Overall the project went just as anticipated (within schedule and budget). The team was responsive and the lead carpenter Matt was especially thorough, professional and did outstanding work. He raised questions to the homeowner and provided a professional opinion. Any change order costs were noted up front. Everyone was polite and respectful. The finished product is an awesome living space. My only suggestion would be to offer assistance with finish selections. Having to go to the various suppliers (granite, carpet, paint, tile, cabinet, etc.) and try to select coordinating products was challenging. Also, some of the suppliers were not near our home and we had to travel 30-40 minutes. Overall though I would highly recommend Matt and Executive Buildings.

I initially contracted Executive Builders and Remodelers to help level an addition to my home that had slowly become detached from the main structure of the building. My home is older (built in the 1920's) and somewhere along the line an addition was built to back of the house, next to kitchen (probably in the 50s or 60s). Later a deck was added as well (probably in the 90s). Unfortunately the foundation of this addition was not as sound as I would have hoped, and the wet weather (along with the weight of the deck) caused significant sag away from the house. I had hoped to shore up the foundation and bring it back the addition to level, and Steve Varasse, the Project Manager, agreed that it likely could be done. The idea was that new concrete foundations could be poured and then the addition could be jacked back into place. The cost of this work was initially $6800. Work began on November 4 with disassembly of the deck and some of the supporting woodwork on the addition. It immediately became apparent that the addition has some significant water damage at the base and would in no way be able to be jacked back into place. The project lead carpenter, Matt Malloy, immediately sent photos documenting the damage. Later that day, Project Manager Steve Varasse and I concurred that it would be best to rebuild the structure from the ground up. The task would cost an additional $8750. The next day, they brought in a dumpster and by the end of the day, the entire structure was demolished. I was impressed at the speed and efficiency that Matt and his crew worked through the demolition and with the actual rebuilding of the addition. They were able to pour the new concrete foundations for the addition and have a floor ready within a day of the demolition (they would also later add another concrete foundation for the deck). The entire new structure was framed and fitted by the end of the week! The crew also provided me with options on electrical, and we were finally able to get those additional external outlets we had long hoped for! The entire job was finally completed on November 23, and I couldn?t be happier with the results. I could not recommend Executive Builders and Remodelers highly enough; I would certainly plan on using them in the future!

This company was wonderful. He looked over my project and found someone that was able to do this work for me. They worked very hard, and they were very thorough with the work. They were very accomodating. If it wasn't for this company, I don't know if I could have found someone to do this work.

The project manager Matt was great. He knew i was very busy with work and i traveled over the summer so daily he would call me daily at 8 am like clock work to give me status updates. The company sub contracted the roofing project and siding in the interest of time and as soon as i had a question about timing on the roofing that i emailed to Executives management i got a response within the hour with updates and the next day received calls to make sure all was good and to my liking. I would highly recommend Executive home builders, as i did the research and met all sorts of contractors, but executive had the best presentation and bid process and they were thorough and very professional when they completed my project.

They were delightful on the front end and came exactly when they were supposed to. They promised me a quote the next week but then I never heard from them again. I called to follow up and got no response. They were very professional and very responsive initially. They were here exactly on time when they said they would be. ------------------------------------- Following my input to Angie's List, I received a very nice email apology from Steve Varrasse. Unlike so many "apologies" you receive, his accepted responsibility and did not shift blame to anyone except himself. It was perhaps the most sincere apology I've ever received. I considered the matter done, and had let it slip out of my mind. A few days later I received a letter in the mail containing another note and small token of apology. Both were completely unexpected, as I had considered the matter pleasantly resolved after receiving the initial email. I'm uncomfortable with an A rating given the initial challenges, but I have to say that such attention to detail strikes me as a good sign, and they definitely change my thoughts regarding responsiveness and professionalism.

Steve came out to give us an estimate and he was prompt and extremely professional. He took his time to answer all our questions and helped us with ideas on how to create our dream kitchen. There was no doubt that Executive Builders and Remodelers were the right team for us. Steve and his team were always on time, always respectful of our house and cleaned everything up at the end of each day. The job was done on time and on budget and is absolutely perfect!! We finally have our dream kitchen and couldn't be happier. Looking forward to having Steve come out again for our next project!! We will definitely recommend them to friends and family!!

They were extremely professional, organized, they have also help with the design chosen colors, furniture, I could ask for more they were really great and helpful. They were on time, they keep my house clean at all the time. I will highly recommend them to my friends, family. Karla

We love our new kitchen! The team at Executive was courteous and knowledgeable. They worked efficiently and were able to accommodate any requests that were made. Our contractor Dave even worked extra to get my kitchen done before expected guests were to arrive for an event. Any issues that came up during the renovations were addressed with professionalism. I had a few questions after my renovations were completed and the owner Steve was very happy to answer questions and address and possible further needs. I will definitely use Executive Builder again!

The work crew showed up on the first day, July 9th, and began tearing out the cabinets and flooring. By days end our new refrigerator was dented and paint chipped on our dryer. We agreed to cover the cost of the refrigerator and they painted over the chip. By jobs end the refrigerator received a second dent and my new microwave was also dented. After the first week the work progressed slowly with many time lapses and different workers showing up throughout. Two of these workers said it was their first day working for Executive. By jobs end the only member of the original crew was the job's supervisor. The window which was supposed to be ordered at the start of the job arrived after my new countertops were installed on August 15th. Overhead work was done after the countertop , sink and cooktop were installed. No cover was placed on these and as a result they were covered in cement dust, and debris. Next is the floor. I purchased beautiful porcelain planks. The tile setter was complaining that the floor was not level. I was told that I did not say I wanted a level floor and had I said that it would have cost me $7,000. more. I didn't know that I had to specify that I wanted a level floor. The tile setter then said that he would be able to install the tiles and not to worry. After a few months, the tiles started coming up at the ends and sinking in places. We mentioned this to Steve in December when he was over repairing damage to our water pipe caused by a nail used by one of his workers when installing baseboards in the kitchen. When I did not hear back from Steve, I called no less than 5 tile setters from Angie's list. They came out and all said the same thing. That it was installed improperly and could not be fixed. So I am left with a 550 square foot area that has to be torn up and redone. Steve has taken the position that we caused the problem by walking on it too soon. After they left I hired a painter to correct the work of the second painter they sent. This job was a nightmare.

We chose to go with historically appropriate tongue and groove pine wood for our porch. The floor was last replaced in 1997 but did not wear well and was rotted. We could not understand why we only got 15 years out of the job when the former contractor assured us he would be priming all surfaces which would insure 25-30 years. Steve and crew researched the best way to treat and prime the wood. During demolition they determined that the underside of the old flooring was never treated and the floor joists were original to the house and in good condition but too far apart which caused the floor to have too much bounce. The crew remediated the structure and put down a sturdy well prepped and primed floor and managed to put 2 coats of paint down over a few weeks waiting for mother nature to cooperate and deliver a few days of 50+ degree weather in December. They also custom built a lattice panel made from 2"X2" wood to match an existing structure, paint and all. The guys did a great job, from the punctual estimation process through completion of the work.

We contacted Steve with executive for a master bathroom redo/ and to move a washer and dryer to an adjacent closet. Steve responded promptly and showed up for the estimate when scheduled. His estimate was the most detailed he even had a few cost saving ideas to move the washer and dryer upstairs without loosing all of the closet space. The master bath was gutted a new shower installed, exhaust fan, lighting, electric and gas run for the washer and dryer, drainage for the washer, an archway installed, along with everything else that goes with a new bathroom. Steve showed up on the start day with Matt and Brody on time and ready to go. The floor was covered from my bedroom to the front door to keep it clean, they covered everything in the bedroom each day when working so as not to get dust or debris on anything and everyday they cleaned up. We are very happy with our new bathroom and laundry area and would recommend giving Executive a call if you have an upcoming project. The price was reasonable for the scope of the work and Matt and Brody did a great job. We hope to use them again on a future project.

Executive Builders helped draw up the plans for the kitchen. The demolition was messy, but Matt and Brody cleaned up every day after themselves. We had a couple of changes during the renovation that improved the overall finish. Originally we were going to keep the floor, but I'm so glad that Executive convinced me to replace it. All construction and renovations are difficult and messy, but Executive tried to make it as painless as possible. We weren't happy with the under counter lighting. Steve showed up and had the electrician replace it. I am very happy with my new kitchen!

Steve was on time for the estimate and was very professional. Once work began Nick was the contractor onsite. I can't say enough good things about Nick, he was wonderful. We ran into a delay on the shipment of windows which delayed completion by 3 weeks. Otherwise it was a job well done, he cleaned up every day and was on time every day he was expected.

Excellent quality work and supervision. Steve worked to be sure we were completely satisfied with the work and the workers. I would definitely call on Steve again.

Steve was prompt, responsive, and held to his quote. We are extremely happy with his crew that did the work. They went above and beyond the call of duty to make our new shower a piece of artwork. They consulted with us on every option possible to assure we received exactly what we wanted, and did the job with great craftsmanship and the highest quality products. I would recommend Steve and his crew for any remolding job to any neighbor who asks. Sometimes you have hesitation to do so, as was the case with our addition and barn. I wish I had Steve do that work as well. I look forward to working with Executive Builders and Remodelers again on several other projects that we have to complete in the next few years.

Steve and his crew were prompt, kept to the agreed upon budget, and gave us a professional looking finished basement. His crew worked late nights and weekends to get the job done on time, and we would strongly recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable contractor.

The services performed doesn't really describe what these guys had to do to create a space in my tiny 2BR condo to accommodate full size separate washer and dryer units. They had to remove the old single stacked W/D unit from a bathroom which included removing the toilet (and resetting it) carrying out the old W/D, repair the tile, cut back a faux separator wall and then they created a linen closet where the old W/D was - spackle, paint, tile repair. They took a walk in closet and converted half of it to house a full sized washer and dryer - a premium commodity to have in a 2BR condo. They had to add in the electricity for the hook up, water in/out, and finished off with loads of shelving. Maybe not a big deal all in all, but they fit all of this into a space and did not have more than a quarter inch to spare - no exaggeration. All of this work took less than a week and only two guys (Matt and Brodie) did the whole thing - one of them carried the old W/D out by himself (what a beast!!!) - AND they were the nicest, most professional, and accommodating workers I've ever had work on my place. No doubt I will have these guys back!!! Originally, I thought the price was a bit high, but it fell well within other estimates I received. When I consider what they ended up doing and what they had to go through to do it - they well-earned their money.

They did a fine job. One of their people came back about three days later to check up on the job. We recommended them to two or three of our neighbors. Their price was reasonable; it was in the middle of the estimates we got. Their punctuality was right on the mark. They cleaned up and took away all the demolition material and they cleaned the area. They really did a very nice job.

executive builders was responsive to me concerns. They started on time and worked consistently daily to finish the job promptly.The management and workers were professional and respectiful of me and our property. It was a very pleasant experience.

Their service was excellent. We had a very good interaction with them. They came out immediately and gave us a quote. They stuck to the quote. They did the work in the time they said it would take. They were very professional. The crew that was here was great. I would have them come back out to do other work.

Both projects went perfectly. The team was extremely professional, kept the work areas immaculate & were very conscious of keeping the mess to areas being worked on.

Work was started on 8/22/11 and was completed on 8/29/11 with small touch up work done on 8/30 & 8/31. Very professional, very clean. Total work done amounted to $9,100. Estimate was $8,900 but I ordered some higher end fixtures than what was included in the original estimate. I'm saving up to have my kitchen remodeled next year and Executive Builders will be the only contractor I call.
