Description of Work: I have several electrical projects that need to be completed and I just never hired anyone to get them done. When I saw the Angie's List deal for an electrician in my town, I decided to purchase it and finally get started. A fixture in the bathroom needed to be repaired, I thought it would be a half hour project that was completed in probably 5 minutes. Most of the outlets in the house are old and plugs easily fall out of them. I wanted to have them replaced with new 3 prong outlets. I purchased the outlets, face plates and grounding wires at Lowes to have them available. Steve showed up right on time. I showed him what I bought at Lowes and he explained to me why it couldn't be used if the individual electrical boxes aren't grounded, as my home is 90 yrs old with knob & tube wiring. He explained the electrical code to me, checked outlets for compliance, replaced selected old/worn outlets with new two prong plugs & faceplates and switched an unused 2nd phone line to my main house #. I will be calling him back for more of my projects, including replacing outdoor low voltage lighting.

Description of Work: Provided a really thorough, professional, and honest estimate walk through, to the point of saying he was not the best person for the job (a larger company could do it for less). We ended up going with a larger company, but plan to use Steve for future projects.

Description of Work: Called Brady & Sons Monday morning to get some electrical work done for home inspection. They understood that it needed to be done asap and came out at end of the day.
