Excellent from start to finish. Excellent communications. Explained everything. Ended up charging about 150.00 less than the estimate! Close relationship with rental agency. They reserve a rental car for you and arrange for you to be picked up, then let you leave it with them for pickup. Really nice people, clean attractive . Guarantee for as long as you own the car.Cleaned the car inside and out.

The best auto body repair work I have ever experienced. To a person, every staff member I came in to contact was professional, knowledgeable, efficient, and customer friendly. The estimator that was assigned to my repair work (Rod) followed the repairs from start to finish. The work was not only done as agreed, on time and on budget, but, the condition of my vehicle when I picked it up, was as clean as it was, when I took it in to their facility. He went above and beyond my expectations in assuring that when the work was completed, you cannot tell it had ever it experienced any damage. Believe them when they say that their goal is for every customer to have a pleasant overall experience and to be completely satisfied.

There are not very many positive things I can say about a car accident, but one that I can say is “Artistic Auto Body.” Their motto is “Restoring Peace of Mind,” and they do so very well. I worked with Jason Lee to have my car repaired. He was professional, patient, courteous and extremely helpful. He guided me through the repair process, helped me in filing the insurance claim, and kept me informed every step of the way. Net result, I have my car back and I now have peace of mind. The car was in repair for a reasonable length of time, looks brand new and runs beautifully. Auto repair does not get any better than this. I extend my thanks and appreciation to Jason, the repair technicians and the front office staff. Would I recommend them? You bet!

Given the backlog of repairs, everything went as estimated and scheduled. Both vehicles are like new. Would definitely do business with Artistic Auto Body again. Artistic Auto Body is on my insurance company's list of approved providers.

This is the very best repair shop in the NW. I would never go to or recommend any other shop. Perfection and strong customer service are what they live by.

Great responsiveness. Worked with Geico insurance. Initially, Geico wanted to total the car, but I wanted it fixed. I love the car and did not want to deal with banks and car dealers. The estimators were able to waive some cosmetic repairs and bring the cost down also eliminating uncertainties in the estimate so that Geico agreed to pay for fixing the car. The waived items were applied to my deductible which I appreciate very much. Got phone calls and text messages from the shop on scheduled days about the progress. The car was finished on the promised day. "B" for quality because the front charger door is a tiny bit misaligned, but I can live with it. Can only notice it while viewing at a certain angle. The car was returned cleaned inside and outside and smelled like new.

Great. They completed the work in a timely fashion

It was actually our son?s car, but it is in our name. Someone hit my son?s car. It took forever, there were a lot of issues with ordering parts and wrong parts being sent. I don?t think it was their fault, but it was a very prolonged, what seemed to be a minor repair. The car was drivable. That is who Vic?s recommended. That is why we agreed to wait so many months to get it worked on and because we hung in there. I have to say, they were really good with working with the insurance company, of course the other guy?s insurance company. The insurance company didn?t want to do as much work as they were recommending and they argued in their favor and they got their way. It was just a prolonged thing, my son had to rent a car for at least 6 weeks. Communication was good. It was just so hard to get in, they were booked. Every time there was a delay, they would call and said what the problem was.

Compared to my experience with other body shops, Artistic was impressive. Front desk staff and estimators are courteous and knowledgeable. The estimate was accurate, and repair work came in slightly under the quoted cost. The work was completed on time and there was good communication during the repair process. The work itself was excellent, and the car was completely detailed inside and out when finished.

Thought we had a leaky sunroof and took it back to Artistic Autobody because they had fixed it a few months prior. Their tech explained that actually we had clogged sunroof drains and cleared them out for us without charging us anything.

I brought my car in due to hitting a deer the week of Thanksgiving in 2014. I had to wait to get the work done because I needed to pay the deductible and be able to pay for the rental car as that wasn't covered under my insurance. When I brought my car in for the estimate, the estimator was really nice and got the estimate written up in timely fashion while I waited in the waiting room. When I finally brought my car in 3 months later, after scheduling my appointment 3 weeks in advance. They ordered the parts to repair my car the day I brought it in, and told me 4 days later that they needed to keep my car into the following week because the parts were poor quality. I was mad because I was having to pay out of pocket for my rental car and was having to pay for an additional 2 days because the shop was closed and they wouldn't even be working on it. I finally got my car back after having it in there for 8 days. The estimator said he would contact the company that produced the poor quality parts to reimburse me the money spent on my rental car for the extra 3 days. I called, left voicemails and emailed multiple times over the next few times and I never got one response back. After writing a review on Yelp a few months ago, I was contacted by someone else within the company and they emailed me a check for the reimbursement of the 3 days I had to pay for the rental car. I appreciate the contact from the other employee within the company, but the estimator that helped me, I feel he has bad customer service when something goes wrong. He didn't know how to handle the situation. I work in the same type of industry where we have to provide materials for customers and we know about the appointments in advance (at least 2-3 weeks) to where we can order them and have them ready for when we arrive at their home. I don't understand why the parts were not ordered prior to my showing up on that Monday morning.

My car was damaged by worker at a local auto repair, and I was anxious to get estimates to them since I was asking them to pay for the damages. Artistic allowed me to bring the car in for an estimate late on a Friday afternoon, even though they didn't have any actual open appointments available until the following week and got an emailed estimate to me right away. They provided an estimate and also worked with the company paying for the damage to make it affordable. I took the car in to Artistic and the repair took several days. They offered to provide a low cost rental car, but that wasn't necessary. The repair itself was excellent - paint matched perfectly, etc. In addition, they did what looked like a full detail of the car, inside and out so I got it back looking like new. The office and estimating staff were all great. I would definitely use them for future work.

I asked my car dealer about fixing a small scratch on the rear bumper. They sent me to a body shop that gave me a $650 estimate to repair the damage. They also said they could do a touch-up for $50. After checking Angie's List, I noticed that body shop wasn't highly rated and that Artisan was at the top of the list. Preston told me to go to the dealer and purchase the proper touch-up color and that he'd apply the paint -- no charge. So I did and he worked his magic. It's not perfect, but it sure beats a $650 repair for minor cosmetic damage. I would have gladly paid them to do the touch up, but he said no. All I can say is that if I ever need body work done, this is the place I'll go to without a doubt!

What an amazing experience! No no one ever wants to have body work done on their car. From the moment I dropped off my car, I was impressed with the staff's care and communication. I received updates through calls and e-mails. The repairs went faster than I expected. I never had to wonder what was happening because the communications from Artistic were frequent and detailed. They helped me get into a rental car in which I was able to just leave the keys and drive away in my own car when I picked it up. The repairs are flawless. They detailed my car inside and out, it looks better than it did when I bought it. They also gave me a bottle of touch up paint which I intended to use for rock chips on the hood of my car... To my surprise, they already touched up those spot too!. I will never go anywhere else should I have need for this type of service again.

It went great! The only problem was that the repair was done over the bad snow weather here and the parts were not able to be delivered when expected. But they stayed in good contact with me and was very apologetic for the delay and helped pay for the additional car rental days. This was an insurance repair and my deductible was $500.00. I believe the cost would have been around $1100.00. I was VERY impressed with their work and how well they matched the color. The car look amazing when I picked it up - it was also all cleaned inside and waxed outside! Made my 13 year old car look new!

I had a little fender bender - first in 17 years. I didn't know who to go to and wanted to educate myself, so I ended up going to 4 auto body shops for estimates. When you walk through the door at Artistic Auto Body you are instantly greeted by a warm welcome. I worked with Rod and immediately liked him. He was very friendly and explained how things would work between his shop and my insurance company. He also provides free entertainment - various voice impersonations. Hilarious! When I dropped off the vehicle for repair, I pointed out a couple of door dings that have been bothering me since they happened and asked if they could pull them out (separate from the insurance, obviously). He said that he would open a separate work order for them and give me a call with the price once he was able to talk to "his guy". The price for the two dents was VERY reasonable (I had been quoted twice the amount at a different shop a year ago), so I had them removed while the vehicle was in the shop already. When I went to pick up the vehicle after all of the repairs, I found that they had washed it, inside and out. It had a new car smell again. It was wonderful! The dent removal was perfect too! The door panel is perfectly straight like there had never been a dent there. I recommend this shop to everyone.

My previously owned sports car, the gem of my mechanical life, had been drastically lowered by the previous owner, who lived in an area with much better roads than Portland's. Here, the nose scraped on many irregularities, and the side under the passenger door found a sharp curb corner, creating an ugly welt. Artistic Auto Body has a USAA-recommended decal on their front door, a very good sign. My experience with them bore that out, as they fixed everything on my car, raised the adjustable suspension back to stock height, replaced a leaky windshield washer reservoir, and repainted a tricky Silverstone-metallic to an exact match. The younger people seemed more professional and enthusiastic than the older ones, but they were all worthy of a A. My girlfriend is anxious to take her Lexus to them, and I'm confident they'll do a perfect job.

We had a great experience with this shop. My car looks amazing and the price was fair. The people at the front desk and the person who handled our repair were all very professional, kind and knowledgable. Being hit by another driver even when the damage isn't huge is such an annoying thing to deal with. This shop makes it all better. They even cleaned the whole car, far beyond our expectations. We will recomend this shop to others.

Rodney Cottis was my primary contact for the repair. He did a great job explaining the job and answering all my questions. He kept me informed throughout the process (as he promised) and sent me photos of the work in progress. I had read all the good comments about them on Angies List and they all rang true for me. I highly recommend them and Rodney in particular.

They were great. You could see customer service was very important to them, but more importantly my car looks great! Brand New!

They did a beautiful job. They workded hard to get the right parts. The paint matched. It was all good. They even touched up the parking lot dings for me. They were a joy to work with. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again and send anyone there. Cost was covered by insurance.
