That was fine, no problems. Everything turned out ok. They did charge me for the freon.

My major concern was how loud my intake ducts were in one of my bedrooms. Russell came to see the job and give me an estimate. He took a very through look at the entire situation and came up with a plan to a very tricky situation. He removed unnecessary ductwork from the ceiling, thus eliminating some noise from that part of the equation. He then installed a new intake vent on my first floor, thus distributing the intake air more evenly. Finally, he installed a lined, noise absorbing duct at my furnace intake. The result was that my entire system was quieted very much to my expectations, and even beyond. This company was professional, knowledgeable, hard-working and did a wonderful job overall. I would recommend Creative Comfort Solutions to anyone needing similar work to be done.

Mike and Russell are great to work with. They went above and beyond and even relocated ductwork they'd installed when we realized it would be in the way of plumbing. I HIGHLY recommend them!!!

From the beginning consult with estimate to the final walk through, everything went according to plan. The price never changed, they used the best products and the quality is amazing! I would highly suggest this company for any HVAC needs. Their price was $4-5K cheaper than every other company in the area and they installed the highest SEER rated Carrier.

First class service from start to finish. Michael was the only HVAC contractor of the 5 I got bids from who really listened to what I wanted and then bid for that installation. The bid was competitive, and Russell and his crew did a brilliant job of working around awkward old-house issues (joists that don't line up, plaster and lath ceilings etc). They were quick, professional and obviously knew their stuff. Highly recommended.

Of the four contractors we contacted, Russell's bid was in the middle, but he was recommended highly to us and was the most responsive and helpful. We had very specific dates when we needed to do the installation, and Russell showed up on time and got the work done on schedule. He supervised the whole installation. His team made one extra hole by mistake in the ceiling, and Russell came himself and patched it. He always responded quickly to calls or emails. We had some issues with insulation after the A/C was installed, and Russell followed up and put us in touch with a colleague of his who could do the necessary work for a reasonable price. He also said it was fine if we wanted to use our own person. Main thing is that he cares about his product, wants it to perform well and customers to be satisfied. He was willing to follow up in instances when he wasn't getting a direct profit from it. We were glad we paid a little extra money and now have a system we're happy with. We'll recommend him to others. The only additional thing we'd recommend to others considering a high-velocity system in a new house is to perhaps check heating bills from the previous years to make sure the house is energy-efficient enough to get good performance from the system.

They were in and out within 2-3 days, no problems. We noticed a small leak around the unit about a week later, called them to come back, and they came out very quickly, fixed the problem, and no issues since (no cost). A/C works great, would recommend and use again. thanks!

From start to finish this was an excellent experience. Mike Gill visited with us to assess the situation and gave us his ideas. He was very professional and up front about the work. He applied a $500 Angie's List Discount to the price. His estimate was $1000 lower than our highest estimate and he offered to come back a few days later to discuss any questions we might have. I was a little nervous because I was not sure what the unit would look like in the room. Our situation involved a second floor master bedroom in our Cape style house that was ungodly hot in the summer. We had a portable air conditioning unit for 5 years but I could not stand the noise and was not able to sleep with it running. I wanted assurance that whatever unit we used would be quiet. The crew and Mike arrived as scheduled and the crew was very careful about covering up the hardwood floors and steps leading to the area. Russell told us they would have to make a cut in the drywall to snake the wires behind the wall and through a crawl space but assured us it would be minimal. The install took approximately 6 hours and the finished product looks great. We need to patch the wall and Mike contacted a business associate of his to look at the job which will cost $95 to repair. Not so bad! The crew vacuumed and cleaned the work areas so you could not even tell they were there. We are so happy with this unit. It is so quiet and comfortable now in our bedroom. I highly recommend Creative Comfort Solutions for their courtesy, professionalism, competitiveness and work ethic.

When I spoke to him, he said there was an $89 service call charge, but the information on his profile from Angie's List said something entirely different, so I decided to go with another contractor. He was very argumentative and unprofessional. I felt like he was taking advantage me by quoting me a different price than what was online. He said we were playing phone tag, then asked when we could schedule an appointment. So basically, the service call was $89 alone, then the actual work was going to be hundreds of dollars. I wouldn't recommend.

It went perfectly from estimate to completed job within the same week. Everyone knew exactly what they doing and the work went quickly and efficiently. I would not hesitate to use them again.

The job went well, scheduling on our part was tough and we had to push start date back several times. Lucky for us he was able to adjust his start date and meet our revised schedule. Russ and his men kept the site clean and finished the job as promised. The submittal process was brutal with the changes and details but it was completed by creative

We just moved into our house a month ago and wanted to have the AC system checked out before using it this summer. After searching A LOT on Angie's List and reading A LOT of reviews on heating/AC companies, I decided to go with Creative Comfort Solutions after reading the reviews. Everyone was friendly and professional from the time I made the appointment to when the work was completed. Our system is rather old, but the serviceman didn't try to push a new one on us unnecessarily. We'll definitely continue to use Creative Comfort Solutions in the future.

I was hit by a flood in Ambler which put 4 feet of water in my basement. Everything needed to be replaced. I got a lot of estimates to replace my heating system from large and small contractors. Some were higher and some were lower than the estimate I got from Creative Comfort. None of them offered a personalized solution like Russell did. He knew that efficiency was very important to me (as well as that fact that I didn't want loose everything in my basement if this [flood] should happen again) and made recommendations that addressed my concerns and improved my system immensely,. My heating bill is now about half of what is was and I can keep my house warmer. He installed a smaller but much more efficient boiler which is attached to the wall 3+ feet off the ground. It took only two days and everything went smoothly. Overall his prices were cheaper than everyone else I got an estimate from using a high efficiency boiler (96-98%). Russell from Creative Comfort told me right off the bat that he would not be the most expensive since he (the proprietor) would be on site doing the job. This is a small business with big company know how.

We hired Russ and his crew to design and implement a new heating and cooling system for a very large and old house from start to finish. Russ came out to the house to talk with us, and measured everything. Shortly thereafter we received a detailed quote with three different options. The first option was 15,000 (which was lower than any other quote we had received), the second option was 16,800, and the third option was $19,000. Russ did not pressure us toward any one option. He said we needed to assess our needs and how long we would thought we would stay in the house in order to find the correct ratio of up front cost to energy savings. Because we are gut rennovating our home, and we plan to live in it for a very long time, we opted for the more energy efficient option, which was the $19,000 option. The work was done on time, quickly, and efficiently. There was not one single item added to the balance when the job was finished. The quote we received was exactly what we paid. Russ's crew are knowledgeable, very nice, and hardworking. They came in at 7:30am each day and worked straight through until 3:30. The crew cleaned up every day, and at the end of eight days we had a wonderful brand new heating and air conditioning system. Our heating bills in our old house were over $300 per month. Our old house 1200 square feet. The new house is 2500 square feet and our highest heating bill has been $150. The results have been fantastic. I think our heating bill will decrease even more once he have our doors weather sealed. I have contacted Russ several times since we had the work done to ask questions or schedule additional services. Russ answers right away, and always makes time for us immediately. He also filled out and submitted all of the rebates available through the electric and gas companies as well as the manufacturer of the cooling unit. I have been thrilled with the service we received from Creative Comfort Solutions, and our new system has kept us warm and comfortable all winter long.

It went well - the quote was a little less than another company, reviews were good, I got the quote back quickly and they were available within a week, so, all good reasons to go with them. They did the job well - quickly and cleanly. A few weeks later, after I'd finished some other construction work and was living in the space I thought one room was still too cold. Russell said he was happy to come back out and install another vent at no charge in order to make good on his word (that his work would make the room comfortable.) And he did! I thought that was impressive, especially on such a small job.

The owner, Russell, came to the house and talked to me about what we wanted and how we used different areas of the house. He then went through the entire house taking measurements and drawing a detailed plan. He did the same in the basement, also taking a few pictures. Within a week he presented me with a detailed proposal, with a number of different options, in writing. When I had some questions, he came back and walked through the whole house again, dicussing the plan and answering my questions and concerns. All the work took about two and a half weeks. They were very flexible about working around other contractors working in the basement and accomodating our schedules. Russell oversaw the work every day and was always available by phone if questions arose. They cleaned up thoroughly every day and at the end of the job. The men working with Russell were friendly and very respectful. On the final day Russell walked me through the entire job, showed me how everything works and explained the maintenance. The price was great and there were no surprises with the final bill. It was an excellent ex perience from start to finish.
