Able to start work the day after estimate. Completed work quickly. Cleaned up well after each day of work. Friendly, professional and estimate was 1000 less then other estimate we got! Very happy with quality of work.

I felt that they were very competent, they knew what they were taking about. I would certainly hire them in the future.

Overall, the job went well from start to finish.

A separate contractor had removed old vinyl tiles covering this floor before Pro Floor Sanding began work at my house. I removed the layer of mastic leaving the sizer to be removed by Pro Floor Sanding. Pro Floor sanding was able to remove the troublesome paper sizer as part of their contract to refinish the floor. The work went exactly as promised.

Julio came to my home and provided a detailed estimate of the job cost and what would be extra. He also provided a 3 page printed question and answer sheet which answered questions I hadn't even thought of. My husband and I moved the furniture and removed all the carpet and padding. We also spent a few hours removing the furring strips and carpet staples (which seemed endless!). They would have done this for an extra charge. Julio and his men came as scheduled and proceeded to mask off my upstairs, downstairs levels and kitchen from the work area (no small feat in a split level!). They removed the few missed staples and then reset each and every nail in the 45 year old floor. The floor was sanded and an area was identified for repair. A repair done 10 years earlier for water damage was inadvertently done with red oak instead of white which would stain differently than the rest of the floor. I elected to have this small area replaced with white oak (the $300 is included in the price listed above). After sanding, 3 coats of oil based polyurethane was applied over a period of 3 days. The men were on-time, friendly, courteous, and cleaned up after themselves each day. I would use them again in a heartbeat.

I was really impressed by the responsiveness. I needed this done in a hurry and Julio worked with me to complete it in time for my move, even though this meant starting work on a Sunday (for which I was quite happy to pay some overtime to get it done).

The team was extremely prompt, arrived when they said they would each day. They were tidy and respectful of the job site. Their price was extremely competitive for my small job, as well. There is no story to tell here, except that everything went smoothly with no complaints, whatsoever. My project involved a cheap, relatively tired tongue and groove red oak floor. My frustration with all of the floor refinished contractors that I talked to, Pro Floor Sanding included, was that they could not, or would not offer much input on how the stain would look when complete or how to achieve the stain result that I wanted. I would not take this as a negative against Pro Floor Sanding alone, but this is a review for Pro Floor Sanding and not the contractors who only gave me estimates. If I had a basic job and wanted sanding and clear coat, I would not hesitate to use Pro Floor sanding. They offer a very good value.

Julio arrived on-time, and did a good job explaining his services. He did the price estimate on the spot, showing me the calculations as he went, which was nice. I ended up going with another company, whose quote came in about $600 cheaper, but I was happy to see that the quotes were all in the same ballpark. The estimate Julio gave was $3400 for just over 1,000 sq. ft.

They came out to give an estimate, which was very complete. Their estimate was lower, but more detailed than other companies. I had confidence that they could do the job. They called in advance to make sure it was still a good time to do it. They gave me options and time to select the color of stain I wanted. They covered everything before they started working, so they wouldn't get dust on things. They were great to deal with. They were very polite and cleaned up well. Overall it was a good experience.

The job went perfectly. They were on time and did exactly what they said they needed to do. Days one and two involved sanding and any patching. Considering the potential amount of dust, they did a great job of controlling it. With that said, be prepared for some cleanup afterwards. We cleared out our downstairs by renting Flex boxes to store all of our furniture. Also note, the sanding machine requires 220Vac. I did not have a 220 outlet, so they needed to gain access to my breaker panel to get a source of 220. It might be a good idea to see what they need ahead of time. The fumes can be a bit extreme. We had this done during a warn snap in March, so we were able to keep windows open. You need to allow as much time as possible for the coats to dry (they say 6-7 hours). You also need to wait a few days after the final coat before you move furniture into the room. It's not a simple thing to have done, but the results are fantastic. What a difference it made to our house.

We were so happy with the finished floor. These people were prompt, courteous, and professional. They were very conscientious and neat. I would highly recommend them. The price was very reasonable. This is a superb company.

Julio and his crew were wonderful! We had already moved most of our furniture to the bathroom and kitchen, but they helped with some heavier items. We had had some walls removed and there was 1 small and 1 large hole in the floor where the walls had been. They were patched beautifully (you only notice if you're staring right at that spot). They consulted with us for the 2 small decisions we had to make (plug the nail holes? No; and end with a glossy coat? No). They were finished with the work when they said, and the floors look absolutely amazing!

Dan at Moyers Services, the supervisor was great! He was honest, punctual and thorough. The floors look fabulous and the clean up wasn't bad at all. I would definitely use their services again.

Julio and his crew were professional, competent, and responsive. They did a terrific job on the floors. The overall price is probably a bit lower than it might be for a similar job, because I chose to have then sand the bedroom floors only once rather than the standard three times. I'm very pleased with their work and recommend them highly.

IMMEDIATE RESPONSE AND ESTIMATE. FINISHED FLOORS IN ALL ROOMS, PLUS CLOSETS AND STAIR TOPS. CAME OUT BEAUTIFULLY, EVEN THE FLOORS THAT HAD BEEN PAINTED OR HAD PLYWOOD GLUED OVER THEM. ALSO DID PATCHING WHERE NEEDED. DURING WORK CALLED ME TO REPORT ON PROGRESS AND CLARIFY WHAT I WANTED (WE WERE NOT LIVING IN HOUSE AT THE TIME). A WEEK AFTER WORK WAS COMPLETED AND THEY HAD ALREADY BEEN PAID, CALLED ME JUST TO SEE IF I WAS SATISFIED AND IF ANY TOUCH UP WAS NECESSARY. JULIO IS A VERY NICE GUY WITH A LOT OF RESPECT FOR BEAUTIFUL WOOD FLOORS.
