The owner Art is a Certified ASE Master technician and PA State Certified Emissions repair license with over 30 years experience. We service and repair all makes and models foreign and domestic cars and trucks light to heavy duty. "We are sorry to hear that you had an unpleasant experience here at Arty's Auto Service. We do our very best to ensure that all of our customers feel that they are being taken care of in a professional and courteous manner. We apologize if you felt that we were not as communicative as you would have hoped during your vehicles service with us, however we did make several attempts throughout the day to keep you informed some of which went unanswered. The charges to replace the light bulbs in this instance, included labor that it took to repair damaged sockets, and connections that had gone bad all of which was detailed in your final invoice. Our free shuttle service is offered to every customer within a ten mile radius for drop off and pick up. The customer that you mentioned walking to work was offered a ride and politely declined. It is our duty to extend the service, not enforce it to those who choose not to take advantage of it. As for the shuttle driver who you so eloquently described as dirty and not up to uniform standards, I can assure you that our technicians do their very best to maintain an acceptable appearance but this is a field where that is not always possible. The confusion at the end of the day as to where to pick you up was a mistake, and action to prevent such incidents from occurring in the future have taken place. We wish that you had brought these concerns to us directly nonetheless, we have taken appropriate actions to ensure that situations like these can be avoided. We take pride in our work and our service and want to ensure that every customer receives the very best."
