Evergreen Chimney

The work was performed professionally and the technician was knowledgeable in cleaning the chimney to our wood burning stove.

came out for what I thought was a consultation and ended up costing over $400. was not happy that they did not consult with me first. Still have work that needs repair.

We do not recommend Evergreen for steel chimney replacement work!!! We brought Evergreen in to replace a stainless steel chimney on a BRAND NEW steel roof. After Evergreen replaced the chimney, the roof leaked around the base of the chimney, there were NO leaks at all before the new chimney installation. We came to find out that Evergreen had removed the NEW rubber boot (installed by the roofing company) that sealed the point where the original steel chimney went through the roof, and they installed the upper edge of the chimney roof flashing ON TOP OF the steel roofing causing all of the roof runoff to flow under the flashing, directly into the attic and into the living room!! Evergreen returned multiple times over the course of two months to fix the leak by adding wads of silicone caulking, each time stating they guaranteed it was fixed. In all of Evergreens repair attempts they NEVER reinstalled the chimney flashing properly with the upper edge under the steel roof and did not stop the leak. I finally resorted to contacting the original steel roofing contractor who cleaned up Evergreens failed silicone mess and reinstalled the chimney flashing properly. The result is NO leaks in the past 8 months through some very heavy rains. Perhaps Evergreen is capable of cleaning chimneys but, we do not plan to ever let them back on our roof to find out!

Evergreen did a superb job in installing a new liner, new cap and some minor masonry repairs. I strongly recommend them to others. However, I do take issue with their clean-up. Chimney work is dirty work, but they did not take much precaution to minimize the spread of schmutz throughout the basement. No tarps were deployed, no heads up to me to deploy my tarps. Hence the lower rating for "customer service".

I had a very was good experience. Communication was very good, they were early to do the work, the work was completed in good time. The job was done right!

They are courteous, on time and clean up. They took pains to match the paint I wanted ( chimney redo) I highly recommend.

One star is for the understudy who came back to finish the job.

Great job repairing the stonework and adding a new cap to my fireplace chimney.

Excellent workmanship in restoring my builder basic fireplace that was no longer functional. Completed the work quickly, met my expectation. The fireplace was not operational, the lining was cracked, as was the hearth/floor of it. There was an opening that served as a possible connection for a propane connection that caused heat to escape to the outside and melt the siding on the chimney near the air vent. They replaced the liner with fire bricks, and replaced the hearth. The opening was sealed, and the fireplace doors were restored. Iâ m very pleased with the quality of workmanship and the price was very reasonable for what was done. I would High;y recommend this company for any fireplace work.

These guys did a beautiful job for the chimney repairs that I needed. I couldn't ask for more,but they did fix another little problem for me.Great job guys.

The provided a response to a propane fireplace issue we were having. $99 for in home check. They didn?t even know how to turn it on. One man was slightly unprofessional the other very professional. I wish they had been more upfront about capabilities, I think they?re probably great for chimney, etc. but I would have at least expected them to know how to turn it on. They just told us to buy another one.

The price was $1200.00 that they quoted. Midway through the job they needed an extra $ 1000.00. I was charged $2200.00 for that job. They scratched up my pellet stove and they did not have a clue of what they were doing. They clearly never installed a pellet insert before . I had to assist them on how it was supposed to be done. I would never hire them again or recommend them. I set up the parts for them but somehow they miss placed parts that were important to finish the job. Very bad experience, next time I will hire a company that knows what they are doing.

while there were scheduling issues when we could finally make it work the work itself was fantastic I am overly pleased with the speed and accuracy in which everything was finished. the quote for repairs was definitely very reasonable and will definitely be hiring again
