If you insist upon reading further, you should know that Steve arrived on time, took great care with our home, and provided tremendous educational experience for homeowner, who had undertaken a DIY wiring project while finishing a portion of our basement. He was PATIENT with and RESPECTFUL to the amateur DIY guy throughout the time spent here, answered all questions, explained everything thoroughly, and demonstrated what he was doing as he went. His charge was modest in comparison to both the job he did and the way he did it. Steve is a consummate professional, and I cannot recommend him highly enough. Another Angie's List gem of a find!!!!!!!!!

Steve did an excellent job. He was very professional and made sure work areas were protected from debris.

Arrived exactly as agreed, went right to work checking light san doublets and identified in 20 minutes where short was occurring, replaced faulty ground fault and blown receptacle then fixed the bad circuit breaker at panel. Lights and outlets all back up and running and tested twice to be sure all done in about 1 1/2 hours. Steve also provided some advice on how to approach any future line additions which I am considering. I am fairly comfortable doing a lot of this work myself but once I get to the power panel, I let a pro handle it and Steve is a true pro. Until I retired, I supervised facilities for a 10 building campus and only wish I had someone like Steve then. I highly recommend Brady and Son.

Total professionalism from the first phone call to the job's completion. His estimate was similar to others I received but Steve's expertise and professionalism were impressive and inspired my confidence. I wanted the job done within a particular five-day time window, which was coming up soon, and he accommodated that need. On the day of the job he arrived promptly, to the minute, at the time promised. It was a brutally cold day -- around 10°F -- and all the work was outdoors or in the unheated garage and attic but Steve somehow managed to keep up good manual dexterity and didn't have a word of complaint. He put down drop cloths between the door and the attic stairs and left all work areas immaculately clean. Considering how much time the job took, his price was very fair, and he even knocked $75 off the original estimated price because one of the tasks turned out to be less work than he had expected. That kind of honesty is rare and refreshing. I'm lucky and grateful to have found such a good service provider. Steve and son will get my repeat business and my referrals to friends and neighbors!

Excellent suggestion on flush mounting vs. using the extension pole. Looks great. Much cleaner.

I had them in to figure out outlets and switches not working in our kitchen. Some were wired wrong and they fixed them to be correct. Also added and outlet in my basement where they noticed it ought to be a GFI outlet. Not much for long reviews...they came ..did the job right...and I would definitely hire them again even without any special promotion. I'm glad I chose them for the job.

Steve was truly expert at getting things done. He arrived at 8:00 each morning, and got right to work. |He had every tool and necessary item on the truck. When he added the extra panel in the basement, he mounted it securely onto the wall, cutting a thick piece of wood to the perfect sizes. In every case he used high quality material. |After he installed the lamp post and a light sensor, it did not work. He tested everything then determined it was a faulty sensor (New-it happens) which he replaced. Digging out the old pole was time consuming and difficult due to the depth and amount of rock and concrete that was used 55 years ago. He had all the right tools and |went way down to make sure our new post will last for another 55 years. In order to allow the concrete to dry, he came back today to finish the job, again to make certain that everything would be secure. We were impressed with Brady & Son as far as price, work ethic, knowledge, ability and professional work. Steve is our electrician for life! I would trust him with any job! He is justifiably proud of his working skill and perfection.

Working with Steve was pure Awesomeness...(if that is a actual word) he was laid back and professional didn't try to sell me anything but the quality work he provided...Steve is not only the owner of the company but does the work himself. He came to my home provided a reasonable quote for the work i needed as well as his professional opinion. On the day the work was to be done he was on time and respectful of my home by placing drop cloths everywhere that he was going to be working he not only completed all the task to my satisfaction he cleaned up after himself...this is something that all vendors should do but rarely seen anymore. As a new home owner in a new area i was very leery of service company's without a personal recommendation, but i lucked out with Steve, he went above and beyond not only giving me great service, he also gave me recommendations for other vendors for other jobs needed at my home. i would highly recommend him to my neighbors and others in my network. I already have other jobs in mind for him to come out and do.

It went very well. He did suggestions on what we can do in the winter to save electrical bills. He was very good. He is professional, prompt and did everything that we wanted him to do. He was friendly and polite. He fixed everything.

He was here when promised and finished in a timely manner. His work was meticulous and he cleaned the work areas, inside and outside. I felt very comfortable having him in my home. I will use him for all of my future electrical work.

Started noticing the lights dimming when power appliances were turning on. Received a Big Deal for electrical service on Angies List (perfect timing) for Brady and Son Electric. Read the reviews and was impressed by what was written by the reviewers and purchased the Big Deal. Received an email from Steve and after some scheduling problems on my end, Steve came over the night before the work was to be performed and we went over my concerns and he described what he would do for the dimming issue and he found some items that were not up to current code and suggested addressing them (I own a 60+ year old home). Because the work was more than the Big Deal, Steve immediately emailed an estimate after his visit, and again was accommodating to our schedule. Steve came over the following day and went over the power supply, found the problem and repaired it - no more dimming lights!! He also addressed the code upgrade issues. I particularly liked the suggestions and honesty with other work that we are planning on doing. Steve could have used scare tactics, but he didn't. Frankly I am a hard sale with new service providers, but once I find someone I trust I stay with them and I will stay with Brady & Son Electric.

Stephen showed up on time. There were a good many problems installing this thermostat to a boiler that has 2 circulators. The thermostat I had purchased was defective so another had to be purchased then installed. He had to come back a second day to finish the job. The thermostat works well. I would hire Stephen again.

Very well. Steve was on time and very professional. He had a cover to keep the carpets from becoming dirty. He did a quick review of things that needed to be updated - explained things as he went along.He worked with the most pressing problems first. He was very clear about what needed to be done and what he was doing. I asked him for pricing on some other electrical work I needed done - he did that as well. I liked his price. We set a time for when he could come in to do the work.

I was extremely pleased. Steve Brady was prompt, courteous, extremely knowledgeable, neat and efficient. He answered all of my questions and explained my electrical system to me in terms I could understand. I will definitely use him again.

(First - my apologies to Stephen Brady for the delay in posting this rave review.) I must admit that after desperately seeking and initially failing to find a satisfactory electrician on Angie's List, I was given Stephen Brady's name/number by my carpet installer, who raved about Stephen Brady as a person and had great things to say about his work ethic. Only after meeting Stephen Brady did I discover that he actually can be found on Angie's List. I believe our first meeting occurred in June of 2014 at my home, where Mr. Brady arrived to discuss the work I needed done and to provide a free estimate. Not only did he arrive on time, he was clean, neat and courteous. After discussing what I was looking for, he respectfully offered some advice and suggestions that I had not thought of (very proactive young man). I was thrilled about and promptly approved his suggestions, at which time he gave me a reasonable quote that I agreed to pay. Since he had to purchase some parts to start the job, he requested all but $100 up front; the last $100 to be paid upon completion of the work. I explained to Mr. Brady that would be painting my room, so it would be great if he could do the messy work needed (cutting holes in my ceiling, etc.), then return to complete the installation after the painting was done, and he agreed. On 7/5/14, Mr. Brady arrived on time to begin the installation of my light fixtures. He was again clean, neat and courteous, as well as confident about his work, and very pleasant. When he finished his work that day I told him I would call to follow-up after the painting was complete, so he could return to finish the job. On 8/3/14 Mr. Brady returned, again on time, to complete the lighting and fan installation, at which time I paid him the remaining $100 owed. I was absolutely thrilled with every aspect of his presentation and the work that he completed in my home, and I will no doubt utilize his services again in the future, as well as recommend him highly to others (as I have already done.)

Fabulous work by Steve Brady. I had bought an Angie's List deal for a ceiling fan install and everything worked out well. I have scheduled more work to be completed in the coming weeks. Steve was very responsive via email and text, showed up on time and did a great job. Will definitely recommend and use again.

We purchased a new home so we had a laundry list of items for Stephen to take care of. There were a couple of road blocks due to the age of the home, but he made prompt suggestions and work-arounds to get the jobs done. Most notably, he spotted a wire rated for 20 AMPs sitting in a 40 AMP circuit breaker. This was a potential fire hazard, and wasn't even caught by the inspector. We plan to use Stephen again for our needs during the Winter to spring transition. Great work!

Steve did a great job-he arrived right on schedule and completed the installation. He left the place immaculate. Steve was very professional and took the time to answer all questions and explain how the transfer switch worked. He helped us think through the decision to install a 6 vs. 10 switch. Steve's prices are extremely reasonable. We would definitely use him again for any other electrical work we might need in the future.
