I never knew I could be so excited about an electrician, but I seriously could not wait to get back to my computer and write this review. We had had another electrician come to our place a few years back, and take hours and hours to do a few things for us - even though that guy's rates were cheap, we later discovered problems with some of the stuff he wired for us. So, when I saw Steve Brady's coupon on Angie's list for two hours of electrical service, I jumped at it. I knew that I had way more than 2 hours of work here, but I figured getting a jump on two hours worth would be a good head start. Steve totally amazed me at how FAST he was - and thorough. While the other dude treated my house like a complicated puzzle that took hours to figure out, Steve just went from one thing to another, fixing things faster than I could even believe he was already done. Along the way, he showed me where wires weren't spliced properly, where things hadn't been done correctly, to the point where I started asking him to check outlets other people had installed (which I had no issues with) to make sure they were done properly (and they weren't!) So, along with my original projects, plus the extra things I asked him to check, I was just so blown away that he got everything done in three hours (that's only one hour more than my coupon) and I can tell you, his normal rate for one hour is worth anyone else's cheaper two or three hour rate, because he gets that much done, fast, and correctly. He also had the right stuff on his truck for what I forgot to pick up at Home Depot in terms of switches and outlet covers and so forth. I will definitely call no one else except Steve as long as I live in this area for any other lighting I need installed or anything electrical I ever need done again - when you find someone as skilled and efficient and friendly as this, you hang on to them because they are worth their weight in gold! I ended up tipping him even MORE than what he charged...he just was a super electrician and his work was exemplary.

Steve was punctual, worked diligently, explained everything needed and why. He was very polite and professional and finished on time. He insisted upon cleaning up afterwards. I will definately call him for future electrical needs.

Steve did a wonderful job! He put a drop cloth near the front door and took his shoes off (it was raining). He put another drop cloth in the area that he was working. He was very friendly and did a very professional job in about an hour. He cleaned up everything by himself and took all the trash with him. I would use him again and I would recommend him to anyone that needs electrical work.

Even though it was a Saturday, and ended up raining most of the time, Stephen arrived on time (8:00 am), took off his shoes before entering the house (!), and did the job 18' in the air on a ladder in the rain. 'nuff said... Oh, and great communication both by email and phone in estimating, planning, and scheduling (to my needs) the job. And gave me advice on how to do a simple (within my capabilities) electrical repair on a kitchen light. Well done!

It went great- he called in route to say he would be a few minutes late because of traffic- he kept to his word and arrived only 10 minutes late. He installed 2 overhead fixtures and replaced a broken switch. He was quick, professional, and pleasant- I would definitely use his services again.

Stephen was prompt, diagnosed the issue and fixed it in a clean and professional manner. We would highly recommend him for anyone getting electrical work done in Delaware County.

Steve was fantastic. He came to the house to see what needed to be done and promptly got back to me with the quote. He was knowledgeable, personable and efficient. He explained what my options were for the work he was performing. He explained exactly what he was going to do in terms i could understand. The day he came to do the work he was on time and very professional. Steve goes out of his way to make sure things are done correctly and in a timely manner. The quoted price is exactly what i paid. I will definitely hire Steve again.

I first met Steve when he was working as a subcontractor on a renovation project at my home. He so impressed me that I knew he was the one for the project we just completed. This project went very well with no problems. Steve kept me very informed from start to finish. He told me he would arrive at 8:00 A.M and he was there at my door at 8:00 A.M. He emailed me and called me in advance to confirm the scheduled arrival. When he arrived, he removed his shoes before entering the house, went over the job with me to assure we were both in tune, and put his helpers straight to work digging a trench in my yard to run the wiring to the garage, while he started the prep work to run the new wiring from my basement to the garage. After running the wiring, the trench was filled in, packed down, and the grass relaid. All of this impressed me, but what impressed me most was the quality of his work, which was top notch and in full compliance with applicable codes. All the wiring was perfectly dressed and secured. He was also very patient in answering my questions as to why certain things had to be done (codes). When he left, everything was cleaned up. He also said, "I know you won't have any problems, but if you do have a question about anything I did, just call." I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a good electrician.
