We had a terrific experience with Executive. We worked with Steve, the owner, who provided the initial estimate, presented options at the showroom, and facilitated any changes. The team on the job daily was professional, knowledgeable, and thorough. Mike and Brandon arrived at 8 each day and stayed until at least 5:30. The entire job took about 4 ½ weeks and per agreed-upon budget. The electrician, plumber, sheetrock, and painting contractors also did a great job. Mike and Steve were easy to work with on changes and adjustments. We highly recommend Executive to anyone planning a renovation.

If I could give thse guys 10 stars, I would. From the first time I met Matt (the estimater) I was completely comfortable. He was very thorough, professional, and explained everything to my complete satisfaction. The estimate was submitted in a timely manner and I was pleasantly surprised with the cost--it was much less than I expected. Everything I wanted to do was possible. "Can't do it" was never a response. I went to the showroom to choose my carpeting, flooring, fixtures, etc. Ed was patient and helpful. We actually had a good time. Then I met Gene (the project manager) and the crew. All were professional and true gentlemen. Gene ("the genius" as my neighbors called him) had great ideas and fabulous suggestions. I could change my mind in midstream and they could turn on a dime to accomodate. Nothing was too much to ask. Matt, Gene, and Ed were always available to answer questions, and I had no qualms about leaving them alone in my home while I was at work. They arrived at 8am, took a brief lunch, and worked straight through until 4:30, cleaned up, and left for the day. Everyone I met (Oliver, Tony the electrician, the plumber (I forgot his name, sorry), the painters Joe and John) were wonderful. All so professional! My neighbors were so impressed, not only with their work ethics, but with the quality of their work. The final product is beyond my wildest expectations. The project came in on time and within budget. I would, and have, recommend this company to everyone! I have the family room, bedroom, guestrooms, bathroom, and closets that I've always wanted. What could have been a stressful experience was made so much easier by hiring Executive.

Executive Builders were very prompt and courteous when answering all our questions. Explained everything we asked for. Due to unexpected circumstances we couldn't use them at this time but will contact them when we can start our bathroom job.

I spent a significant amount of time with their representative Matt, discussing and personally walking through two projects I wanted them to complete (entire house window replacement and a garage addition), Matt told me he would have an estimate to me within the week. After a month of not hearing from them I contacted Matt and left a message. Two weeks passed and still no return call, so I called Matt again. He answered and said he had been in a car accident, but would get me the quote ASAP. Then another two weeks past so I called the main number to the company and asked to speak with the owner. The woman who answered my call said the owner was unavailable, but she would tell him the situation and he would get back to me that day. This was two weeks ago. This is more than just dropping the ball, it is lack of professionalism. I have read all the reviews on Angie's List regarding them and all I can say is those positive reviews are not the company and personnel I have met at Executive Builders and Remodelers. They have failed on SO MANY LEVELS that I would never use them. ******Update as of 9/30/14. I want to say that Executive Builders and Remodelers have gone above and beyond to prove their professionalism to me. Both Matt and Steve have reached out to me and although they could not take on my jobs at the moment, their care, concern and respect towards me will have me giving them a second chance. I was pleasantly surprised by this company's response in the last week. Other firms would have just blown this off, but Executive Builders and Remodelers went a higher route with the phone calls and sent me a $50.00 gift card for my trouble. Steve and his team have completely earned my respect, I wish more companies cared about potential clients like this firm does.

Summary: Kudos! We are VERY pleased with Executive Builders, and recommend them without hesitation. Bidding/Decision Making: Given the complexity and size of the project, we contacted seven different outfits. Two were too far away, and two declined to bid. Of the three bids that came in, Executive nailed that sweet spot of high value for moderate price. Beyond the immediate price/value proposition of the bid, Executive Builders brought additional value to the table that provided confidence. The owner, Steve Verasse, had diligently built an actual organization that systematically attended to its business, in all detail, which ranged from a show room from which materials can be handled and selected, to a warehouse and stock yard filled with tools and trucks, an appropriate level of automation, and a fairly deep bench of people and subcontractors that insulated my project from the ebb and flow of other projects. Of particular importance is the fact that the contract and payment schedule is setup on a milestone completion basis, which is ideal protection for all parties. Project Flow: During the planning phase, Matt Morton worked hard to educate us on our options and what to expect, and wrangled all the details. Originally the project timeline was set at a very aggressive 4-6 weeks, and demolition began the day after Memorial Day. There were delays and glitches, but Dave Marconi, the lead carpenter and project manager saw to it that they were handled immediately and in a no nonsense manner, and there were people on site making things happen each and every day except for one, when a subcontractor was a no show, until our house was functional again. Our kitchen was put back into service in the project's 9th week, work was substantially completed in week 10, and the last few details not impacting functionality dribbled in over the next two weeks. Shout Outs: Steve: for building a resilient organization that absorbed glitches, personnel changes, and kept making things happen Dave: for keeping a million details juggled, and keeping it all moving forwards Matt: for sorting it all out in the first place James, Gene and Lew: A group of no nonsense guys who swung the hammers, wrenches and nailers, day in and out until it was done, and done well. Contractor - Dave Marconi - provided excellent service. He was responsive, did high quality work, was very organized and left our home in clean condition at the end of each work day. He treated the job like it was in his own home. Owner/sales - Steve, was responsive and prompt to respond to my calls/emails from my first contact to my last. Despite a few misunderstandings about what was in and out of scope of the job, overall, he worked to accommodate and develop acceptable and timely solutions when issues arose. Project manager was hired at the start of my project and terminated near the end of it. He made significant errors when ordering flooring and other fixtures mainly due to poor listening, communication and organizational skills. As mentioned above, Dave Marconi, the onsite contractor, picked up the slack and ensured that errors were communicated to owner and quickly corrected. This caused some angst over a few weekends when it wasn't clear if we could find the flooring I chose months before for the price that had been quoted. We ended up paying more. While not happy about it, I'm glad we went with the more expensive marble. Overall, my new bath is a dream.

It took them about 6-7 weeks to complete the job. We liked the project manager and he was very professional. We also liked the responsiveness of the company too. There were a lot of local regulations that this company was not aware of, but eventually got every covered to complete the job.

They were good, very professional and thorough. Their price just came higher.

We really liked the sales person we met with. He was very friendly and seemed very knowledgeable, and he was on time. We realized after the estimate that the entire project we wanted was outside of our budget, so we decided just to focus on the floors. The kitchen/dining room project was estimated to cost about $4,000, which seemed average compared to other estimates we received. The flooring project was estimated at about $5,000 for a "nice laminate." I was trying to get the flooring done before we moved into the house, and my follow up questions regarding what sort of budget allowance included "nice laminate" (and other questions) went unanswered. Our correspondence was via email. I decided to go with hardwood floor for about $1,500 more with another company who's communication was better. I had a small window of time to work within, and though we understood the project might not be done before we moved in, we wanted it done as soon as possible, and at the very least to get the ball rolling and keep it moving, so to speak. I would give Executive Builders another shot with the remodeling project, though. I liked that they had all of their licenses and bonding, etc. in order. And I also appreciated the itemized estimate that I received. And again, the salesman we spoke with seemed to know what he was doing. I think we caught them during a particularly busy time.

We met with Matt of Executive Builders for a quote on building a new garage at our house. Matt met with us at our home on several occasions to work out details involved in the design of the garage, which was complicated due to the restrictive nature of our lot and proximity to the property line where the garage had to be located. The level of customer support provided by Matt was exceptional. He volunteered to come out and meet with us on weekends so as to accommodate our schedules, staked out potential footprints for the garage, and even brought out a metal detector to help locate pins marking the property boundary. We have dealt with numerous contractors and service providers over the years, and I must say we were most impressed with Matt's level of customer service, his knowledge of construction details, and his willingness to work with us to help work around design issues that arose during the course of our discussions. He made some great suggestions for details that would enhance the overall look and usefulness of the design, and was quick to turn around updated quotes based on changes we wanted. Unfortunately, due to unforeseen issues that arose, we were not able to build the garage. We had full confidence in Matt's and Executive Builders ability to construct the garage we wanted. Their pricing was not out of line, and it was competitive with other builders we'd spoken with. I will have no qualms about contacting Matt and Executive Builders in the future if other projects or remodeling become necessary.

I can't comment on the quality of the work. The price was way more than my expectation for the complete remodel. When asked for a price just on flooring, it was at least double what other's have quoted. Again, they may do great work, be easy to deal with, and trustworthy, but it comes at a price.

Executive Builders, Remodelers and Plumbing converted a porch into a bathroom and mudroom. Comments: The foreman, Dave was superb. He really took command of the job. He kept us informed on every little thing. He made us feel very comfortable with the work that was being completed. He did a very good job. They were very friendly and seemed knowledgeable on the subject. Their price was very competitive.

The quality of work was very good and they were very professional to deal with. They were very helpful.

Removal of the old shower (22 years old) included removing tile walls of the shower and acrylic base. The 2 workers performed the job in a professional manner, keeping the dust to a minimum and covering floors and cabinets. Repairing of the floor and subfloor required removal of floor tiles, cutting out rotted sub-flooring and replacing with new wood and floor boards. The ceiling of the room below was also damaged and it was repaired to a paintable state. The shower sub-floor was leveled with quick-drying concrete. The shower walls were replaced with hardy backer and re-tiled. The damaged floor tiles were replaced. The new shower enclosure was installed, all glass with new shower fixtures. In the process of the work the hardwood stairs were badly scuffed. They were quickly and completely repaired by Tim, a Mohawk Master. It was like magic. I didn't think it could be done the way he did it. Overall, Tim and Gary showed up on time every day. They worked at a good pace and were always respectful of the property. Their high level of skill was evident from the outset of the job and continued to the end. Installation of the glass shower enclosure was delayed a week due to a missed measurement of the glass sub-contractor. However, the result was perfect. We love our new shower and the fact we no longer have a weepy leak damaging our home.

They were amazing! Steve and his crew were not only professional but a pleasure to have in our home every morning during the construction. They listened to our needs and wants and provided the necessary materials no matter what our imagination came up with. The craftsmanship was second to none and I hope to come up with more work so that I can use them again. One additional important thing to note was that they were extremely tidy and made sure at the end of each day the house was in great shape.

They did a beautiful job. The two gentleman working on my house were professional and polite. They answered all my questions. \They put in flooring and drop ceiling, all new walls and instillation. They even hung an entertainment center that mounted to the wall. They worked with our electronics guy so everything was put in correctly. Thye did such a good job it doesn't look like a basement anymore. I would tell my friends about them and I would use them again.

Everything went as well as could be expected when a major remodel is being done in the home. From first contact to finished product things were smooth and well managed. What was truly great about the experience was that the same two man team worked in the house through the month long project. They were professional, respectful of our home, property and pets. Nothing was too much trouble. Every night, the floors throughout the home were swept and lightly mopped. The construction area was sealed throughout the day so that dust was at a minimum. Mike the project manager and Steve the company owner were always available by phone or email to answer questions. The work of our team was exceptional. The only outside contractor that came into the home was for the granite installation. All other work was done by the employees of Executive Builders. The budget and timeline were closely followed and any exceptions were thoroughly discussed. Yes, they were slightly more expensive than some other contractors but the professional service and sense of security in our home were well worth the additional costs. Were there a few small hiccups - sure as would be the case with any major renovation but there was nothing that would prevent us from using or recommending this company wholeheartedly. The finished kitchen is beautiful.

It went very well. I liked the person who runs it, Steve, who is excellent. The two men who did most of the work in my house, Bill and Gene, were absolutely wonderful. My neighbors were amazed at the kind of work that they did. They had to cut some wood, and they set up a tent. I am in Philadelphia and we had all this horrible weather. They would be out there working sometimes in the snow. They were terrific. The whole thing was great. With regard to price, I didn’t get that many estimates. I didn’t hesitate to leave them alone in my house. I would absolutely use them again in the future. I would recommend them to my best friend.

Steve followed up immediately after I contacted Executive. We set up an appointment, he was prompt and courteous. His crew, Bill and Gene, were friendly, professional, courteous and they did a great job on the installation and cleaned up very well.

The job was scheduled for January 6, but was pushed back because of complications on the job before ours. The entire job took from January 14 through February 11 (with two days lost to snow conditions). We had full use of the bathroom on February 8.They estimated that the work would take 10 ? 12 working days, and while circumstances required some plumbing and electrical tasks that were not in the original scope of work, the extra work did not appear to delay any aspect of the original job. There was one lead carpenter, who was personable and quite good to keep us informed about the job progress and schedule. He often had an assistant, but not every day. Perhaps they could have maintained the original estimated schedule if the helper was consistently present. The last several days of the work period were short trips by various workmen to complete the final details of the job. They were easy to deal with regarding minor changes to the job, and quite attentive to keeping the house and the work area clean. The "punch list" of items at the end of the job was minimal, although it took two tries by the plumbers to stop a slow leak in the newly installed toilet trap.

The work included demo of the old fixtures and floor, installing a ceramic tile floor, new vanity and toilet, new baseboard heat, painting the room as well as installing a new lighting fixture and bathroom accessories. |All of the folks who worked on our house were very professional. They arrived when scheduled and cleaned up at the end of each day. We were very happy with the completed powder room and with this company. I would certainly hire them again.

The job was done very professionally from the initial contact. The estimate was more detailed than any other estimate we received. Any question or phone call was quickly answered by both Steve or Mike. The project manager Dave was very helpful in giving us direction when decisions had to be made. The work done by both Dave and John was top notch. They were prompt and completed the job on time and above our expectations.
