Home Depot - Tigard

It was a big project. We’ve worked with them on a number of things. The individual that we worked with was extremely helpful. She was knowledgeable about the product. She took her time with us and helped us in selecting the major appliances that we needed. She spent all the necessary time with us. She basically helped us walk the whole thing through since there was a special discount. When you move into a new area you get a new residence package from the post office. Within that package we get different discounts and things. We utilized that and also utilized a Depot card. She helped us put everything together and ensured that we received the appropriate pricing and walked us through the whole process. In Oregon there are also a number of energy credits that we receive for using energy-efficient appliances. She helped us with each one of those as to what we would need to do to receive credit. She was just wonderful. Since then we have even gone by the store just to say hello to her. Everything went very well and very smoothly. The delivery was right on time and the crew that came to deliver and install it was excellent. It was great from the start, right from research and information to the purchase and eventual delivery. They did an outstanding job. We continue to use them.

They did a fabulous job. They were wonderful. I didn’t know that they were so good. My sister has used their services before. I didn’t think that they would provide such good service but we were thrilled. Everything was just awesome. I would give them beyond ‘A’ grade if I could. I would use their services in the future too. I was just shocked to know how great they were. It was just beyond good experience for me. The price was amazing and their service was wonderful. The person who came out to get the job done was great and wonderful. They matched the carpet perfectly that I had in my hallway. It was really a great experience. There was nothing bad that happened when they came out.

I had a good experience there. The price was reasonable for the water heater, but when you added in the installation and delivery I thought the price was a little high. The contractor had to come back and fix something that was dripping and there was no charge for that. I thought that it was good that they kept to their installation agreement.

I was able to purchase carpeting for two rental homes located in two different places in Oregon. They not only allowed me to purchase from my local store, but contacted sales associates and contractors in the two stores closest to the rentals (I've worked with the Home Depots in both locations) to get everything set up. It was very efficient and the cost was reasonable. And it saved me so much money and time.

The subcontractor for Home Depot did an excellent job, we were very pleased with the results of the finished work. We would have spent four times the amount if we had replaced our cabinets with new instead of refacing. Our kitchen is like new, for a fraction of the cost. Along with refacing/replacing the finish, they also installed all new drawer boxes on all the drawers, with new drawer rails better than what we had before, and also new cabinet and drawer pulls. Everyone who sees our cabinets thinks they are brand new! We had the work done two years ago but the refacing has held up great. The only negative was the salesman sent out by Home Depot to do the bid for the job, he was rather high-pressure and very "salesman-like", we would have preferred a more relaxed and low pressure salesman. We knew what we wanted and did not need to be "sold" on the job. The installers on the other hand were very low-key and professional.

Purchased carpet at store, next day an individual measured and the store call next day to provide cost. Agreed to charge and carpet was installed approximately three weeks later. Installation service was excellent.

Every person Home Depot sent out had a shirt on with their logo, to discuss options, what to expect, when to expect it, and what would happen. I was really pleased with the kind of work and they gave us an excellent warranty. Everybody that came out worked on it from dawn to dusk and came back the next day to check up on it and put in the skylight.

Only the subcontractor who actually installed the floor was reasonable. DO ERR AND USE THESE IDIOTS!

Great! The carpet was done very professionally. A sliding pocket door needs to be trimmed now that the new carpet is in, and Home Depot advises they will take care of that. I actually got a $283 refund AFTER installation!

They were good. The purchase process in the store was somewhat cumbersome, but the sales person was very knowledgeable and friendly.

We visited Home Depot in Tigard and looked at the products they had available. We decided to purchase a sliding patio door to replace our French doors. The employees were very helpful and sent out someone to look at what we were replacing, measure for our new door and give us an estimate for the work to be done. Took longer then we were told to get our order for the patio door. It was to be custom made but still took longer then it should have. Home Depot was not diligent in keeping us informed about what was holding up our project. We were constantly calling them trying to get a time line of when the door would arrive and when it would be installed. The contractors who did the work for us were great.

Home depot design services leave a lot to be desired in the efficiency of quoting remodeling work. However, once directed to Precision Countertops, we were very pleased to deal directly with them. Precision performed well!

THEY INCREASED PRICES OF MATERIALS AND LABOR AND WOULDN'T ADHERE TO ORIGINAL CONTRACT. VERY UNSATISFACTORY EXPERIENCE. WOUND UP CANCELING WORK AND CREDIT CARD.

Horrible. Did not meet self imposed deadline to call for measure appointment, carpet back ordered for 6 weeks, but not notified until the day it was supposed to arrive. Unprofessional installers that barely spoke English, little experience, very sloppy job. Many errors. Install manager insulted me. Follow up to home depot required escalation to store manager to get a call from person to come out and review install job.

It looks just beautiful. We did have a problem when it got hotter. The paint bubbled up in places. We contacted them and they came right out to fix the problem.

The installers were on time and professional. The installation took much longer than we anticipated, and the guys were dead tired as they finished up late into the night. Their work got a little sloppy toward the end, but they fixed what asked them to fix and generally we are pleased with the results.

The Oregon Tigard Home Depot was FABULOUS to work with. The tile installer (no longer working for the contractor) initially did a poor job but Tigard Home Depot was incredible. They made certain the contract company returned until all the work was redone properly and to our satisfaction. They never once made us feel we were being picky or unreasonable, yet they were fair. Without hesitation they went to bat for us insisting on a quality job no matter what it took. They did all the leg work, calls, etc. to make sure we had a first-class job. They were 100% responsive. What is equally amazing is each person on the staff we dealt with..Dave, Lynisa, Brenda,Morrie, etc....was supportive and dependable. I would recommend them highly from the selection process to completion. Great follow-through and expertise. They gave something hard to find these days--great customer service insisting on quality work. We couldn't be more pleased.

Overall it was a terrible experience and a big waste of time. Still can t believe they would treat a long time (at least in the past) customer this way.

THE TWO CONTRACTORS WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL WITH ONLY MINOR DISTURBANCE TO THE HOMEOWNER. THEY INSTALLED SEVEN WINDOWS IN JUST OVER SIX HOURS. THEY WERE CLEAN, AND TIDY IN THERE WORK METHODS, AND I WOULD STRONGLY RECOMMEND THEM TO OTHERS WHO NEEDED REPLACEMENT WINDOWS.

VERY HELPFUL IN PICKING EDGING STYLE, DISTINGUISHING BETWEEN VARIOUS COUNTERTOP MATERIALS, AND PROVIDING SAMPLES TO TAKE HOME TO SEE IN OUR KITCHEN. PROVIDED GOOD 1-YEAR FREE FINANCING FOR NEW COUNTERTOPS. WORK REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION BY PRECISION COUNTERTOPS.

HOME DEPOT CONTRACTS WITH PRECISION COUNTERTOPS IN THE PORTLAND AREA. I CALLED PRECISION FOR AN ALTERNATIVE BID AND THEY SAID THEIR PRICE WAS LOWER THROUGH HOME DEPOT! ANYWAY, THEY WERE EXCELLENT IN EVERY RESPECT - GOOD QUALITY, PUNCTUAL, ETC.

SALES PERSON WAS HELPFUL AND TRUTHFUL, DID NOT JUST TRY TO UPSELL OR CROSS-SELL US.

AT THE STORE, THEY HAD A VERY GOOD SELECTION OF FLOORING. THEY HAD GOOD PRICING. I FELT THAT THE PEOPLE WHO WORKED WITH US WERE VERY FRIENDLY.

I THOUGHT THAT THEY HAD GOOD PRICES AND A GOOD SELECTION OF CARPETS IN THE STORE. THE INSTALLATION OF THE CARPET, HOWEVER, WAS DONE VERY POORLY.
