Steven Green (general manager) came out about 2 weeks to give an estimate to replace our aging furnace. I've yet to get an estimate. His professionalism was somewhat lacking. Never took a measurement, never asked about our heating needs didn't even look at our duct work and didn't explain any furnace options. I had the feeling I was bothering him to come and give us an estimate. I hope others have better dealings than I did.

Excellent service. Responded within 6 hours. Hot day, hot house, cooled nicely thanks to Brad's expertise. He was personable, friendly, professional, and thorough. It couldn't have been a better experience. We highly recommend this company.

The service man showed up on time and got right to work. He was able to answer all my questions and didn't mind me tagging behind him. I was very pleased with the service provided.

Prompt. Professional. Took the longest to prepare an estimate of the 4 companies we interviewed. Very thorough! Measured every room, went through crawl space, etc. After all of that, I was left with a legal-size sheet of paper with hand written estimate after 1-1/2 hrs. I liked our estimator, seemed like a nice guy. I would have appreciated a more detailed estimate after all of that time (sump pump for furnace drain included?, etc.). He explained his products well and explained his process for estimating adequately (getting to know what we REALLY need). We were solely interested in the Lennox line of products so this may explain the higher cost compared to the other 3 companies?

Showed up on time, performed their inspection, answered questions about the furnace and water heater. We have a pretty old gas furnace and were expecting them to say it needed to be replaced now and try to sell us a new furnace. They were honest and said that it looked all right, and though we would probably need to replace it in the next couple of years, did not try to push us into buying anything now.

We are very impressed with 72 Degrees. They were able to set up an appointment quickly and called a day ahead to confirm. Brad arrived right on time and was very thorough in explaining what he was going to do. He left a detailed report showing all the work he did with measurements of equipment voltages, currents, etc. He left the work area cleaner than when he arrived. He was professional and the cost was exactly what we had been quoted. We received a call afterwards to make sure we were happy with the service. We had Brad return on June 9 to do a thorough cleaning of the furnace blower. The experience was the same. He arrived on time, did a great job and was very professional. We used a coupon from Angie's List so the cost was very reasonable. The initial checkout cost $178.00 and the follow-up fan cleaning was $132.00. We feel that we definitely received our money's worth in both cases. We plan to keep using 72 Degrees for all of our future furnace and air conditioner maintenance. It is a pleasure dealing with such a professional company.

I purchased a coupon from Angie's List to have my furnace checked and cleaned. I was contacted immediately and asked to set up an appointment. I had to call back - my option, not theirs - to set a time up for May when my daughter would be home to assist in showing the gentleman where the furnace was since I am partially handicapped. They came when they were asked to, were on time, put on shoe covers and was professional. Brad did his work and gave me the results he found. My furnace was fine and now clean. Later that day I received a call from 72 Degrees Heating to confirm the work was done, the technician was professional and used his shoe covers. I then received a follow-up letter since this was the first time I have used them giving me more information about the company and how they check out their technicians and offering me a discount on my next service. I thought this company was very professional and I am very pleased with them.

They charged $132 for their visit plus replacing a thermostat. They were out within a couple of hours. The guy called right before he came. He knew what he was doing. He finished up in a fairly short amount of time, and everything worked.

Alisha set up the appointment. Her gracious manner and friendly voice put me at ease as she told me just what to expect on the day of service: company identification on the technician; clearly marked service vehicle--plus they do comprehensive background checks on employees--very important for women who live alone. An added bonus is the rigorous technical and customer service training which was evident throughout the technician's furnace inspection and tune-up. Brad was knowledgeable, explained what he was doing and why, and answered all my questions. I was comfortable from start to finish and so pleased by such efficiency and skill. A week later, Alisha called me and left a message asking if I was satisfied with their service. A letter then followed from General Manager Steve Green, thanking me for my business. Wow, does that happen anymore? Great company, great people, great service.

He seems to be very thorough and knowledgeable and fair. He cleaned and checked it and put some new filters in. He told me about maintenance and stuff like that. He did recommended some extra work like taking out the parts and cleaning them to help in the circulation because there hadn't been any filters in there; so it was pretty dusty. I called and they actually tried to call me back to make an appointment and we’ve been in contact for a while.

They did a great job. They did what they said they would do and the furnace still works, so I guess it was great.

It was fabulous from beginning to end. They were right on time. I got several bids so the price was what I expected. They were neat and clean. The quality was exceptional. The crew was very careful and left the job site very clean. I have already recommended them. They have a lot of integrity. What they do and what they say is what you get with the job. I never felt that they were rushing through the job. I would certainly use them in the future.

The install went very well. Chris was a very experienced installer who did top quality work and took the time to do things the way I wanted. It was a pretty big job for them to route the PVC venting for the new furnance, so it was a long day for them. By 5PM, the house was toasty warm.

We have a humidifier and pump attached to our furnace. The drain line runs under our house and froze which caused the pump to fill up with water which triggered the furnace to shut down on the first cold day (below 30 degrees) of the year! We did not realize this is what happened but the technician who came out figured out the problem right away. In less than an hour he had everything up and running again. Our technician was professional and courteous, he wore booties over his shoes when in the house and he had to go in and out several times. We absolutely will use them again!

I get tired of playing what seem to be zero-sum games with companies employing sophisticated sales tactics and manipulations, like selling fear, so it’s really nice when you come across a company that does things differently. The technicians of 72 Degrees Heating and Cooling/Air Pride Inc. have always been low key, polite, punctual and straight-shooters and have capably done the job the three times we have used their services. For the latest of three service calls for us, 72 Degrees charged less than half of what one of their competitors bid. Steve the service supervisor came personally and always seems to know what he’s doing; he seemed to take special care to ensure that things went okay.

Outstanding! Steve and his crew are true professionals. They provided excellent service and and superb products. Steve provided thorough information on the products and benefits of each. He analyzed the needs of the home to be sure we got the right furnace size and installation. He provide all the information required for the tax credits or rebates available to us. His installers are awesome and true professionals. Their provided service after installation and guarantee of satisfaction are above and beyond your run of the mill HVAC company. I am completely satisfied with my new Lennox SLP98V furnace, filtration, and thermostat. It truly is the most quiet, comfortable, and efficient appliance in my home. I would highly recommend 72 Degrees/Air Pride for hour HVAC needs.

This entire experience was excellent! When I called to get an estimate, the representative was very knowledgeable and helpful - she checked with the technicians to answer some of my questions. I was able to schedule an appointment in the late afternoon (at a time the was convenient for us) and within a week of my calling. The weather had been too cool to do the AC tune-up so I did not schedule that but it turned out to be unseasonably hot on the day of the appointment. When I called a few hours before the appointment, they were able to have the technician come an hour early so he could do both the furnace and AC at the same time; this was great (otherwise I would have had to wait until next spring to do the AC tune-up). The technician Stony arrived right on time and was very professional and courteous. He explained what he would be doing and answered all of my questions. He was very efficient, finishing in less time that estimated, and made me feel comfortable with what he was doing. When he was done, he showed us the "readings" he had gotten from the furnace and explained how the one for the amperage was too low for the indoor motor on the furnace. He explained in easy-to-understand terms the advantage of replacing it in order to have the furnace work more efficiently but did not pressure us to do so and told us things were working fine currently. We ended up replacing it, which he did right away. He also answered some questions we had about our carbon monoxide detector and provided very useful information. Our experience with this technician was excellent and we also gave him a good review to his company. He was hard-working, honest, professional, friendly and explained things to us very clearly. We would absolutely use this company again in the future.

Steve was very friendly, professional and prompt. They helped guide us about our options, the long=term benefits of each option and the tax credit implications. After initial consultation Steve kept in touch and allowed us to make the decision at our pace. Once we decided to proceed they were once again prompt, communicated very well. His team was professional, extremely courteous. Made good decisions as they proceeded and very clean and respectful. Couldn't have gone any better. Details on payment, tax credits, etc were handled wonderfully. These guys are great!

They are responsive, polite and knowledgeable. They do good work and it's a good experience. The only thing they installed in my house was a heater but they have done all the maintaining. They go out of their way to try to please you and are just really good.

From the beginning, this company was thorough, detailed and professional. Steve came out on a weekend to assess my circumstances, provided detailed and itemized options and explained everything. After getting comparison estimates, I chose 72 degrees because it was local and the price was better for my option. The installers arrived as agreed, we delightful to work with and completed the job early. Over and above the contracted work, Steve replaced drywall and added new dry wall in the garage where I had the electrical box replaced. He also moved a working wall heater from upstairs to down. No extra charges! Every person with this company has been helpful, courteous and professional... and I have cozy heat and cool air as needed.

They were very professional and thorough during the installation. They came and did exactly what they said they would do. They made sure we understood how the unit operates. I was very pleased with the work they did.

Steve responded promptly to our message. Came out in the evening to see the existing setup, explained in great detail the options and their functionality as well as pricing. The installers did a great job. Steve then came back with all applicable tax credit and rebate forms and helped us fill them out (a total saving of ±$2,500). We sprung for a zoned A/C because we have a two-story house and the upstairs always used to be 8-10 degrees warmer, and we couldn't be happier with the result.

Steve was very knowledgeable about rebates and tax credits that are available and helped us choose a very efficient system that met all of the requirements. They were able to schedule the installation within one week of signing the papers. Steve showed up the first morning with his crew and we discussed several options for the installation. They were great about answering questions and considering different options, which resulted in a better installation. The workmen did an excellent job with the installation, were on time, and very considerate and courteous. They did a great job on cleaning up and being careful of the house and yard during the work. Steve was on-site frequently while the work was in progress. After the installation was complete, Steve reviewed the operation of the system and filled out the paperwork to help us get the rebates and tax credits. A thoroughly professional job from start to finish.
