Even when you think you have purchased the better furniture at Raymour & Flanigan----It's junk Don't buy here
Description of Work: March 18, 2008 purchased bedroom set at Raymour & Flanigan, Exton, PA. Sales person was very nice. No problem on delivery. 3 Years and 4 months later,Our Bed rail started to crack. We called for service. We were told we should have purchased an extended warranty. We were only covered for three years. However they would send someone out on monday to look at it. (7-11-11) The tech would call on saturday before, to confirm. No call. On monday morning July 11, the bed rail broke with me in the bed. One half of our bed was now on the floor. I started calling the store at 8:30-Told to call service center. Could not speak to a person----Just leave a message. I left 3 or 4 messages. I called the store at around 1 pm, and ask if they could connect me directly, to service. They did, to a real person. I was told, our appointment was for the next week July 18th. I explained that the bed was broken & on the floor. They could not send anyone out, before the 18th. My husband made a temporary repair, so we could sleep in the bed.. On the 17th (sun) a tech called to confirm appointment for monday. All he was to do, was inspect the bed, no guarantee they could do any thing. Andre came out, had a camera, but took no pictures. I showed him the pictures I had taken. He said for me to email Connie the pictures.Tech stated that he only saw a bed rail break, when a kid had been jumping on the bed. My 10 pound cat jumped up on the bed, as he said that. I said " Here is the only kid in our house and I don't think he broke the bed. Connie was to call me later with her email address. She called at 5:40 pm left a message "how did your repairs go? Any questions please call" I called and left her a message-"No repairs were made, please call me with your email address, so I may send you the pictures". No return call. So I called again on wednesday. No return call. So I called again on friday and believe it or not Connie answered the phone. Gave me her email. Said they would look at pictures on monday, but didn't think they could do anything. It's monday ---No call. We purchased a solid wood bedroom set, as not to get junk. My husband & I are both thin, no weight issues. Kids are grown and out of the house, for 10 plus years. I do not feel this bed should have broken. $6,200.00 is too much to spend, to have your mattress & box springs on the floor, in 3 years.
