He was able to come out within 24 hours to fix my appliance and he knew exactly what was wrong from my description over the phone. He fixed my appliance and it is running better than ever. I would definitely hire him again.

He was quick to respond to my inquiry, gave me a idea of the potential costs over the phone, appeared to have thorough understanding of the appliance and was able to schedule an appointment the next day. The issue was solved in one visit and the cost ended up being less than he had expected. He seemed to be in great demand but took the time to answer all my questions, kept his focus on the job at hand the whole time and was able to put my mind at ease.

He fixed my oven

Called me within 5 minutes of submitting my request. Arrived within 1/2 an hour of that and was done in less than an hour. Very nice and very efficient. I will be recommending him to everyone I know. Price was very fair for the service provided.

Arrival timing-good, knowledge of Freezer to be repaired-Excellent, Pricing for service completed - IMHO a bit high. The Upright freezer had been moved two times and on the second occasion had lost some Freon that needed to be replaced. This was the service I requested and was preformed, but I felt the extra time the technician spent after the job to double check his own work made the job a bit expensive.

James was so knowledgeable and assisted with additional electrical issues....he's a real keeper!

Mr. McFarlane was very knowledgable about my Bosch front loader washing machine. He was very good at diagnosing the problem. James had a good response time. I expect to call him for future jobs. He is an excellent technition

We called James for a washing machine repair in May '15 and a refrigerator malfunction today (July 1). Both times we called for service, he returned our call within 30 minutes! The first call for repair was on a Saturday morning. He was at our house to make the repair immediately! Today's call was early morning and he was there in ten minutes! He's prompt, knowledgeable and fair. His pricing for the visit and labor is reasonable and competitive with larger businesses. We will continue to call on James for future repairs.
