Lifetime Windows & Doors

Good. They contacted me after the bad review I gave and my concerns were brought to their attention.

I contacted several contractors to look at and bid my job. Several would not even come out saying the job was too small. Two other contractors arrived, took measurements and never got back to me - extremely RUDE!!! I found a totally different experience with LTW & D's. I e-mailed them pictures of the window to be replaced and my "desires" for the job. I was contacted within a few days by their sales person, Alvin Chan. Alvin was a bit late for our appointed time, but called to let me know he was running late due to traffic issues - VERY PROFESSIONAL!! Alvin took pictures and measurements and discussed the job with me. To my surprise, he called later that afternoon with a quote. The cost was about what I thought it should be - so Alvin returned the next day with a contract. After contract signing - the experience only got better. Appointments were made with two project managers, Keith and Lisa. Both were on time and had some great suggestions for the project - and was assured they would both check on the status of the job once it got started. The communication level was EXCEPTIONAL with Tracy in the office giving me status updates on my window order as well as installation dates. Unfortunately, we had two lengthy delays in the job start date due to Portland's snow storms. Once we had a break in winters weather, the job date was set and a crew of 3 showed up on time. Manny, Carlos and Tyler were the three assigned to my job. Manny, being the lead, had XLNT communication upon arrival and discussed what they were going to do and to make sure we were "all on the same page" with project desire. It took the first day to remove my old window, install the three new windows and trim out the work. The second day was adding the roof eave and craftsman corbels. I am a PERFECTIONIST!!! I am absolutely 100% pleased with the work these 3 "craftsmen" did on this project and the pride in their work shows!! The interior trim work was done by Manny and is simply beautiful! Carlos trimmed out the exterior and perfectly matched my exiting craftsman-style trim around my front door. Tyler was the ground guy and I can tell the three make a great team. Keith and Lisa did, indeed, check on the status of the project, as promised. Lindsey, in the office, kept me informed of any updates during the project. I cannot say enough about my positive experience with this company, from start to finish an absolute joy to work with. I would, without hesitation, HIGHLY recommend this company!!!

Our job was scheduled to be done just before the December snow storm, they were very professional and added more workers when they realized the storm was immenent. They got the windows in and made sure there were no leaks, before they left. As soon as the storm was over they came back promptly and finished the job. We love our new windows and doors as do several guests that we've had over. Comments: They're beautiful!

The installation went very well. The weather was bad but the installers were great and they went out of their way to be helpful taking down and replacing the blinds which they did not have to do but were so wonderful about helping us out. The windows and doors were perfect and we already noticed the difference in temperature-no drafts anymore. Thanks once again and will use the company again when we need more replacements

We started with planning the project with Jim who was detail oriented and thorough. In both phases, the work was done on time and in a timely manner. Lisa and her team were knowledgeable and professional. The final product looks great.

Joe the estimator was knowledgeable & on-time Manny & install crew were fantastic. Manny has incredible focus & attention to detail. Lisa project-manager was always available.

Sales rep very knowledgeable, low pressure. Crew showed up at scheduled time removed all three window and doors, installed new ones. They seemed very experienced, were very careful inside my house. They left my home meticulously clean. Crew was very respect to me & my property.

It didn't end up happening because they never got back with me. The guy who came out was prompt. He did a good job while he was there. He was very quick to give me an estimate. They were there on time. They're professional and courteous. I just had trouble getting the office staff to follow through.

Jim G. sales rep was very pleasant and gave us a reasonable estimate. However, because we live in a rainy area we had to schedule. The work for summer so is good to ask best time when is not too busy and they can do the job. We had to wait like 3 months at least.

They were efficient and did the installation the right way. Every window and sliding door works so easy you can open or close with one finger! The Installation Technicians knew what they were doing and had all the cool power tools to do it. They took the time to lay plastic covering in the house and had a HEPA vacuum that did the job and left no dust. Really, it was white glove clean - all six windows and the sliding door! True professionals that I will highly recommend.

The sever-member work crew arrived promptly about 9 am and worked till sunset most days. They knew what to do and how to do it. They provided their own port a petty and dumpster item picked up their debris after work each day.

They are still working. They were here yesterday, today and probably tomorrow. Give them A for awesome. They are doing great. They cover everything. They clean up everything. They are just putting the windows in so I don't know how good they'll be till I've lived with them. They look beautiful. They look A, awesome. I would say they are installing great quality windows. When I have asked them to help me get the shades off the window that I can't get off, they take them down. They cover everything up so I would recommend them to anybody.

First, I attempted the number at the top of the website. It was a disconnected/wrong number. Had to scroll to bottom of page to get an actual working number. (Mentioned this to person spoke with and has since been fixed) Second, person I spoke with continually called my either "sweetie" or "honey". Then proceeded to ask when the best time would be for my HUSBAND to be there as well. If I am calling, you gotta deal with me. I later gut-checked with others online and the kindest response I got about this exchange was "honey, it isn't 1950 anymore". Ugh. Thirdly, I went ahead and set up an appointment. I am sitting here 2 hours after the appointed time and no phone call, no-show. Guess I know which company we'll be using now (hint: not Lifetime)

Rick, Simon, and Jim were here each day for 6 days to replace all the windows and door. They were here on time and worked in a very professional manner. The boys worked long hours and made sure that every move and change was done correctly.

It was a good experience all around. The estimator who came out had samples for me to see, told me the pluses and minuses of the different brands they carry. Wrote up an estimate that day. I got bids from 2 other companies, one of which was actually less, but I admired the professionalism and helpfulness this company showed. On install day, they showed up on time, took pains to cover the carpet so it wouldn't get dirty, took down the blinds I couldn't manage, did the install, including inside & outside trim, and cleaned up after themselves. O, and when I asked about some work on the existing skylights, turns out their company does that too!

LIfetime Windows and Doors is awesome. From the information gathering/getting a bid process with Joe, critical measure with Chris, scheduling with Tracy, and install with Manny and his crew, I am impressed and happy. They exceeded my expectations. This was a big job, and they added extra members to the crew to get it done in one week. Each day they covered/protected the areas around where they would work and then thoroughly cleaned up before they left. Their communication was great--I always knew what to expect each day, and each afternoon Manny would let me know what they finished that day, what they'd be working on the next day, and what time they would arrive. All members of the crew are friendly and they worked HARD in the hot sun. And my windows are beautiful! We can already tell how much quieter and cooler it is inside. And they added trim to the floor and door frame for our slider. Great job.

The team of installers came right on time every day. They covered the inside with plastic and worked on each window until it was done. They cleaned up inside & out each day. They were very professional and polite. We love the new windows. The Krypton gas inside the double pane windows is an amazing insulator.

Called and spoke with Mona. Was disappointed to be dismissed with two small of a job. While I understand this is something that should be explicitly mentioned in your ad so no ones time is wasted.

Saw this organization at the Home & Garden show. Scheduled an appointment that day. Measurements taken at the appointment and everything explained. Everything went very smoothly. The day the door was installed. I had some other people there doing work on my house. Installers worked around everyone-couldn't be happier.

Jim was great when he first came out. Very pleasant and genuine. I changed my mind quite a few times and Jim was always very pleasant. Chris came to do final measurements and gave the great guidance on how to restore the charm to the windows. Installers were quick, clean and very polite. Great experience!

Excellent all around! Every member of the Lifetime team was professional and excelled in their trades.

Lifetime was great. All the staff was friendly and personable. At one point calling the office line resulted in confusion though.

We moved into this house last august, the original house was built in 1980. Two additions were added in 2002. Last winter we noted that the new milgard windows in the addition were very efficient in old weather, we had ice on the interiors of the older windows when hitting temperatures below 10 F. We decided to replace all old window and doors. Called lifetime windows & doors to schedule installation. Great experience –very professional team. We love the doors and windows note; lifetime is a distributor of Milgard windows & doors.
