H & M MOBILE HOME SVC INC

When they started the install, the guys that were there apparently did not know how to do the work.  They were consulting the installation instructions before every step. ( that is not all bad) However, the patio cover leaks.  Called them several time, they have caulked some.  Nothing to really fix the problem.    The owner has told us that there was nothing else they could do.  We have since called in other companies to see about fixing the problem.

I would not recommend H & M Mobile Home SVC Inc to anyone. They were punctual but, speaking with them on the telephone, I don't believe they were very professional. They didn't clean up very well after their work. They made dirt marks on my wall. I just wasn't very pleased with them. They installed the unit properly but, they made a mess.

Company ordered the furnance prior to signing a contract and then offered to discount it when we looked at another company. Ressler Propane offered everything that H and M did PLUS they would light, hook up, and and install two tanks in back. H and M left no fittings for the furnace, they did not run the pipes through the floor, nor would they guarantee it would even run. Totally diappointed with this company. We will not be using them in the future. It's a shame because we were going to ask them about placing a new roof for us next year.

My husband called them and asked where all of the fittings were and they stated the gas company has them.

New to mobile homes and the area, I called H & M Mobile home Service after King's mobile home service failed to return any of my 3 calls for service.  I'd received a flyer for H & M in the mail.  The owner, Howard, came out to give me an estimate.  I agreed to the price and signed the contract.  Howard was a very abrupt person who demonstrated no people skills at all but that did not concern me at the time.  The work done inside the home was done well.  Then came the shed.  I had contracted for 18" T111 to be attached around the lower perimeter of the shed, the doors reinforced and the corners reinforced.  I came home from work to find 6" T111 nailed around the perimeter of the shed.  I confronted the workman who told me that Howard (the owner) had told him to use the 6".  I showed the workman my contract and he said I had to call Howard about it.  I did.  Howard began screaming into the phone, "That does it!!  I refuse to do any more of these sheds!!!"  I told him that what he does in the future was his business but that I contracted for my shed to be done a certain way, had paid $900.00 for the job and wanted what I'd paid for.  Howard screamed again and hung up.  The workman's phone rang directly after this and he told me he would be back in the morning.  The next day, I came home to find my shed perimeter with 18" T111 around it and the doors reinforced.  The corners were not done and the guy never came back to do them.  I ended up going to Lowe's, buying the materials and finishing the job myself rather than deal with this Howard person again.  One other incident; The son of the owner (Howard) worked on the inside of the house.  He spent the entire two days pointing out how poorly the windows were hung, the door, etc. and telling me that their company could redo it all correctly.  Yeah, for a few more thousand bucks! After they left I swept up at least 3 dozen snuffed cigarette butts from my driveway. I never called these guys again for anything and I never will.
