Description of Work: I purchased services as an Angie's List Big Deal ($89 for 4 Hours of Lawn or Landscape Work). The provider contacted me immediately and was very friendly and professional. We set up an appointment to meet. He was even very understanding when I contacted him to let him know I was running late coming home from work. We went over my landscape needs (mostly tree and shrub trimming). I have a decent sized front and back yard, with a good number of trees and shrubs. Because of the 4 hour time limit, I diagrammed my landscaping and indicated what my priorities were. If there was any time remaining, I asked that he attempt to tackle the rest. |The provider and I went over it all. I walked away feeling like (at a minimum) most of my priority items would be addressed. When the provider left, we shook hands and he said he'd be in contact with me to let me know when they would be out. Instead, I arrived home one evening and found that most of my front yard had been worked on, and none of the back yard had been touched. I think I was less disappointed with the work that did not get done, than with the fact that I was not communicated with. Overall, the big deal was worth it, but you do have to manage your expectations with regards to how much work can be accomplished within the time constraints.

Description of Work: I bought the 4 hours for $89.00, a special on Angie's list. The person from the landscaping company came to my house to see what I wanted done. I told him I wanted the ornamental grasses dug out and also a small Bradford pear cut down. He said if they then had more time because I had 4 hours, they would then maybe trim a few bushes. One day I came home & my ornamental grasses were only cut down, and the roots were still there, not dug out. A few bushes were trimmed & the Bradford pear was still there, not cut down. I waited until the following week, thinking maybe they didn't have time to do everything. (No one had ever called me when they were coming.) I then finally called & he said the person that came out misunderstood what was supposed to be done & someone would be out. Today I came home. Again there was no communication that someone one was coming that day. The ornamental grass roots were dug up. The Bradford pear was cut down, but it is not close to the ground. I was told it would be cut down to ground level. It is a tree that had no roots showing, and they should have been able to give it a cut close to the ground.

Description of Work: They provided landscaping services. The workers were precise, skillful and professional. I will definitely use them again.

Description of Work: Did a overhaul of my small city yard that was overgrown with bushes and weeds and needed to be cleaned out before the winter and so my son and I could enjoy the yard! Had a crew of 3 guys with owner coming by to make sure things were up to standards. Very professional and the crew couldnt have been nicer. Owner was quick to respond and set up service. I will look to work with them again in the spring for a new yard design/plant and mulch, possibly new paver walkway too. Highly recommend.
