was pretty sure I would need to replace it because of all the stains--pretty dark ones on beige and light tan carpet, especially since I had no idea what the stains were from. I was EXTREMELY OVER THE TOP HAPPY with the results!!!!!! He even did the closets! I told him he should change his name to magic man. I was so surprised that he was able to get EVERY single stain out of the carpet. Walter was very professional, and fastidious. And, he absolutely knows how to run a successful business. I was even lucky enough to get a few tips on my next carpet purchase. Fortunately, it won't be right now before Christmas! Giving reviews is something I usually procrastinate on; but with dependable, quality service at a great price like this, I had to do it today (the same day)!! Thank you so much, Walter!! I was very impressed with all aspects of the service, including professionalism, quality of serivce, punctuality and scheduling flexibility. I selected Warren based on past reviews which afforded me piece of mind and the service lived up to its expectations. I'm very pleased with the quality of service that was rendered and would highly recommend him.

Walter was very good with communication. He would call call me back within five minutes and was professional and courteous. I asked him about the drying time and he indicated it could take anywhere between 7-24 hours so we just stayed off it for 24 hours. They removed any stains and if we pointed out any areas that needed additional treating they went back over these areas. He was able to accommodate our scheduling needs.

I purchased a big deal from Angie's List to have 2 rooms of carpets cleaned. I received an e-mail from Mr. Pitchford requesting that I suggest 3 dates for service to be performed. When I spoke to the owner by phone, he informed me that he was totally booked for the dates that I requested before the Thanksgiving Holiday, but if I didn't mind him coming at 7:00AM on Saturday, November 22, he could do the work then. I was so impressed that he would even consider coming so early in order to clean my carpets. Mr. Pitchford called me the evening before to confirm and arrived at 7:00AM on Saturday morning. He moved some chairs and a coffee table to another area in my apartment so that he could clean more effectively. He was extremely friendly and professional, and did a great job on carpets that had many stains and dirty areas. Naturally not every stain could be removed and as a pet owner, that is understandable. Overall, I was very pleased with this company.

He was very professional and very personable. He did an absolute thorough cleaning of my carpet, which by the way is 24 years old and I never thought it would come up so clean. The last time I had it cleaned was about 2 years ago. I am going to replace this carpet in the near future, so I just wanted to give it a good cleaning for the holidays. I was very pleased with his workmanship.

Walter called the night before to confirm next day appointment. He was very punctual and professional. Having four dogs and a cat I knew my carpets were well overdue for a cleaning. He treated the problem areas and did a great job with the cleaning and deodorizing. He was very friendly and I would definitely use his services again.

I accidentally bought the deal in Pennsylvania. The tech I spoke with was very friendly.

We desparately needed the carpets cleaned. We communicated via email about the date and time of the cleaning. When he came, he introduced himself, reviewed part of the carpet that needed to be repaired, and explained all that he was going to do. We asked about the carpet protection and he was very honest about what it will and will not do. He said he would be about 2 hours and he was right on time. We will definitely use Live by the Brush again in the next 4 months.

Walter arrived about 15 minutes early and got right to work. He was finished in about an hour. He did a better job than the big name company we used last time we had this service performed.

Walter was punctual (quite early actually - we weren't home yet when he arrived both times!), timely, and very professional. A real gentleman. The area rug turned out great; the carpet unfortunately didn't dry well and smelled bad for weeks after cleaning. Apparently the type of carpet we have is hard to clean. We contacted Walter about the lingering smell and stickiness in the rug, and he came back right away to deodorize it and scrub a couple spots some more. Now, about 6 weeks later, it finally smells clean in the room with the carpet. The carpet still doesn't look great, but I guess it's because we really need to replace it. Overall, the company was very responsive; unfortunately we did not have the result we wanted with the carpet, but I'm not sure it was really his fault.

This went very well. Walter did a great job and was very nice, professional and knowledgeable. This originated as carpet cleaning for 2 rooms and expanded to include the stretching of my carpet to flatten out bumps. The additional charge for the repair was very reasonable. It was a very good experience. I'm a happy customer!

Walter was professional, arrived on time. The entire job was a little over two hours. He was able to remove old stains on the bedroom carpet. Outside of the deal, he cleaned 6 dinning room chairs for $42.

Walter came on time (a little early actually). He was very professional looking and got right to work. The carpets came out really good and smelled good even. I love the detailed marks in the rug when he's finished makes them look brand new again. I usually use another cleaner that is known for having the carpets dry quickly because I worry about mold as well as the fact that I have a senior dog who is incontinent and has frequent accidents and the odor while the rugs are wet is not pleasant. The deodorizer Walter used smelled fresh and clean afterward. The rugs were done at noon and did not dry until late in the evening. However for the price and the good job it was worth some extra wetness. I have recommended Walter to several of my friends and will continue to use him in the future. He is also big, strong and quite handsome which certainly helps.

Very well. Nice, efficient, and thorough

Walter did a great job. He was on time, very courteous, and is an extremely hard worker. He spent a lot of time getting the carpets cleaned. For sure I will recommend him and also use him in the future.

Walter did a fantastic job! The stairs leading down to the basement were heavily stained by the removal of an old leaky refrigerator, but Walter got them looking like new. I'm thrilled to have that corner of the room restretched and looking neat again. He did an amazing job from start to finish. I will definitely use Live by the Brush again and recommend the company to friends.

He was fabulous and called me quickly after I purchased the deal. Unfortunately, I can't find the time where I could make it work.

Scheduled appointment within a few days. He arrived early and went right to work. He was efficient and fast. Floors look great. I could not be more pleased.

Walter did an excellent job on cleaning my carpets. I really liked that he shampooed the carpets first and then used the extractor. It's very difficult to find someone to do that. The carpets were heavily soiled in the traffic areas and Walter worked very hard to clean those areas. While he was here, I asked his opinion on the family room carpet. They were in dire need of restretching. Walter took care of that problem while he was here. Walter is very professional, punctual, respectful and reasonable. I would highly recommend Walter to anyone needing their carpets cleaned. In the future, "Live by the Brush" is the only company I would use for my carpet cleaning needs.

My husband was home on the day of the cleaning and this report is his experience. Contractor called on day of appointment and indicated he was running late and when he would arrive. He arrived promptly at the changed time and worked continuously to shampoo the carpets, scrubbing the spotted sections thoroughly and then drying the carpet. We had requested that the shampoo contain no oder or scented deodorant, and there was no oder during or following the cleaning. We had discussed the parking situation in our garage, which is costly, and because my husband was pleased with the service, offered to defray the garage costs. The service was still cheaper than a nationally advertised company, and the business owner himself performed the service.

Looks like new. Have been telling people at work all morning what a great job he did. Will definitely use this company again!
