Description of Work: They will put in indoor outdoor carpet on our patio and front porch, install retractable solar shades on the back porch, and install a handrail on inside stairs and extend a bannister so that it is in compliance.

Description of Work: I would work with Dan and his crew again. They was on time, kept me informed with every step, they respected my home. The crew was clean and knowledgeable for this job. The job they did was all new blown in insulation, baffles between all the beams and sealed around any areas in the attic that left in air. They re-piped two bathroom fans and added four new vents to the roof. They did a great job.

Description of Work: Mike came over and gave me some good ideas for my family room. However, the quote was outrageous. $14,000 to install a door, baseboard heat and a closet is absurd. When I told him I thought his quote was ridiculous, he replied that he had some other options, but never followed up. I subsequently received a quote from another "A" rated contractor on Angie's List that was less than half this price.

Description of Work: Replace shingles over kitchen area where water leaked. Also, patched drywall where leak occurred.

Description of Work: Came to the house measured for a sunsetter awning and went over the different types and showed me sample fabric to choose from. They then ordered and installed a sunsetter awning in a very timely manner. Job was very professional and the workers were really nice and completely cleaned up after themselves.

Description of Work: This company did not perform any services for us. Their estimator (aka aggressive salesman) gave us a presentation (including pictures of jobs, employees, average cost of remodeling for our area, etc) along with reading from a 3 ring binder. He was here for quite a while so we were really expecting a detailed estimate. One week later he returned and told us the price verbally. I asked for the written estimate but he said they only do those if you're going to have them perform the work. I ask if he could at least write the amount down. He wrote his name, phone number and the price on a piece of notebook paper and that was it. We were really disappointed after reading the reviews here on Angie's list. We felt like we were dealing with a used car salesman!

After several meetings with Dan, the owner, we arrived at the following specifications. New addition to rear of house: Remove existing brick and concrete patio. Excavate for crawlspace foundation with vapor barrier and rough concrete base at soil. Install concrete footings and columns for beam support. Replace existing sub panel with larger panel to accommodate new electrical requirements. Construct new addition as per drawing. To include overlay roof onto main house. Style to be hip. Crawl space is 2” Dow foam glued to foundation wall. New addition to have electric baseboard heat with integral thermostats at each baseboard unit. New addition specifications to include the following: Office and sunroom include cable and phone outlets (total 7 of each) Dual phone jacks as per customer. Windows are Great Lakes new construction series, double hung white with Hi-R glass Flooring is carpet at sunroom, low nap carpet at office and sheet vinyl at laundry and powder room. Interior finish (other than laundry) is white painted plaster and oak natural clearcoat ranch style trim. Laundry walls are smooth finish. Interior doors are Birch flush, natural clearcoat. Exterior finish is white Hardiboard vertical siding in white. Soffit, fascia and shingles to match existing. Patio door is Great Lakes new construction series. Exterior patio door includes Hi-R glass. Entrance doors are steel pre-hung clear ½ lite and full glass style with white prefinished woodgrain skin. Customer will provide locksets for exterior doors Laundry area includes kitchen style wall cabinet with undercabinet lighting. Laundry alcove includes splash sink, bi-fold doors and shelf over washer and dryer. Powder room fixtures are white and chrome. Install power strips at office as per customer Frame as needed and install corner gas fireplace with vent thru roof. Parts provided by customer. Install customer's 3 ceiling fans at family room laundry and office. Install new door at front entrance. Style # BC 684 EC white w/ black accent. Install 3 customer supplied storm doors. Remove existing rear storm door and cap frame with pvc vinyl. Materials: All materials / styles/colors to be selected, approved and documented prior to start. All of the above items were completed in a timely manner.

Description of Work: I was really impressed by Dan's company book he showed us when he came out to give us an estimate which outlined numerous thank you's and compliments from past customersgreater than He sold us windows and his crew did an excellent job installing them and cleaning up after the job. The windows are teriffic and Loebrich Contracting has become our family contractor. He is the only contractor in Johnstown I trust to work in my home. Dan delivers what he promises and I have recommended Loebrichs to my friends and family with confidence.

Description of Work: The date of service I'm not sure of, but I was very disappointed with Dan, the owner. I drew plans myself for an addition of an upstairs to my house, these plans were down to the inch. The men were working on the floor above me when I went to see the progress. Needless to say "OMG" I asked "what is this" It was nothing like my plans.. the man said "the plans got wet so we just put the walls where we thought they were supposed to be". I was downstairs and nobody could come and ask. I was also given a lower grade window in the upstairs than I paid for and my furniture faded because of the sun. I also have NO CORNERS in the upstairs. I paid for the shell to be completed and my family would do the inside work. I needed to put trim in the corners ... and found that there was nothing to nail it to... no boards in the corners. I have electrical boxes where the wires were "stuffed" in and the covers will not fit because the box is recessed from the wall. I have 2 windows that his men replaced in my dining and living room that leak anytime it rains. Water from the roof runs down the side of the house and right into the window seal. I have contacted Dan on several occasions and no resolution was made. Dan was eager to take the money for the job, but when I found things wrong... thats another story. The only thing that was "finished" during the construction was a bathroom upstairs and there we have some issues... the toilet ran continuously because it was not level or braced and the drain pipe from the sink is lower on the sink end.. how does this help draining.. NOT! The pipes from the shower burst and flooded my dining room because the hookups to the shower water supply were done poorly. NEVER USE THIS COMPANY FOR ANYTHING. NO GUARANTEES AND CERTAINLY NOT PROFESSIONAL.
