Our experience couldn't have been better! From our first phone call with Aimee, our first visit with Keith to discuss our needs, to the day of installation with Damian everything went perfectly. They were knowledgeable and helped us pick out a carpet that met our needs (we have 3 dogs). Keith even steered us away from a particular carpet because it does not work with our Dyson vacuum cleaner (wow - now that's service!) We visited the showroom and Aimee allowed us to bring samples of different colors home so that we could decide. They even managed to order and install our carpet prior to a furniture delivery we had already scheduled for the same room approximately ten days after our order was placed. What great service! Damian and his partner did an excellent job on the installation and we couldn't be happier. We will use them again in the future and highly recommend. Don't bother looking any further - these guys are the guys.

They were excellent to work with! From the beginning they were helpful and patient in the selection process, offering help when needed but not pushy at all. The workers that came to the house were very professional, worked quickly and did a great job. The left it looking good and clean. I couldn't have asked for a better experience, and we will use them again.

We had a terrible experience with Home Depot ( that's a whole other story) which left us without carpeting and exposed tack strips in our home. I went to Valley Forge Rug Co. and met with Aimee who helped me pick out a great carpet for our home. They were able to order and install the carpeting within 2 weeks time and we couldn't be more pleased with the installation. They were quick and did a fantastic job. We will be hiring them again for other flooring needs. Wonderful experience all around!

They had two employees come to complete the job. The first visit was from 8:30 to 4:30 so about eight hours; then yesterday for about three hours. Initially we got a couple quotes; they came in the cheapest and had some good reviews. They had to come back because of some issues with what they did. We saw lines where there shouldn't be, but they may come back and resolve it right away.

They did a good job. The installation was excellent, you cannot see a single seam and they were very clean. They were professional and reasonably priced. It is a family run business and they exceeded our expectations.

Keith and Amy are a pleasure to work with. There is no hard sell. They were very helpful as I wasn't sure what I wanted, but there was absolutely no pressure. They gave me the best price right away. I know because I checked. The installation was perfect. They were punctual and there were no problems. The installers were great. I absolutely love my new floors! I will definitely use them when we refinish the basement.

I could not be happier with the work and service provided by Valley Forge Rug. I selected them from Angie's List based on their high ratings, and closeness to my home. Their estimate was thorough, accounting for every detail of the job. They kept things on schedule, and delivered the wood in advance to acclimate to the conditions in my home. They sealed off the non-affected areas, so I returned home to NO DUST! Especially tricky was matching the replacement hardwood with the existing hardwood in the downstairs. The repair is invisible, and the entire downstairs living room, dining room, and hallway were sanded and sealed to complete the perfection of the repair. The repairs, sanding, sealing and installation of new hardwood began on a Thursday morning, and was complete by Saturday morning. I planned a weekend away, so the freshly sealed floor had plenty of time to dry. In the bedroom, the carpet was removed, and new hardwood was installed. The wood was pre-sealed, so the room was fully usable right away. there was one small flaw in the hallway in existing floor that appeared after the sanding/sealing, and VFR came out right away to repair the spot. An effort to repair the board was made, but in the end, a small piece of new wood was inserted. No one but me would ever know about that repair, or notice it. The team at Valley Forge Rug kept me informed about the job, dropped off wood samples, and gave me instructions on how to care and use my new floor. Because the job was being coordinated with another contractor, doing drywall repairs, all the necessary trim to complete the job was left on site. My drywall contractor had plenty of trim to complete the job. I would highly recommend Valley Forge Rug for any flooring project.Besides the hardwood floors, VFR had also recently completed a basement carpet install, with the same superior service. I am already planning to have them do two landings, a hallway and 2 bedrooms.

From start to finish, this was a great experience. They set up personal appointments for us to come to the office to look at carpets. They came out and measured and then installed within 2 weeks. We would absolutely use them again. The carpets are beautiful.

Everything went very well. Very prompt, polite and professional. We asked for an estimate for repairing/refinishing/staining steps and it was very high so we went with another company for that.

we worked with the daughter in the showroom, the father came out and did the measurements and the son in law did the installation with a helper. we were satisfied and would consider doing business with them again.

Loved working with this company. Very attentive and knowledgable. Delivery and installation done quickly. Very professional. They did a great job. Family run small business. I'll never go to the big box stores for flooring again.

It was nice that when they came to give the estimate they knew that I had pets, and they brought carpet samples for what they recommended for people with pets. They made sure they understood things about our household and they brought appropriate samples. The scheduling was fine. There were 2 guys out to do the job and they got the job done within one day. They were very professional and showed up on time.

They did a great job. Their price was better than our other quotes and they were done with the entire project less than two weeks from providing their quote. The floors look fantastic, they worked hard and efficiently only taking 2 days to do the bulk of the installation (trim work was done after the poly had hardened for a few days). One thing that was very helpful is they coordinated the furniture move and plumber to come out. We could have used our own plumber but we used theirs and he was very reasonable and prompt. That really made things easier vs. some of the other providers we talked to who left that work to us to figure out. We had one gripe about a piece of trim that was not perfect and we called (after we'd paid them so I wasn't holding my breath) and they were out the next day to make it right. Very happy with the entire experience.

We didn't use them for my mothers house because we needed it done by the following week and they couldn't do it that fast. So we used a national chain whose quote was much higher. But they agreed to do it for the price I got from Valley Forge. But since I now know that Valley Forge is giving me a fair price, I am having them do the floors in my house. Keith and Amy are very nice to work with, not at all pushy but very helpful.

We visited the showroom for the company, a small unassuming store and the salesperson we spoke to was the owner. He was extremely friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. We had gotten estimates for the job elsewhere and were very pleased with the fact that he asked us if we were members of Angies list and readily accepted the discount coupon. The price of the carpet and installation was significantly lower ($1,000) than were were quoted elsewhere. We ordered the carpet and were notified that within a week that the carpet had arrived and was ready for installation. As per our appointment, two technicians, one of whom was the owner's son, arrived on time and were extremely efficient in all phases of the job. They even gave me an opportunity to apply some paint to a wall once they moved a large entertainment center. They cleaned up thoroughly when the job was completed and the new carpeting looks terrific. My wife and I are extremely satisfied with the entire experience and would highly recommend this company to anyone.

It was a very good experience. The daughter helped us figure out what kind of floor we are going to use and get. She gave us different options. She even gave us lots of materials for take out. The father-in-law came out to measure and then the son installed the floors. They did a lot of work but they finished in about two weeks. They were great.

It's been great as far as giving us the estimate but we had not hired them. They turned around the estimate pretty quickly. It was too much but it was comparable with other ones we got. We were just hoping that someone was gonna give us a price a bit lower than what the rest were coming in. The guy came within a few days of my husband calling to give us the estimate. He came when he said he was going to. I think he gave us an honest and fair price. It's just that we've never had an estimate for hardwood so we didn't realize how expensive it was. We were hoping it would be cheaper but it's not because they didn't give us a fair estimate but because we were not educated about how much it would cost to have hardwood flooring put in. I can ask them for a quote in the future but I can't rate their work because they did not do work for us.

They were very good. The carpeting was of very good quality and they did a very nice job. I was very satisfied with them and the carpeting looks very good.

They've really been a pleasure to work with. Aimee does all of the planning, appointments, and design help. Others do the installation work. It's a family business with a lot of experience. Prices were reasonable. I was interested in quality installation in case our floor wasn't level enough or something like that. Everything came out great.

Extremely responsive and nice group of people. Estimate was fair and exact. They helped me with color and grade choices. They went the extra step to work within my dates. Recommend.

My experience with them was very good. They do very good work and are very clean. I have some issues with the wood but it is not their problem. They are coming back to take care and replace a few pieces for me. From my past experience I can say that they were competitive with everyone and in fact lesser than most.
