Shawn knew he had a week to complete our project before we moved into the house and didn?t finish on time. He told me things were on track and that he?d finish on time up until the night before the move. Long story short that wasn?t the case and he had a million excuses . His poor time management and attitude alone would be enough to never recommend him. He also left without cleaning up and got stain all over the freshly painted walls.

Excellent work by a super guy. Was conscientious to our needs and very good to work with. Highly recommended to do hardwood floors and everything else entailed to do the job correctly. Great job, very satisfied.

Was not responsive to my concerns. Acted like a baby. I refused to hear my concerns. He then stormed out of my house screaming leave me a bad review.

Very very serious about the product he creates. Very people friendly no middle man stuff just him and it s super easy and transparent when you meet him to know he will do an amazing job. He did our hole house and it looks amazing. Will be telling everyone we know to use wheeler.

Shawn is great to work with. He communicates really well, letting you know when he ll be at the job and how things are shaping up. He also does really nice work. It s hard to complain about a person who does exactly what they say they are going to do and does that honestly and effectively.

I had Wheeler Construction do our hardwood floors (living room, dining room, hallway and bed rooms) in our rental property and they look amazing! There were some black water stains on the old floor that are no longer visible. Shawn is always on time, very professional and accommodating. I definitely plan on using him in the future for our other rental properties

Very happy with the results. Very friendly and willing to go the extra mile for the look I wanted.

The floor needed some deeper sanding, it wasn't cut, but only surface sanded. Poor stain coverage, and no care or attention to detail per finish product. My opinion is that if the stain didn't cover with the first coat, then it needs another! The floor was stained with a pecan stain by minwax, and he covered with a water-based polyurethane three times. It still soaked into the wood and there were a lot of places that were missed. Basically the floor looks way less than minimum standards. One can actually see the plain wood in multiple places where the staining didn't cover. He was very unprofessional and provided poor customer service upon requests to correct the poor quality of his work. I would not recommend him for any Hardwood floor refinishing project.

I hired Shawn Wheeler to refinish my oak hardwood floors in my 62 year old home. He did an amazing job. The man is a complete professional at what he does. I couldn’t be happier with the way my floors turned out. I would highly recommend Wheeler Construction if you are thinking about having work like this done.
