Told us he'd arrive between 9:00 and 10:00. He arrived a few minutes to 10:00. The job took almost 5 hours. He had to leave to run to Home Depot to get a part. Friendly and professional.

Overall, our experience was great! Our repair needed to happen on a Sunday, so we were fearful of the additional costs. In reality, it was a reasonable charge, only $30. The cost of the visit was about $70. After the initial call to the office, the tech contacted us within 15 minutes and was at our house within an hour. He was very nice and explained how the heater works, as well as showing my husband what he was doing to the heater as he was replacing the broken part. After he left, we had hot water within 30 minutes. He let us know that if the heater still didn't work, there would be no charge for a return visit. While I hope our water heater doesn't need further attention, we will not hesitate to call this company when the time comes!

After leaving an initial message with a receptionist, the technician (Rick) called me back in a timely fashion. He was great, very friendly, and personable. He spoke with both myself and our tenant to get the information needed. The problem was solved in less than 5 hours from the initial contact.

SCOTT PREFORMED THE REPLACEMENT AS AGREED. VERY NEAT AND WELL DONE. WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

They were professional, friendly, quick, and on time. Communication was excellent, price for what I got was awesome, and they were very clean. I wouldn't have to give a second of thought about hiring these people again; the were phenomenal!

Scott promptly returned my initial call and quoted me a firm total price of $629.00, and we scheduled the installation for between 3-5 PM on Thursday. At 4 PM Thursday, he called to say he had 2 more jobs before he could reach me so I suggested he wait until Friday when he said he had no other jobs scheduled. He said he would be here between 8:30-9:00. He arrived at 9:50 and immediately jumped the price to $651.00, ostensibly because he needed something from Home Depot for the earthquake strap. As Scott was collecting payment and about to leave, I noticed the new water heater was leaking more than the old one. He finally convinced me this was merely condensation.

Randy was on time, and he spent about seven hours doing the installation, checking systems and making sure everything was operating correctly before he left. I highly recommend Randy and his company.

He's prompt and does very good work. He was also able to provide replacement parts at a reasonable cost.

Same day service. There was a little mix up over the time frame. We were called to say they would be earlier than the 2 hour window given and called later to say they wouldn't be that early. Actually came towards the end of the two hour window. Overall, a great experience. Scott was very courteous, professional, and friendly. Told us that even if we had another plumber install the Bradford White unit, Stan is the only authorized service company in Portland for this brand. So if there are any problems, we'd have to call Stan anyway!!! We called about 5 companies and Stan was the most reasonably priced. Another company, wanted $1,200 for installation alone because we have stairs.

WE PURCHASED OUR HOT WATER HEATER FROM STAN THE HOT WATER MAN A FEW YEARS AGO AND THEY'VE ALWAYS GIVEN US GOOD AND RELIABLE SERVICE, BOTH WITH THE INITIAL INSTALLATION AND WITH ROUTINE MAINTENANCE. I HAD ACCIDENTALLY CALLED AN HVAC REPAIR PERSON EARLIER THAT DAY WHEN WE DISCOVERED WE HAD NO HOT WATER. THEY COULDN'T FIGURE OUT THAT THE PROBLEM WAS SIMPLY THAT THE GAS WAS OFF. OUR BIG LESSON--IF IT'S THE WATER HEATER, ALWAYS CALL STAN FIRST!

BUD WAS EXTREMELY COURTEOUS DESPITE MY DECISION NOT TO HAVE HIM INSTALL THE HOT WATER HEATER. HE PROVIDED HELPFUL SUGGESTIONS FOR MAKING PLUMBING AND GAS LINE CONNECTIONS.

WE HAD A GOOD EXPERIENCE WITH THE COMPANY. THEY INSTALLED OUR WATER HEATER AND SERVICED IT WHEN IT NEEDED REPAIR. THEY WERE PROMPT AND DID A GOOD JOB.

WE MADE THE PHONE CALL EARLY IN THE MORNING, RECEIVED A CALL BACK VERY QUICKLY. I ONLY HAD A 2 HOUR TIME SPAN WHEN I WOULD BE HOME TO LET HIM IN. HE WORKED HIS SCHEDULE AROUND TO ACCOMMODATE MY PLANS.

HE WAS VERY HONEST AND PROFESSIONAL, CAME TO THE HOUSE IN A TIMELY MANNER, OVERALL EXPERTISE IN HIS FIELD WAS EXCEPTIONAL. WE WILL BE CALLING HIM IF NEEDED IN THE FUTURE.
