Description of Work: She came to my home so early that she decided to park in the lot of the church nearby. Finally she told me she came to the house and called ... my landline but that had, unbeknownst to me, come unplugged and so battery was dead and so she knocked on the door..I was upstairs and did not hear her. She could have opened the door a crack and called to me... I just happened to look out the window and saw a car in the drive...so I quick threw on some clothes..but by that time she was gone. I had to track her phone number down and finally came on line to look her number up here and found it. I called and she told me she was already 20 minutes away..well she told me where she was and well she refused to come back. Saying that since I had cancelled the first appt. we had..which I did because there was a family emergency while we were out of town and I had even called her to let her know that I could not make it. But it would appear that she held that against me. She seems to be a very sweet person. I am sure once she gets with a client all goes well, but I do not believe that flexibility is not one of her strong suits. I really was taken aback that she held my cancellation against me. We just were not suited to be connected. I think the dear Lord helped me out on that one. I wish her all the best. I ended up finding someone else through your list who happens to live 5 minutes away and who is giving me a good rate because I live so close to her. Jenn is doing a fine job for me. Thank you God!

[Member Name Removed], I am just now seeing this review and while it has been awhile since our last conversation, I felt like your review of me needed some clarification. I appreciate that you did include in your review that you did cancel the first appointment. For more detail I will add that you didn't contact me to cancel, I actually called you the night before to confirm our appointment and that is when you told me you had forgotten all about the scheduled consultation with the craziness of the holidays and that you would need to cancel/reschedule. I do understand when emergencies happen and cancellations need to take place, but you never mentioned an emergency. Also, when I schedule appointments with clients that means I have to turn away other clients who call and request my availability. To clarify what happened the day of our rescheduled appointment was that I arrived to your home extremely early and waited until our appointment time to knock at your door. I did this because I realize that not all clients are ready for me to arrive earlier than scheduled. When I knocked at your door I actually saw you sitting at your kitchen table. You promptly got up and disappeared from site. I never saw you again. I waited a minute and knocked a few more times. I then went to my car and called the number you gave me. It was disconnected. I waited 10 minutes before leaving your home. You called me when I was more than half way home and asked me to return, at this point I felt like I had been very flexible and accommodating to you and I declined to return. You told me you had been in the shower when I knocked and that is why you hadn't answered the door. I felt like I was very understanding to your explanations, but realized that it might be best if you found someone else with which to work. I will also note that I never charged you any money for the cancellation or the missed appointment, even though I drove more than an hour roundtrip and you never answered the door. Regarding my fees, when we first spoke I let you know that you lived quite a bit outside my "free" travel area, but I was willing to make an exception for you because you were so overwhelmed by the task at hand. I am pleased that you found someone local and I hope you have had success with your quest for organization.

She is wonderful, she has great ideas on how things should be but will check with you before doing them. She is very reliable and extremely honest. She is a former teacher with the patience of a Saint. She planned children's parties and is even great with details. She'll even get birthday stamps to put on the envelopes. It was $40 an hour.
Description of Work: She planned and organized my wedding, she organized my husband's office. She helps us with everything; she also does buffets and banquets.
